Abstract

This study's purpose was to describe teachers' strategies in implementing gross motor development activities in children aged 5-6. The research method is a descriptive and qualitative approach—the data collection using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The source data was obtained from the kindergarten class teacher. The results of this study indicate that kindergarten teachers prepare a variety of strategies that can be used in the implementation of the development of gross motor skills of children. It starts from designing a learning plan, designing activities according to the theme and sub-theme of learning, preparing media based on the selected theme by utilizing items around the house, and giving talks, demonstrations, and direct practice. In this method, the teacher explains the purpose of the activity first to the child and then practices it with the child. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that teachers become more creative in preparing materials and media.   Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengembangan motorik kasar pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode penelitian ialah metode dekriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Sumber data diperoleh dari guru kelas Taman Kanak-kanak. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru Taman Kanak-Kanak menyiapkan berbagai strategi yang bisa digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengembangan keterampilan motorik kasar anak, yang dimulai dari membuat perencanaan pembelajaran, merancang kegiatan sesuai tema dan sub tema pembelajaran, menyiapkan media berdasarkan tema yang dipilih dengan memanfaatkan barang-barang di sekitar rumah, serta menggunakan metode pemberian tugas, demontrasi, dan praktek langsung. Dalam penerpan metode tersebut guru menjelaskan tujuan kegiatan terlebih dahulu kepada anak kemudian ikut mempraktikkannya bersama anak. Berdasarkan hasil hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru menjadi lebih kreatif dalam menyiapkan bahan dan media.

Abstract

Parents are the first teachers who play an essential role for children in forming their cheerful character. Especially in the early childhood phase, where in this phase is the golden age phase, a perfect golden age when children are given positive stimuli, both from their mindset and behavior. Parents have crucial moments for forming children's character and personalities during this period. This study aims to determine the extent to which the benefits of hypno-parenting techniques are applied to early childhood development and the appropriate techniques for carrying out hypno-parenting. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research. The results of this study are that hypno-parenting is necessary for the formation and development of character in early childhood. The ways that can be done are: a) When communicating with children, try to use positive and constructive words; b) Speak gently, do not use harsh language or high intonation; c) Show affection by giving hugs, often inviting discussions, get involved in school activities, d) Parents have cohesiveness in providing education and care for children, e) Appreciate the hard work that has been done, f) Do not be ashamed to apologize if parents do make a mistake, g) Set a good example, by demonstrating behavior, not just words. At the same time, the purpose of hypno-parenting in forming children's character is to form noble morals by giving suggestions through the subconscious and with the principle of parents giving noble examples, both in terms of words or actions towards children.   Abstrak Orang tua merupakan guru pertama yang berperan penting bagi anak dalam pembentukan karakter positifnya. Terlebih pada fase anak usia dini, di mana pada fase ini merupakan fase golden age, masa emas yang sangat baik ketika masa ini anak diberikan stimulus-stimulus positif, baik dari pola pikir ataupun perilakunya. Masa ini merupakan masa di mana orang tua memiliki waktu-waktu yang krusial untuk pembentukan karakter dan kepribadian anak. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah sejauh mana manfaat dari teknik hypnoparenting diterapkan pada perkembangan anak usia dini dan bagaimana teknik yang tepat untuk melaksanakan hypnoparenting. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian library research. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa hypnoparenting sangat diperlukan dalam pembentukan dan perkembangan karakter pada anak usia dini. Adapun cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah: a) Ketika berkomunikasi dengan anak, usahakan dengan kata-kata positif dan membangun, b) Berbicara lemah lembut, tidak menggunakan bahasa kasar ataupun intonasi yang tinggi, c) Menunjukkan rasa kasih sayang, dengan memberikan pelukan, sering mengajak diskusi, ikut terlibat dalam kegiatan sekolah, d) Orang tua memiliki kekompakan dalam memberikan pendidikan dan asuhan terhadap anak, e) Menghargai jerih payah yang sudah dikerjakan, f) Jangan malu minta maaf jika memang melakukan kesalahan, g) Memberikan contoh yang baik, dengan menunjukkan perilaku, bukan hanya perkataan. Sedangkan tujuan dari hypnoparenting dalam pembentukan karakter anak yakni membentuk akhlak mulia, dengan cara memberikan sugesti melalui alam bawah sadar dan dengan prinsip orang tua memberikan contoh yang mulia, baik dari segi perkataan ataupun perbuatan terhadap anak.

