Abstract

This research discusses library strategies in improving the image of the Sutan Tagor Mulia Padangsidimpuan Library. The goal of this research is to find out how library strategies can enhance the image of the Sutan Tagor Mulia Padangsidimpuan Library. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this research are librarians at the Sutan Tagor Mulia Padangsidimpuan Library. The results show that the librarians at the Sutan Tagor Mulia Padangsidimpuan Library implement image enhancement strategies, such as: a) Optimizing services, b) Conducting socialization, c) Arranging reading spaces, and d) Developing collection materials. The librarians' strategies in improving the library's image aim to enhance the quality of the library and receive positive feedback from visitors at the Sutan Tagor Mulia Padangsidimpuan Library.

Abstract

A greenhouse is a structure where plants are grown using agricultural techniques in an environment where the climate can be managed. The aim of research on a prototype smart greenhouse monitoring system based on the internet of things (IoT) is to create a tool that makes it easier for farmers to monitor plants without having to physically visit the greenhouse. Power supply, ESP32, soil pH sensor, capacitive soil moisture sensor, DHT22 sensor, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, relay, LCD, and water pump are some of the electronic components used in this smart greenhouse system. By using sensor data and microcontroller commands to read soil pH, soil moisture, water availability, temperature and air humidity, the Smart Greenhouse Monitoring System was successfully operated. For example, the soil humidity sensor measures soil humidity if <40% the water pump will turn on. The room temperature and humidity sensor measures if the temperature is >33 °C and the room humidity is <40% then the water pump will turn on. The Ultrasonic Sensor detects the level of water availability with a limit of <10cm and will provide a notification as a warning that the water supply will run out. To manage the smart greenhouse output devices and display data on the LCD and Blynk, logic operators are used to process all data received from the devices.

Abstract

Self-confidence is confidence in the abilities possessed by individuals so that individuals are able to achieve what they want. Each individual has a different level of self-confidence, which is usually influenced by the extent of the acceptance of the surrounding environment to each individual.The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the effect of body shaming and the intensity of peer interaction on the self-confidence of young women in Paninggaran District, Pekalongan Regency. The sample in this study was 227 young women in Paninggaran District, Pekalongan Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used in this research is incidental sampling technique. The measurement tools for this study consisted of a body shaming scale, a scale of peer interaction intensity and a self-confidence scale. The data analysis method in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that body shaming has a significant effect on self-confidence with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Meanwhile, the intensity of peer interaction has a significant effect on self-confidence with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Then there is the effect of body shaming and the intensity of peer interaction on the self-confidence of young women (adj r square 0.455, p = 0.000 <0.05). That is, the higher the body shaming and the intensity of peer interaction, the lower the self-confidence and vice versa.

Abstract

Dakwah about tauhid has an important role in understanding the beliefs and understanding of the religion of the Muslim. In today's digital age, online platforms like YouTube have become a significant means of spreading the message to a large audience. The study aims to measure the effectiveness of the outreach of Tauhid through the YouTube channel Adi Hidayat Official. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. The data was collected through observations of the content of the news feeds delivered through the YouTube channel as well as interviews with viewers to understand the impact of such news on their understanding of tauhid. The results of this research are expected to provide an insight into the extent to which YouTube news can be effective in disseminating the understanding of Tauhid to the wider public.

Abstract

The generator converts mechanical power into electrical power because the wire coil inside cuts the magnetic force, causing a voltage and generating an electric current through a cable connected to a sliding ring as the connecting terminal for the current to discharge. Because the high temperatur of the cooling system is caused by dirty tubes in the Fresh Water Cooler and leaking seawater pipes leading to the seawater pump. For this reason, the generator cooling system must always be maintained routinely so that it does not experience problems, especially when the generator engine is started with a temperatur of not more than 85° C. Generator cooling system maintenance. The subject that is the focus of this research is the selection of data sources for analysis of the causes of high coolant temperaturs in diesel generator motors aboard the MT.TY. The results of the research The temperatur calculations were carried out from 14 to 20 June 2023 that the efficiency of the generator was positive at 7.69% which was good from 14 June 2023 08-12 until 17 June 2023 16-20. This shows that the generator is working well and needs to be stabilized, as well as a positive water cooling efficiency of 13.54%. This shows that with a water debit of 3 L/m it functions properly and does not need maintenance, and the decrease in seawater cooling pressure entering the Water Fresh Water Cooler can be caused by a dirty filter or a drop in pump pressure, which can increase the engine cooling water temperatur. master on board.

