Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the impact of listening to music while jogging. The method used in this research is a Causal Comparative research design. Where the sample population in this study was sports students, totaling 100 people and divided into two groups, namely a group that was given treatment and one group that did not receive treatment and functioned as a control or comparison group. The mood instrument used is The Brunnel Mood Scale (BRUMS) developed by Peter C Terry (2010). From the results of the Independent sample t-test, the resulting p-value is 0.00, this value is smaller than the significance level of 0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the Mood value of listening to music and those who don't listen to music.

Abstract

Notaries have an important task in providing legal services to the public, particularly regarding the making of authentic deeds. The determination of minimum service rates for notaries by the Indonesian Notary Association (INI) is regulated in the Notary Code of Ethics with the aim of preventing unfair competition and protecting the rights of notaries. This research aims to analyze the form of the agreement on the determination of minimum service rates for notaries, evaluate the role of INI in determining these rates, and examine the legal consequences of violations of the minimum rate determination. This is a qualitative research with a single case study approach in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency, South Kalimantan. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with notaries, clients, and other related parties, observations at notary offices, and studies of relevant documents. The determination of minimum rates by INI is carried out through a mechanism of study and evaluation by the INI Regional Administrators which is submitted to the INI Central Administrators to be determined nationally. This determination is a form of agreement that binds all INI members. Violations can be subject to sanctions from the INI organization as well as administrative sanctions from the Notary Supervisory Board. Obstacles in implementing the minimum rates include differences in operational costs between regions, resistance from notaries, weak monitoring and law enforcement, and a lack of flexibility in facing changing economic conditions. Efforts that can be made include determining varying rates, socialization and education, forming a supervisory body, a mechanism for rate adjustments, and maintaining a balance with consumer protection.

Abstract

The role of parents in a child's psychological and mental development is very important. However, in some cases, this role may be lost or reduced, which will have an impact on the child's psychological and mental state. In this context, the loss of parental roles may occur for various reasons, such as divorce, death, economic or other conditions that result in parents being unable to fulfill their roles fully. In many cases, this leads to children feeling deprived of attention, protection and affection from their parents. This study focuses on "Emerging Adulthood", the transition phase from adolescence to adulthood, where individuals undergo major changes in various aspects of their lives. This study aims to understand the impact of the loss of parental role in this phase to provide in-depth insights based on individual experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of green accounting, material flow cost accounting, and company size on company performance which is moderated by company value. The type of research used is secondary data quantitative research with a population of manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022. The total sample amounted to 86 using purposive sampling method from financial report data or annual reports available on the Indonesia Stock Exchange or on the relevant company website. The data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis and moderated regression analysis (MRA). Company performance is proxied by return on assets (ROA). The results showed that green accounting, material flow cost accounting (MFCA), and company size had an effect on company performance. On the other hand, the fourth, fifth, and sixth hypotheses of firm value were unable to moderate the influence between green accounting, material flow cost accounting (MFCA), and company size on company performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using zoom meeting learning media on student learning outcomes in the Informatics subject class X. The research method used is quantitative method, with data analysis using simple correlation techniques and regression analysis. The results showed a significance value of 0.003 <0.05, meaning that there was a relationship and the Person Correlation was 0.326, the value of r Square of 0.107 means 10.7% of the dependent variable, the value of t count is 3.049 > 2.00 with a significance of 0.003 < 0.05 meaning H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so that it can be seen that there is an effect of using zoom meeting learning media on the learning outcomes of class X students in informatics subjects.

Abstract

The community service work programme in Pekan Seruway Village carried out by group 3 from the UINSU Campus, Department of Tadris English, which carried out several activities to develop basic English for school children and also carried out several activities with the Seruway Village community. As for some of the activities, namely: EFL (English Fun Learning) which is learning English by playing games with the theme of vocabulary in English with the intention of honing the skills of children at SMP N 1 Seruway, The process of teaching basic English such as adding vocabulary, ice breaking, how to pronounce each vocabulary greetings and also introductions, Workshop with ibu datuk which discusses Pekan Seruway Village, Seminars with the theme of introducing the UINSU campus discussing each department and faculty, Hydroponics, English Film Review, Handicraft which is handicraft for junior high school children, Tadarus with the children of the Pekan Seruway village community, Healthy Life which is afternoon exercise and Studies or conducting Muharram activities with the community and male students of Al-Fuad pesantren. This Work or Service Programme is not only focused on one goal but we also build a family to approach the surrounding community.