Abstract

Many character values are contained in learning Hadith. It needs to be developed and optimized through memorizing the Hadith, especially in early childhood, who need basic religious knowledge. This study aimed to examine the application of Hadith habituation as an inculcation of Islamic character values in early childhood. The research was conducted at an Islamic kindergarten in Palangka Raya, Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models, carried out through three stages: condensing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The research results revealed that the application of Hadith memorization in early childhood can help the development of moral and religious values, language development, and children's memory. Children are not only required to memorize but also be able to pronounce correctly and apply it in everyday life. The hadith memorization method is applied in a group of study centers, namely Imtaq centers. The memorized hadiths are short because they are adapted to the abilities of early childhood. Supported by daily habit and repetition, children become more familiar with the Hadith introduced by the teacher.   Abstrak Banyak nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam pembelajaran Hadits. Hal tersebut perlu dikembangkan dan dioptimalkan salah satunya melalui hafalan Hadist. Khususnya pada anak usia dini yang membutuhkan pengetahuan dasar tentang ilmu agama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji terkait penerapan pembiasaan Hadits sebagai penanaman nilai karakter Islami pada anak usia dini. Penelitian dilakukan di sebuah taman kanak-kanak islam di Palangka Raya, Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles, Huberman dan Saldana yang dilakukan melalui tiga tahap yaitu data dianalisis dengan kondensasi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh mengungkapkan bahwa penerapan hafalan Hadits pada anak usia dini dapat membantu perkembangan nilai moral dan agama, perkembangan bahasa, dan daya ingat anak. Anak-anak tidak hanya dituntut untuk hafal namun juga bisa melafalkan dengan benar dan mampu menerapkannya di kehidupan sehari-hari. Penerapan metode hafalan hadits dilakukan dalam suatu kelompok sentra belajar, yaitu sentra Imtaq. Hadits-hadits yang dihafal adalah hadits pendek, karena disesuaikan dengan kemampuan anak usia dini. Dengan didukung oleh pembiasaan setiap hari dan juga pengulangan, anak-anak menjadi semakin akrab dengan hadits yang diperkenalkan oleh guru.

Abstract

Today, people live in the digital age. Everyone from all walks of life, including early childhood, is familiar with gadgets. Gadgets can hurt early childhood due to parents' lack of awareness of the dangers posed. This article elaborates on parenting strategies for early childhood socio-emotional development in the digital era. The primary sources used are national and international journals, while secondary sources are books related to the topic of discussion. Journals and books used as references discuss parenting strategies that focus on early childhood socio-emotional development in the digital age. The results show that intelligent techno parenting is an appropriate strategy to educate and develop children's potential optimally; parents should be more active and creative and understand the development of technology as a positive educational tool for children.