Abstract

Library services are the main gateway for library progress, every service provider is obliged to strive to provide the best quality services to the users who come to the library. Therefore, providing library services that are more efficient in terms of time and energy is the main determining factor in service quality from the user's point of view. The aim of this research is to find out what the quality of service is based on a review of measurements using the LibQual+TM method in the library. This research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The population in this study are students who are still actively visiting the Main Potential University library. Data collection techniques are observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The conclusion of this research is that the analysis of the quality of the Main Potential library services shows mixed results in several dimensions. In the Affect of Service dimension, users feel quite satisfied with the trustworthiness, polite behavior and reliability of librarians. However, there is dissatisfaction regarding officers' understanding of user needs and responses to questions or concerns. Furthermore, in the Information Control dimension, users assess access to information as inadequate with a low score on the Gap Analysis (AG). Although, they are quite satisfied in searching for information through journals and book collections, there is dissatisfaction regarding access to online information which is also reflected in the Superiority Gap (SG) Analysis. In the Library as Place dimension, users feel quite satisfied with the library facilities and comfortable place. Even though the strategic location and group study area in the library got a low score on the Gap Analysis, users still felt quite satisfied. However, the Superiority Gap Analysis shows dissatisfaction regarding library infrastructure services. Overall, the Adequacy Gap (AG) analysis shows a positive score of 0.48, meaning that the quality of services provided has exceeded the minimum expectations of Main Potential library users/visitors. So, visitors are "quite satisfied" with the quality of existing Main Potential library services. Superiority Gap (SG) analysis shows a negative score of -2.44, meaning that the service quality is rated as "Good", within the tolerance limits, where the service quality is between the minimum acceptable level.

Abstract

In the process of interpreting the Al-Qur’an, interpretive scholars mobilize their spiritual energy so that all levels of society can understand the Al-Qur’an. A very important approach in understanding the Al-Qur’an is the linguistic approach or what is known as Lugawi interpretation. Lugawi interpretation is needed to understand the Al-Qur'an. Apart from using the Arabic Al-Qur’an which is full of literature, balaghah, fashahaha, gender, parables and rhetoric, the Al-Qur'an also appeared in the heyday of poetry and linguistics. During the first days of Islam, some people embraced Islam simply because of their love of the language and eloquence of the Koran. In this journal, we will examine the interpretation of the Koran using Lugawi's strategy.

Abstract

Aligned with technological advancements, digital-based financial services have undergone development, leading to continuous changes and innovations in online payment methods. Among these innovations is the emergence of electronic wallets, known as electronic wallet, (e-wallets) as a non-cash payment tool. Despite the benefits and conveniences offered, e-wallets are vulnerable to internet criminal activity that concerns users. However, e-wallets are noted as the most popular payment method in Indonesia, constituting 81% of transactions. This research aims to analyze the variables of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived risk in the intention to use e-wallets among e-wallet users. The research specifically chose e-wallet users aged at least 17 with a minimum monthly income of Rp 2 million as subjects. The research uses primary data, which is collected through the distribution of digital questionnaires using convenience sampling followed by snowball sampling methods, as well as simple random sampling. Data from 114 respondents is collected and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research results show that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use influence e-wallet users' intention to use e-wallets, while perceived risk does not influence e-wallet users' intention. The implication of this research is that e-wallet service providers are expected to provide e-wallets that offer significant added value to users' lives and are user-friendly, thereby fostering users' intention to use e-wallets.

Abstract

This research discusses the existence of non-celebrity celebrities in the city of Bandung in building personal branding via Instagram. The concept of one's own existence is closely related to the human desire to understand the meaning of life and it is believed that no individual or entity can provide an understanding of one's purpose in life. In this research, existence is seen from the perspective of society in using social media, with a focus on Instagram as a platform for building personal branding. This research aims to find out how non-celebrity celebrities in the city of Bandung form strong and sustainable personal branding through the use of Instagram. This research uses a constructivist paradigm with descriptive qualitative research methods. Data was collected through interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling method with the criteria of non-celebrity celebrities and followers in the city of Bandung. The results of this research show that non-celebrity celebrities in the city of Bandung use Instagram as a personal branding tool in forming their self-image, with different strategies from one celebrity to another

Abstract

This study investigates teenagers’ consumptive behavior in purchasing shoes at Podomoro Mal Medan. Through a qualitative approach with a case study design, data was collected through interviews with a teenage shoe collection enthusiast and a shoe seller at the Reebok store in the mal. The interview results revealed that the main motivations for purchasing shoes by teenagers are to increase self-confidence and fulfill social needs in a peer environment. Peer influence and fashion trends also influence teenagers’ shoe purchasing patterns. In addition, the existence of shopping centers that offer various brands and products is also an important factor in shaping teenagers’ consumptive behavior. This research highlights the complexity of the phenomenon of adolescent consumptive behavior and emphasizes the importance of developing a holistic approach in managing its impact.
