Abstract

Low spiritual quotient is increasingly observed among teenagers, including at SMA IT Al-Madinah. Even though the school has a sufficient curriculum and facilities, however, the quality of learning of Islamic religious education subject is crucial for enhacing students’ spiritual quotient. This study aims to assess the quality of learning, the level of spiritual quotient and the influence learning of Islamic religious education subjects on students' spiritual quotient in class XI at SMA IT Al-Madinah. The research employs a quantitative survey method with data collection through questionnaires. Data analysis includes validity and reliability tests, followed by normality and homogeneity tests, and finally hypothesis testing using simple linear regression. The results indicate that: (1) The quality of Islamic religious education subject learning is categorized as fairly good, with an interval range of 62.442 ≤ Xi < 73.158, meaning 50 out of 71 respondents, or 70.4%, rated it positively. (2) The level of students' spiritual quotient in class XI falls within an interval range of 56.920 ≤ Xi < 67.160, indicating that 52 out of 71 respondents, or 73.2%, are in the moderate category. (3) Simple linear regression testing shows a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 with an R Square value of 0.332, indicating that The Influence of Learning of Islamic Religious Education Subject on The Spiritual Quotient of Grade XI Students at SMA IT Al-Madinah by 33,2%.

Abstract

This research analyzes the roles and duties of Badan Penasihatan Pembinaan dan Pelestarian Perkawinan (BP4) in fostering families, with a case study focus on the Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) Bogor Selatan. BP4, under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, was established to reduce the high divorce rate in Indonesia. The objective of this research is to understand how BP4 performs its roles and duties in fostering families at the KUA Bogor Selatan and to identify the challenges it faces. The research employs a qualitative approach with field study. Data were collected through BP4 Musyawarah Nasional (MUNAS), observations, in-depth interviews with relevant parties at the KUA Bogor Selatan, documentation, and literature studies. The research findings show that BP4 at the KUA Bogor Selatan carries out its roles and duties in providing pre-marital guidance and helping to resolve family conflicts according to the provisions of the BP4 XVI MUNAS in 2019. However, BP4 has not been fully optimal in mediating couples seeking divorce due to a lack of coordination with the Religious Court. In conclusion, the implementation of BP4's roles and duties at the KUA Bogor Selatan has not been optimal because there are still roles and duties in the provisions of the XVI National Meeting in 2019 that have not been realized. This research is expected to contribute to the development of policies and practices for family guidance at the KUA Bogor Selatan.

Abstract

Neglected people and beggars are one of the important social welfare problems (PMKS) that need to be addressed because the number of abandoned people and homeless beggars in Tangerang City is quite large and continues to increase and really needs support and assistance from the government. The Tangerang City Social Service plays a role in meeting needs related to physical, psychological, social and economic aspects. The theoretical model used in this research is the Culip and Center communication planning theoretical model which has 4 stages, namely; Fact Finding, Planning and Programming, Taking Action and Communicating, Evaluating. The results of this research explain that the Tangerang City Social Service has 4 efforts to improve public services in taking care of neglected communities (beggars), namely: 1. Facilities in the form of accommodation for people who need social services, education or socialization efforts related to health problems, 2. Increasing awareness, motivation to become individuals who are more independent, efficient and socialize effectively, 3. Advocacy efforts by providing skills training according to their interests, aiming to increase productivity. 4. Technical efforts to meet the needs of refugees in terms of data collection.

Abstract

This research method uses a type of normative juridical research, namely research that refers to legal norms or principles by studying and researching problems using various literature in the form of library materials or secondary data. As explained above, this research is normative legal research. Research is a tool used by humans. Based on the type of data used, it is general and specific in nature and then a conclusion can be drawn. First research result: that the Notary professional organization does not have to be single because in the provisions of Article 82 paragraph (1) of Law Number 2 of 2014 concerning the Position of Notaries states "Notaries gather in one Notary organization". It is not interpreted as having to be single. Because the phrase "one" in the provisions of Article 82 paragraph (1) of Law Number 2 of 2014 concerning the Position of Notary Public can be interpreted as one organization whose number is neither singular nor plural. Second: Supervision of a single organization in organizational management is not optimal. Because there is a monopoly and there is also the aspirations of members which are often not conveyed or channeled. Because there is a dominant group in a single organization, a single organization does not have a healthy impact on the continuity of the life of the Notary profession.

Abstract

The mangrove ecosystem is an ecosystem that is located in a coastal area that is affected by the flooding of the sea so that the soil is always filled water. The study aims to examine the influence of student involvement on community participation in mangrove conservation in the Gading coral village. Public participation in conservation activities is crucial to the sustainability of such efforts. This research point uses a qualitative approach to understanding in depth the influence of student KKN UMNAW involvement on the participation of the public in mangrove conservation in the Gading coral village. The result of this study indicate that students KKN UMNAW involvement contributes positively to increased public in the Gading coral Village.