Abstract

Children's behavior and personality are mainly influenced by their closest ones, families. Therefore, parents must understand various parenting strategies to nourish their offspring with as many good values as possible, especially those stemming from Rasulullah's practices (prophetic parenting). Parents and even teachers need to realize that to shape the younger Muslim generation, and they must rely heavily on the fundamental religious text of Islam, which are the Quran and Hadith, in their daily life and even in the schooling system. This qualitative study which was conducted as library research, focused on the concept of prophetic parenting from the perspective of Jamal Abdurrahman and Muhammad Nur Abdul Hafizh Suwaid, which then compared to two Indonesia curriculum documents, namely the 2013 curriculum and the Merdeka curriculum. It was found that: (1) the concept of prophetic parenting covered the aspects of child development and (2) the concept of prophetic parenting from Jamal Abdurrahman and Muhammad Nur Abdul Hafizh Suwaid's viewpoint was relevant to the six aspects of child development according to the regulation of the minister of education and culture of Indonesia Number 146 regarding the 2013 Curriculum – namely (a) moral and religious values development; (b) cognitive development, (c) physical and motor development; (d) language development; (e) social-emotional development; (f) art development, and the three learning outcomes in the Merdeka Curriculum in early childhood education level – namely, (a) character and religious values; (b) true-self; and (c) the basics of literacy and STEAM.   Abstrak Keluarga merupakan lembaga pendidikan pertama yang sangat berpengaruh pada pembentukan kepribadian anak. Untuk itu, dalam proses mendidik anak, kedua orang tua sudah sepatutnya memiliki ilmu dan wawasan terkait berbagai cara terbaik dalam mendidik anak; terutama metode mendidik yang merujuk pada Rasulullah saw (Prophetic Parenting). Hal ini dikarenakan untuk membentuk generasi muslim yang shalih, tentu tidak akan terlepas dari dua pondasi Islam yang utama, yaitu al-Quran dan al-Hadits. Fokus penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research ini adalah konsep prophetic parenting menurut Jamal Abdurrahman dan Muhammad Nur Abdul Hafizh Suwaid serta relevansinya terhadap enam aspek perkembangan sesuai dengan Permendikbud Nomor 146 tentang kurikulum 2013 Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dan Kurikulum Merdeka pada satuan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) konsep prophetic parenting yang ditawarkan oleh Jamal Abdurrahman dan Muhammad Nur Abdul Hafizh Suwaid mencakup beberapa aspek yang dibutuhkan dalam perkembangan anak usia dini; (2) konsep prophetic parenting yang ditawarkan oleh Jamal Abdurrahman dan Muhammad Nur Abdul Hafizh Suwaid relevan dengan enam aspek perkembangan anak usia dini sesui Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor 146 tentang kurikulum 2013 Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, antara lain (a) perkembangan nilai agama dan moral; (2) perkembangan kognitif, (c) perkembangan fisik motorik; (d) perkembangan bahasa; (e) perkembangan social emosional; (f) perkembangan seni serta tiga capaian pembelajaran Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dalam Kurikulum Merdeka Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, yaitu (a) nilai agama dan budi pekerti; (b) jati diri; dan (c) dasar-dasar literasi, matematika, sains, teknologi, rekayasa, dan seni (STEAM).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of teachers in addressing the communication and social skills of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder along with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEP). This type of research in this article uses a literature study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using literature analysis. Source triangulation is done by searching for data from various sources that are still related to one another. The results of the study show that: 1) Children with ASD experience problems in communication and social-emotional aspects, 2) Children with ASD have very varied conditions, so the approach will be different 3) Communication and social-emotional strategies can be adapted to the school environment according to the needs of children with ASD, 4) Regular (inclusive) schools, the role of the teacher is to provide assistance and focused treatment of the individual autistic child, 5) For mild autistic children, he can still interact and communicate with normal children, while for this severe type, he cannot interact socially and communicate even though he is with his friends..., 6) The application of the IEP (Individualized Educational Program) can accommodate individual barriers because it is an individual program based on the special needs of children in learning so that it can optimize children's potential both in the learning process as well as education as a whole, 7) An autistic people tend to be alone and show preoccupation with their world and minimal eye contact so they don't seem to focus on the surrounding social environment.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam menangani kemampuan komunikasi dan sosial anak dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder dan penerapan IEP (Individualized Education Program). Jenis penelitian dalam artikel ini menggunakan studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi kepustakaan.  