Abstract

This study aims to analyze online fraud crimes in the group order (GO) system that occurs among K-Pop fans, focusing on how perpetrators build consumer trust and take advantage of opportunities in the online transaction system. Through a qualitative approach and case studies, this study found that perpetrators intentionally create trust in consumers through friendly and responsive communication. This case is often found in the K-pop fan community, where perpetrators, who are generally still in school, build trust through open promotions on social media and relaxed and responsive communication. Over time, perpetrators begin to reduce interaction and lack transparency until they finally disappear after the funds are collected. These findings are analyzed using routine activity theory, which emphasizes that crime occurs because perpetrators are motivated by appropriate consumers without supervision that can prevent crime. In this context, a weak pre-order system, lack of consumer education, and limited supervision from the authorities play a role as driving factors for crime.

Abstract

This study analyzes image design works generated by ChatGPT's visual capabilities, specifically in mimicking the artistic style of Studio Ghibli, from the perspective of copyright law and Islamic business ethics. The primary focus of this research is to evaluate whether the use of a distinctive visual style by artificial intelligence constitutes a copyright infringement, and to assess its ethical implications within the framework of Islamic business principles such as justice, honesty, and the prohibition of harm to others. This research employs a qualitative approach, normative and with descriptive analysis of selected AI-generated artworks, compared against intellectual property theories and Islamic muamalah principles. The findings indicate a legal ambiguity regarding the protection of visual styles under copyright law, as well as ethical dilemmas related to the exploitation of artistic works without proper permission or appreciation for the original creators. The study recommends the development of clearer regulations and ethical guidelines concerning AI usage in the creative industry to ensure compliance with justice and integrity as upheld in Islamic business ethics.

Abstract

Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 marks a profound strategic shift towards economic diversification, with the esports sector identified as a key growth driver. This study analyzes Saudi Arabia's ambition to become an international esports hub through the lens of Simon Anholt's Competitive Identity theory, encompassing six dimensions: Tourism, Export Brands, Policy, Investment, Culture, and People. Utilizing relevant data, the research demonstrates how Vision 2030 initiatives systematically align with each dimension, shaping Saudi Arabia's global image as a modern, innovative, and dynamic nation. The analysis reveals a coordinated and massively funded approach to building a sustainable esports ecosystem, attracting investment, developing local talent, and projecting a new national identity. While challenges related to perception and sustainability persist, findings suggest that Saudi Arabia's esports strategy is an integral component of a broader nation branding effort, aiming to enhance its global influence and competitiveness on the world stage.

Abstract

The problem frequently encountered today is regarding morality, ethics, behavior, and character of students occurring in both educational institutions and family environments. Although character education has been promoted through various policies, in practice there are still many students who do not demonstrate honest behavior. This study aims to analyze the need for developing a character education strengthening module based on the stories of prophets and messengers for phase B students using the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ASSURE development model, which consists of six stages: (1) Analyze Learners (analyzing student characteristics), (2) State Objectives (determining learning objectives), (3) Select Methods, Media, and Materials, (4) Utilize Media and Materials, (5) Require Learner Participation, and (6) Evaluate and Revise. Data were collected through literature studies, interviews with educators, feasibility testing of the module with experts, and trials of the module with students and teachers. The results of the study show that the development of the character education strengthening module on honesty based on the stories of prophets for phase B students began with analyzing learners; in the first stage, the researcher analyzed the identification of students' needs in understanding the concept of honesty, including an analysis of the learning situation, analysis of general student character, and analysis of basic competencies. The second stage is to state objectives, where the researcher conducted an analysis of the curriculum used in the school. The third stage is to select methods, media, and materials. At this stage, the researcher selects the methods according to the students' learning styles in school. The fourth stage is to utilize media and materials, which involves the use of modules by both teachers and students. The fifth stage is to require learner participation, which involves the participation of students in learning activities. Finally, there is evaluate and revise, at this stage, which involves evaluating and revising the modules. The results of this research showed that the validation from material experts was 90%, language experts 77.08%, and design experts 97.32%, with a percentage value in the 'Very Feasible' category. Thus, the character education strengthening module on honesty is very feasible to use. The conclusion of this research is that the honesty character education strengthening module based on the stories of prophets and messengers can serve as an effective learning medium in instilling the value of honesty in Phase B students. The recommendations from this study include further development of modules with more interactive delivery methods and integration with digital technology to enhance the appeal and effectiveness of learning.

