EduInovasi: Journal of Basic Educational Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, the  Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in February and Agust. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles on research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / MI / SD Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, educator professionalism, and research results. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The Journal kindly invites scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in the form of the contribution with articles to be published and disseminated through: the selection mechanism of the article, criticized by reviewer, and the editing process. Abstract

This research aims to understand the comprehension of foreign cultures through traditional dances, enhance students' competence, and shape character. Qualitative method was used with a case study at Darul Muhmin School. The results indicate that traditional dances shape students' understanding of cultural diversity, improve character, and assists students face global challenges. Integrating traditional dances into the curriculum contributes to shaping students' character to be open, tolerant, and ready to face global challenges. The role of teachers and curriculum planning is crucial in providing deep and relevant learning experiences for students, ensuring that cultural diversity becomes an integral part of this school.

Abstract

isheries extension is one of the efforts to increase productivity, business efficiency, income, and welfare for fish farmers. The learning process is carried out so that the main actors and fisheries business actors are willing and able to help and organize themselves in accessing market information, technology, capital, and other resources. Extension methods and media are two factors that influence the success of ornamental fish cultivation extension. The types of counseling methods that are usually carried out by fisheries extension agents in Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency are individual counseling, group counseling, and interviews. While the counseling media that are usually delivered such as broadcast, printed, and audible, This study aims to analyse the counselling methods and media used in ornamental fish cultivation counselling in Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency. Using path analysis with 90 respondents from ornamental fish cultivators in Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency. The results showed that the extension method has an influence of 33,5% on the success of ornamental fish farming, whereas group meetings are the type of extension method that has the highest correlation of 0,467 on the success of ornamental fish farming. While extension media has a 22,4% influence on the success of ornamental fish cultivation extension, broadcast media has a correlation of 0,428.

Abstract

Field trip is a teaching and learning method through visiting a place and using Indonesian as a comparison of the meaning of Tagalog itself. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. According to Mukhtar (2013: 10), the qualitative descriptive research method is a method used by researchers to find knowledge or theory regarding research at a certain time. From the percentage of words prepared by the students spoken, the total number of words spoken was 14 words with the number of students tested being 5 people. Based on figure 1, it can be concluded that: [1] The student named Anurak got a percentage of 9% in the number of correct language sounds, [2] the student named Narong got a percentage of 28% in the correct number of language sounds, [3] the student named Songkarn managed to get a percentage of 27% in the correct number of language sounds, [4] the student named Malivalaya managed to get a percentage of 18%.

Abstract

This writing aims to explain and analyze Driyarkara's educational model, the role of Driyarkara's thinking in Indonesian education, and Driyarkara's efforts in realizing his point of view on education in Indonesia. The writing of this article uses the socio-historical method with the stages of verification, heuristics, interpretation, and historiography using a sociocultural approach and analytical descriptive writing. The results of this article explain that: (1) Driyarkara's educational model includes humanization, humanism, humanity, and humanism, (2) the role of Driyarkara's thinking in contributing to the nature of humanity in a complex manner through character building in educational institutions, 3) Efforts Driyarakara in realizing his point of view in expressing ideas in a book and implementing the realization of the application of character-based education in the field of education in order to create graduates with competent characters, compassion, and conscience. (4) An outline of Driyarkara's thoughts that are mutually sustainable and fundamentally related, including human characteristics, human morality, and conscience. (5) The ethical dimension of Driyarkara: Theological deontology. (6) The ethical implications of Pancasila from the Driyarkara perspective.