Triangulasi sumber dilakukan dengan cara mencari data dari beragam sumber yang masih berkaitan satu sama lain.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Anak dengan ASD mengalami gangguan pada aspek komunikasi dan sosial-emosional, 2) Anak dengan ASD memiliki kondisi yang sangat bervariasi, sehingga pendekatannya pun akan berbeda 3) Strategi komunikasi dan sosial-emosional dapat disesuaikan dengan lingkungan sekolah sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak dengan ASD, 4) Pada sekolah reguler (inklusi), peran guru adalah memberikan pendampingan dan penanganan yang berfokus pada individu anak autis, 5) Untuk anak autis tipe ringan, masih dapat berinteraksi dan berkomunikasi dengan anak normal, Sedangkan untuk tipe berat, mereka tidak dapat berinteraksi sosial dan berkomunikasi meskipun dengan teman-temannya, 6) Penerapan IEP (Individualized Educational Program) dapat mengakomodir hambatan individu karena merupakan program individual yang didasarkan pada kebutuhan khusus anak dalam belajar sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan potensi anak baik dalam proses pembelajaran maupun pendidikan secara keseluruhan, 7) Anak autis cenderung menyendiri dan menunjukkan keasyikan pada dunianya serta kontak mata yang minim sehingga terlihat tidak fokus pada lingkungan sosial di sekitarnya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Differentiated Learning in institutions, especially those that have students with special needs for speech delay. This research is qualitative research with a case study type for collecting data using observation, interviews, and scrutiny of documents. The data collected is then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model techniques, namely through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The research was conducted at the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten in Sleman Regency, Special Province of Yogyakarta. The results of the research show: 1) the mechanism for organizing Differentiated Learning in the institution has yet to be carried out under the differentiated learning guideline procedures. 2) Differentiated Learning material delivered is considered necessary while handling the reactions of children with speech delay needs is limited to providing stimulation in the form of speaking training to children with these obstacles. 3) the implementation of integrating Differentiated Learning into the curriculum and learning implementation plan documents and an assessment of Differentiated Learning has yet to be carried out. The Effectiveness of Differentiated Learning has yet to be carried out effectively. It is evidenced by students who are not entirely comfortable in learning, improving skills in terms of hard and soft skills that are not evenly distributed among all children, and the lack of ability to self-reflect, especially for students with speech delay disorders. However, the results of the study indicate that there have been efforts by institutions to apply differentiated learning in learning activities, especially for students with speech delay disorders or barriers.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi pada lembaga khususnya yang memiliki siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus speech delay. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Penggalian data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan pencermatan dokumen. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik model Miles dan Huberman, yaitu melalui proses reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian dilakukan pada  lembaga Taman Kanak-Kanak Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal, yang bertempat di Kabupaten Sleman Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) mekanisme penyelenggaraan Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi di satuan/lembaga belum terlaksana sesuai dengan prosedur pedoman pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. 2) materi Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi yang disampaikan merupakan poin – poin yang dianggap penting, adapun penangan terhadap reaksi anak yang memiliki kebutuhan speech delay dilakukan sebatas memberi stimulasi berupa pelatihan berbicara kepada anak yang memiliki hambatan tersebut. 3) pelaksanaan pengintegrasian Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi dalam kurikulum dan dokumen rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran serta penilaian terhadap Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi belum dilakukan. Efektivitas Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi belum terlaksana secara efektif. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan siswa yang belum seluruhnya merasa nyaman dalam belajar, peningkatan keterampilan baik segi hard skill atau softskill yang belum merata pada keseluruhan anak, dan belum adanya kemampuan merefleksikan diri terkhusus pada siswa dengan gangguan speech delay. Namun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa telah ada upaya dari lembaga untuk menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran terkhusus untuk siswa dengan gangguan atau hambatan speech delay.