Abstract

This research focuses on designing a web-based loan recording system for the Jati Mekar Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Sindanglaut Village. KWT Jati Mekar is an organization consisting of women farmers in Sindanglaut Village who have joined together to improve their welfare and productivity through various agricultural and economic activities.The main objective of the research is to develop a system that can increase efficiency and accuracy in recording group members' loans. The methodology used is the V-Model, which allows for structured and systematic system development through stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.This system is designed to facilitate the process of recording, monitoring, and reporting loans, as well as increasing transparency in the group's financial management. During the development process, blackbox testing was conducted to evaluate the system's functionality without examining the internal code structure. This testing focuses on the system's inputs and outputs, ensuring that each feature functions according to expected specifications.The research results show that the implementation of this web-based system can address problems that often occur in manual recording, such as inaccurate data and difficulties in tracking loan status. Blackbox testing verifies that the system can handle various usage scenarios correctly, including member data management, loan recording, and report generation.

Abstract

The role of mass media is crucial in shaping public opinion and disseminating information to the broader community. A harmonious relationship between organizations and the media, particularly through public relations, is essential for conveying a positive image and maintaining public trust. This study focuses on the role of the Public Relations Office of the Direktorat Jenderal Kekayaan Intelektual (DJKI) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) in building media relations with journalists, with a specific focus on journalists from SCTV. The study aims to identify the communication strategies employed by the DJKI’s Public Relations Office and evaluate the effectiveness and challenges faced in their interactions with the media. A qualitative research approach was used, including in-depth interviews and document analysis to gain insights from both DJKI’s PR officials and SCTV journalists. The findings indicate that the DJKI’s Public Relations Office employs various strategies to build and maintain positive relationships with journalists. These strategies include organizing press conferences, distributing press releases, and managing social media. However, the study also identifies several challenges, such as differences in response times, information gaps, and differing expectations between the PR team and journalists. The insights from this research provide valuable information for the DJKI’s Public Relations Office and other PR practitioners on effective media management. The recommendations are expected to enhance communication strategies and strengthen media relationships, ultimately helping to achieve institutional communication goals and improve public image.

Abstract

Judging from the Perbup or Tangerang Regent's regulation Number 12 of 2022 concerning the second amendment to Perbup Number 46 of 2018 concerning restrictions on the operational time for goods cars on roads in the Tangerang Regency area, namely that the operational time for goods transport vehicles (sand, stone, soil) is limited to 22.00 WIB until 05.00 WIB. However, transportation such as trucks carrying mounds of earth that are material for the construction process often violate operating hours. In running the transportation and freight system, such as land-laden trucks in Tangerang Regency, the Transportation Department plays an important role in organizing and managing transportation systems. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. The communication used by the Tangerang Regency Transportation Service is verbal, through the media, and symbolic communication. In terms of four important implications in Social Systems Theory, such as interdependence, openness, forms of analysis, and organizational adjustments or updates, the communication role of the Tangerang Regency Transportation Service in dealing with violations of land transportation operating hours has carried out these four important implications. This is appropriate and relevant to the Social Systems Theory used in this research.

Abstract

In people with mental disorders, the humanistic function is disrupted, so they don't want to relate and talk to other people. Decreased social skills make a person unable to interact effectively and unable to express negative or positive feelings. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of socialization group activity therapy on social skills and social interactions in patients with mental disorders. The research design used the Pre-Experimental One Group Pre-test-Post test which was conducted on 33 people with mental disorders who were taken using a total sampling technique. The intervention provided was in the form of socialization group activity therapy (TAKS). The research data was taken using socialization and social interaction observation sheets, then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of research on social skills before being given TAKS most (69.7%) were in the poor category, after being given TAKS most (66.7%) were in the good category. The results of research on social interaction skills before being given TAKS were mostly (75.8%) in the poor category, while after being given TAKS most (69.7%) were in the good category. The results of the Wilcoxon test (p=0.000) showed that there was an effect on social skills and social interaction after being given socialization group activity therapy. Socialization Group Activity Therapy can improve a person's social skills and social interaction because this therapy is carried out in stages which are divided into five sessions so that it can make the patient open up to other people.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of biology education in fostering the character of students and communities in Islamic Boarding Schools in Banjarbaru City. The main focus of the research is on increasing environmental and health awareness through biology learning methods. The research methods used involved surveys, interviews, and observations of students and communities involved in the biology education program at the boarding school. The results showed that character building through biology education has a positive impact on environmental and health awareness. Students and the community became more aware of the importance of protecting the environment and had better knowledge of good health practices. In addition, this study also identified factors that support or hinder the implementation of biology education as a means of character building in a boarding school environment. The findings provide an important contribution to the development of character education in the boarding school environment, particularly through the implementation of biology education as a means to increase environmental and health awareness. The implications of this study can be used as a foundation for the improvement and development of character building programs in boarding schools and also as an inspiration for other educational institutions that want to integrate character values through special subjects such as biology.
