Abstract

Some madrasas are considered to be of lower quality and less desirable, while other madrasas are competitive and increasingly in demand. One factor that differentiates between the two is the implementation of strategic management in madrasas. This article presents the results of research at two madrasas, namely Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Plus Andalusia Qur'anic School which is relatively high quality and is popular with many students, and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Amanah which is less popular. This research aims to determine and discuss the implementation of strategic management in the two Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, due to the presence or absence of strategic management and the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing strategic management. The research results show that there is a gradation in the existence of strategic management documents in the two madrasas, from those that are relatively complete to documents that have not been completely written. Madrassas that have more complete strategic management documents produce better quality and public interest compared to madrassas that do not have good strategic management documents. In choosing a madrasa, factors such as the number of students and teachers, facilities, study costs, and individual preferences greatly influence the decisions of parents and students. The limitations of this paper lie in its deeper focus on the comparison between the two madrasas in terms of official documentation, facilities, and tuition fees. This article does not provide an in-depth picture of the quality of graduates and academic results from the two madrasas. Therefore, it can further be enriched by providing further insight into teaching methods, curriculum, or academic achievement to provide a more complete picture of the educational options available.

Abstract

Religious philosophy and Islamic education are two fields that are interrelated and have a strong influence on shaping the worldview and values of Muslim society. The relationship between religious philosophy and Islamic education is very close. Religious philosophy provides a deep rationale for religious teachings, while Islamic education aims to transfer this understanding to future generations. Through Islamic education, students are given the opportunity to reflect on and understand the concepts of religious philosophy in real-life contexts. Learning the Islamic religion in public universities has an important role in shaping the character and spiritual depth of students. One approach that can be used to achieve this goal is the implementation of religious philosophy in Islamic religious learning. The implementation of religious philosophy in Islamic religious learning can help students understand religious teachings holistically. This can be done by studying sacred texts, religious traditions, and the thoughts of religious figures critically and in depth. In this way, students can develop a more comprehensive understanding of religious teachings and how these teachings can be applied in everyday life.

In Islam, believers are advised to become leaders in accordance with the principles outlined in the teachings of the Islamic faith, leading towards Islamic Leadership (Kepemimpinan Islami). Islamic leadership represents a balance between leadership in the worldly and hereafter context, where the responsibilities of leadership extend not only to the members but also in the sight of Allah SWT.Allah has sent a Messenger, Prophet Muhammad SAW, as an exemplary model for the Islamic community to follow in practicing Islamic Leadership. In this context, a leader is expected not only to perform their duties effectively within the organizational sphere but also to uphold moral and spiritual responsibilities in the presence of Allah SWT. Therefore, this article encourages a deeper understanding and application of Islamic Leadership principles to shape organizations that are both integral and morally upright.