Abstract

Early reading is essential for children aged 5-6 years. In implementing the Merdeka curriculum, early reading skills are not the main domain in the learning process. However, the unique thing is that students in the Merdeka curriculum can understand and apply their age-appropriate early reading skills as applied in one of the early childhood institutions in Yogyakarta. This study aims to identify and describe the implementation of a Merdeka curriculum-based early reading ability strategy. This study uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. The subjects are kindergarten teachers and students. Data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation techniques which were analyzed using data reduction, display, and verification. The study results show that students' early reading skills have developed well and are under age stages. Children can recognize, classify, and understand letters in a word and read. It is supported by various strategies that emphasize the recognition of meaningful letters. Among them are word trains, identifying letters and words in storybooks on literacy topics, introducing words through adjustments to literacy topics, spelling names using songs, making name tags on objects, writing personal names and project names, and house letters.     Abstrak Kemampuan membaca awal merupakan kemampuan yang penting dimiliki oleh anak usia 5-6 tahun. Pada penerapan kurikulum Merdeka, kemampuan membaca awal tidak menjadi domain utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, uniknya peserta didik pada kurikulum Merdeka dapat memahami dan menerapkan kemampuan membaca awal sesuai usianya sebagaimana yang diterapkan di salah satu lembaga anak usia dini di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjabarkan implementasi strategi kemampuan membaca awal berbasis kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek adalah guru dan siswa taman kanak-kanak. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca awal peserta didik telah berkembang baik dan sesuai dengan tahapan usiannya. Anak dapat mengenali, mengelompokkkan, memahami huruf dalam sebuah kata, dan membaca sederhana. Hal tersebut didukung oleh berbagai strategi yang menekankan pada pengenalan huruf bermakna. Di antaranya kereta kata, mengidentifikasi huruf dan kata yang ada pada buku cerita topik literasi, mengenalkan kata melalui peneyesuaian dengan topik literasi, mengeja nama menggunakan lagu, membuat label nama pada benda, menulis nama diri dan nama proyek, dan rumah huruf.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between college activities and early childhood creativity in the Islamic Kindergarten of Asy Syifa, Cikancung District, Bandung Regency. The method used in this study is the correlation method with a quantitative approach, sampling techniques using saturated sampling techniques, data collection techniques using observation, and data analysis using statistical formulas. This research is motivated by preliminary studies conducted in the Islamic Kindergarten of Asy Syifa that children's creativity is still low, evidenced by the average value obtained is 2.3, which is in the range of 1.75-2.49, which is interpreted to begin to develop. The activity that has been running in the learning process in the Islamic Kindergarten of Asy Syifa to train children's creativity is collage. Based on the analysis of college activity data obtained, an average value of 74.15 is categorized as good. Early childhood creativity obtained an average value of 2.78, categorized as developing according to expectations. Then the value of thing = 25.52 > table = 2.160 at a significant level of 5% interpreted Ho rejected, and Ha accepted means there is a significant relationship between college activities and early childhood creativity in the Islamic Kindergarten of Asy Syifa. It obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.99, which is interpreted as very strong. The contribution of collage activities to early childhood creativity was 98%, and other factors influenced 2%.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kegiatan membuat kolase dengan kreativitas anak usia dini di Raudhatul Athfal Asy Syifa yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Bandung, Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dan analisis data menggunakan rumus statistik. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan di Raudhatul Athfal Asy Syifa bahwa kreativitas anak masih rendah, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 2,3 yang berada pada rentang 1,75 - 2,49 yang ditafsirkan Mulai Berkembang. Kegiatan yang berjalan dalam proses pembelajaran di Raudhatul Athfal Asy Syifa untuk melatih kreativitas anak adalah kolase. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, kegiatan kolase memperoleh nilai rata-rata 74,15, dikategorikan Baik. Kreativitas anak usia dini memperoleh nilai rata-rata 2,78, dikategorikan Berkembang Sesuai Harapan. Kemudian nilai thitung = 25,52 > ttabel = 2,160 pada taraf signifikan 5% yang diinterpretasikan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kegiatan kolase dengan kreativitas anak usia dini di Raudhatul Athfal Asy Syifa. Diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,99 yang diinterpretasikan sangat kuat. Kontribusi kegiatan kolase terhadap kreativitas anak usia dini di Raudhatul Athfal Asy Syifa sebesar 98%, dan faktor lain mempengaruhi sebesar 2%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of natural media materials on early childhood learning motivation. The indicators of learning motivation observed were full of enthusiasm, self-confidence, and high concentration power. This study used observation, interview, and documentation methods with data analysis techniques, the Miles and Huberman models. The results showed that the use of natural materials such as turmeric, cherry leaves, rice, pebbles, and banana stems as media in early childhood learning can motivate children to carry out learning activities.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan media bahan alam terhadap motivasi belajar anak usia dini. Indikator motivasi belajar yang diamati adalah penuh semangat, rasa percaya diri, dan daya konsentrasi yang tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan teknik analisis data  model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahan-bahan alami seperti kunyit, daun kersen, beras, batu kerikil, dan pelepah pisang sebagai media dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini dapat membuat anak termotivasi untuk melakukan aktivitas belajar.