Abstract

The enactment of the Manpower Law is a government commitment to protecting workers in Indonesia. In the law, labor exploitation is prohibited, as stated in Article 68, Article 74, and Article 81. In reality, labor exploitation, especially in the F&B industry, still occurs, this can be seen in the case that occurred at company X in Surabaya. The purpose of this study is to examine the form such exploitation. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing Karl Marx conflict theory for analysis and reviewing the issue from a legal perspective based on Law Number 13 of 2003 Concerning Manpower. The Study adopts a case study format, with data collected thriugh observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the form of labor exploitation that occurs at company X is carried out in the form of employing workers outside the specified working hours, not paying basic wages and overtime wages, imposing harsh treatment on workers, and withholding diplomas and ID cards belonging to workers, all of which violate the Manpower Law. The impacts caused by labor exploitation in company X include psychological stress, trauma, and fear of re-exploitation by the company.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how players of Ayodance Mobile Indonesia build personal branding through avatars in the virtual world. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis reveals that personal branding of avatars is based on various functions and purposes among players, focusing on attractive visual appearance and gaming skills. Players have the freedom to customize their avatar identities without using their real identities. Instagram plays an important role in strengthening personal branding by sharing visual content of avatars. Additionally, the Luxes community acts as a support system in the process of forming virtual identities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the role of the principal as an entrepreneur in increasing the number of students in SMA Swasta Cerdas Murni. Specifically, this study aims to explain the form of managerial innovation and superior programs developed by the principal to improve school competitiveness, analyze external partnerships that build the principal as part of the strategy to increase the number of students, and control risks to increase the number of education students. This research method uses a qualitative approach of the case study type with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The main respondents are the principal and vice principal who have several strategies in developing and the ability to increase the number of students in SMA Swasta Cerdas Murni. The results of the study indicate that the principal as an entrepreneur has a significant role in increasing the number of students in SMA Swasta Cerdas Murni. They show initiative by developing superior programs, collaborating with external parties, and compiling learning programs each year. The creativity of the principal is manifested in efforts to improve the quality of education and the attractiveness of prospective new students. However, the challenges faced by the principal in increasing the number of students include limited resources and competitiveness to other private schools. Therefore, this study recommends the need for support from the community and the school in supporting the principal to increase the number of students in SMA Swasta Cerdas Murni.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teacher role models in internalizing the values ​​of character education of discipline and responsibility to students at SMP Wahid Hasyim Sumberwudi. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection methods through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The subjects of the study included the principal and teachers. The results of the study indicate that teacher role models are a key factor in shaping students' character. Teachers not only convey the values ​​of discipline and responsibility verbally, but also provide concrete examples in everyday life in the school environment. Internalization of these values ​​takes place through routine interactions between teachers and students, consistent application of rules, and positive behavioral habits. This study concludes that teacher role models have a significant influence in shaping students' character of discipline and responsibility, so it is important for schools to continue to encourage a culture of role models as part of a character education strategy.

Abstract

The degree of quality of an individual's religion is significantly influenced by the value of monotheistic. In the life of a Muslim, this is undeniable; students are not an exception. Many students nowadays ignore religious issues, which obviously have a significant influence on their future lives. In order to address this, Islamic boarding schools use Sayyid Ahmad Marzuqi's book Aqidatul Awam to teach students the importance of monotheism in a more thorough manner. Aqidatul Awam's book This book serves as a foundation for understanding the importance of monotheism for lay people. This study aims to investigate further how the value of monotheistic may raise a student's degree of faith, demonstrating that real monotheism can result in a better life than the one before it. Researchers employed qualitative research techniques in its implementation. A more sophisticated approach is the qualitative research method. Prioritize meaning and process over outcomes. In order to gather data, the researcher employed the triangulation methodology, which combines documentation, interviewing, and observation methods. The kind of strategy The Tanwirul Qulub Islamic Boarding School served as the site of the case study research project. Inductive data analysis, which adheres to Miles and Huberman's ideas, is used in this study. The outcomes show that the book Aqidatul Awam's teachings on the need for monotheism may strengthen a person's faith, which in turn has a significant impact on a student's belief in divinity, particularly at Tanwirul Qulub Islamic Boarding School in Lamongan.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the influence of education and traning of the profesionalism of teachers at Madrasa Aliyah Srikandi Al-Ibrahim Bassiang Timur. The researce design uset was quantitative. The subjects of this study were all teachers at Madrasa Aliya Srikandi Al-Ibrahim Bassiang Timur, totaling 30 people. The data collection technique usetin this study was a survey with anin strument in the from of aquestionnaire. The data analysis methode uset was simple linear regression analaysis. The results of this study indicate that education and traning heve an effect on the professionalism of teachers at Madarsa Aliya Srikandi Al-Ibrahim Bassiang Timur.