Abstract

Dating violence can manifest in various forms, including silent treatment, threats of breakup, physical violence, and demeaning behaviour, which negatively impact the emotional and physical well-being of victims. Conflicts in relationships are often triggered by jealousy, excessive control, and disagreements, which undermine trust and create an unhealthy environment. Psychological violence such as silent treatment and threats of breakup causes deep emotional stress, while physical violence like hitting has direct effects on the victim's body.Individuals use coping strategies to manage stress in relationships, with approaches including emotion-focused coping, such as apologising and maintaining distance, and problem-focused coping, such as self-care and open communication. Understanding what constitutes a healthy relationship is crucial, encompassing two-way communication, openness, commitment, and respect for personal boundaries to create a safe and respectful relationship.Support from social and family environments plays a crucial role in helping victims endure abusive relationships. Emotional support, constructive advice, and encouragement to seek professional help can reduce stress and improve emotional well-being, and are key factors in the recovery process for victims.

Abstract

Muara Gembong sub-district has a high level of suitability for seaweed cultivation because it is included in the category of areas with high salinity, currents, and sufficient substart. The people of Muara Gembong sub-district use it as a place to cultivate the seaweed species Gracilaria sp. The purpose of this service is to increase community knowledge and skills in utilizing seaweed as a facial skin beauty mask. The method used was counseling to teachers and guardians of SDN 03 Pantai Mekar students. The training was attended by 8 teachers and 5 student guardians. Evaluation was carried out to measure the satisfaction of service activities using a questionnaire containing 4 indicators, namely quality and productivity, material, instructor, and satisfaction. The overall results showed that 77% of participants were very satisfied with the service activities, and 23% were satisfied. It can be concluded that the participants were very satisfied with the service activities carried out by the lecturers of the Cosmetics and Beauty Care Study Program.

Abstract

This research aims to examine Kiai's spiritual leadership in an effort to improve the character of students. Using a qualitative approach, this research analyzes Kiai's role as a role model, spiritual guide, and motivator in shaping the character of students who are religious, have noble character, and achieve. The research results show that Kiai's spiritual leadership characteristics always adhere to the Vision and Mission in making decisions, carry out organizational culture by forming integration through comprehensive care and attention, forming a religious personality. Meanwhile, the spiritual leadership strategy is to generate a feeling of gratitude, provide motivation and invite synergy in running the organization in Islamic boarding schools. So that this spiritual leadership is effective and can create a learning environment that is conducive to the character growth of students. Effective leadership does not only depend on intelligence or technical skills, but also on the moral qualities of the leader himself and it is easier to build strong and trusting relationships with subordinates, colleagues and the community he leads.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out: 1) Describe the social life of female characters in the novel Melangkah by J.S. Khairen. 2) To describe the forms of struggle of female characters in the novel Melangkah by J.S. Khairen. 3) To describe the factors that influence the struggle of female characters in the novel Melangkah by J.S. Khairen. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method. This research is included in post-modern feminism. As for this study, researchers analyzed the form of struggle of female characters which is divided into 3, namely: willing to sacrifice, never give up, and resistance. Meanwhile, the struggle factors are divided into 4 parts: family, friends, love for the country, and culture. The female characters in the analyzed novel are Aura, Siti, and Ocha. From the results of this study, it can be found that the social life of female characters in the novel Melangkah by J.S. Khairen is 15 in the character Aura, 4 in the character Siti, and 2 in the character Ocha. The form of struggle for female characters in the novel Melangkah by J.S. Khairen is 15 for Aura, 2 for Siti, and 3 for Ocha. There are 20 findings on the struggle factors of female characters in the novel Melangkah by J.S. Khairen, namely: family 1, friends 7, love for the country 10, and culture 2.