Abstract

The digital era and technological advancements today make learning much easier. By using technology in teaching, we hope to have a positive impact on students' motivation and learning outcomes. This study implemented blended learning based on TPACK at SMA Negeri 1 Taman for 11th grade. This study used an experimental method with treatment and control groups, conducting pretests and posttests. The treatment group received blended learning based on TPACK. The results showed differences in posttest scores, explained by nonparametric Kruskal-Wallis statistical tests. While both motivation and learning outcomes had sig. > 0.05, the mean difference showed variations. The control group had a motivation mean of 48.38, whereas the treatment group scored higher at 52.62. For learning outcomes, the control group scored 8.605, while the treatment group achieved 8.614. These results indicate that the treatment group showed greater improvement. Therefore, it can be concluded that implementing blended learning based on TPACK has an impact on improving students' learning outcomes and motivation in PJOK (Physical Education, Sport, and Health). The research confirms the role of blended learning based on TPACK in enhancing students' learning outcomes in PJOK.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop and describe an effective assessment instrument. This type of research is Research and Development, while the data collection technique uses test techniques. Data analysis techniques use qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of this study are as follows: there are 13 significant assessment items and 12 items that are not yet significant. Therefore, there are still some items that need to be improved to be used as a suitable assessment instrument, both theoretically and empirically. Suitable theoretically means that it has fulfilled the aspects of construction, language, and material. While suitable empirically means through validity testing, reliability, difficulty level, discriminant power, and distractor quality analysis. An assessment instrument can be considered suitable if it meets the characteristics of Higher Order Thinking Skills; and the assessment instrument can be used as a tool to evaluate learning outcomes because it can differentiate between students with high, medium, and low abilities.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the design, determine the feasibility of interactive multimedia based on the drill and practice model, and determine the effectiveness of interactive multimedia based on the drill and practice model. The product was tested by 1 subject matter expert, 1 instructional design expert, 1 learning media design expert, as well as research subjects with 3 students in individual trials, 12 students in small group trials, and effectiveness testing using 21 students. The research model used is the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This development research uses data collection methods by observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis and inferential statistics. The research results obtained were (1) Interactive multimedia design using the ADDIE development model, (2) the quality of interactive multimedia by subject matter content expert testing obtained a result of 89.58% in the good category, the instructional design expert test obtained a result of 91% in the very category. good, learning media design expert tests obtained 90% results in the very good category, individual trials obtained 87.89% results in the good category, and small group trials obtained 88.85% results in the good category, (3) effectiveness of interactive multimedia Based on the results of the t-test, tcount is 5.288 and ttable is 2.085, meaning tcount > ttable, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, the results of this research show that Interactive Multimedia Based on the Drill and Practice Model is feasible and effective to apply for class IV Semester I in the material of arithmetic operations for addition and subtraction of whole numbers up to 1,000.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize students' interest in the subject of Fiqih through the implementation of ice breaking techniques at SMP Muhammadiyah 47 Sunggal. A qualitative approach with descriptive method was employed in this study. Data were obtained through interviews with Fiqih teachers and students of class VII-A at SMP Muhammadiyah 47 Sunggal, as well as classroom observations. The results of the research show that Fiqih teachers have used various ice breaking methods, such as performances and games, to enhance students' interest in the subject of Fiqih. Ice breaking is effective in boosting students' enthusiasm and concentration, and it has a positive impact on motivation, engagement, understanding, and interest in learning among students. However, the main challenge often encountered is the lack of enthusiasm among some students in participating in ice breaking activities. Nevertheless, this does not affect other students who remain enthusiastic. Therefore, teachers need to create more creative and engaging ice breaking methods to increase overall student enthusiasm. Thus, this research contributes to understanding the importance of implementing ice breaking to enhance students' interest in the subject of Fiqih at SMP Muhammadiyah 47 Sunggal.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the mujawwad program is implemented at MTs PAB 1 Helvetia. This research uses qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this research are interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects of this research were school principals, PKS 3 student affairs teachers, special teachers who taught mujawwad. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data display, and veryfying. The results of this research show that the mujawwad program at MTs PAB 1 Helvetia is carried out on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Outside school hours from 14.00 WIB to 15.00 WIB. This program aims to make students closer to the Al-Qur'an and love the Al-Quran, develop talents and excel in MTQ at the City/Regency level. The method in the mujawwad program at MTs PAB 1 Helvetia uses several methods, namely, 1. lecture method by providing material about the science of recitation. 2. demonstration method by modeling Al-Qur'an songs to students, then students follow the Al-Qur'an songs/maqam that have been taught by the teacher. 3. Iqra method for students who do not understand the science of recitation and maqam songs and cannot read the Al-Qur'an fluently. The process of implementing the mujawwad program at MTs PAB 1 Helvetia first tests the students who register to take part in the mujawwad program activities, after that they provide material about the science of recitation and maqam of the Koran, for students who are not yet fluent in reading the Al-Qur'an are required to bring an iqra to facilitate reading and improve recitation. The supporting factors in this program are adequate facilities and infrastructure, the methods taught to students can be understood well, and the teachers who teach in this program are the best Qori at national level. The inhibiting factors are the very short time, parents of students who do not allow it because the program is held outside school hours, students who are inconsistent in participating in the Koran recitation program at MTs PAB 1 Helvetia.

Abstract

This research includes research and development (R&D) which aims to produce a learning media that can be accessed via a smartphone and contains questions for introductory algebra material aimed at class IX C students at Satya Wacana Christian Junior High School, then test the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of the learning media that has been developed. Algebra is a subject matter that must be learned at the junior high school level, but students admit that Algebra material is one of the difficult mathematics materials to master. The development model used is the ADDIE development model Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This research was conducted on February 5, 2024 even semester of the 2023/2024 school year at Satya Wacana Christian Junior High School. Data were collected through media and material validation sheets, student response questionnaires and teacher response questionnaires, as well as pretests and posttests. The results showed that ALGEBOX learning media had been developed in accordance with ADDIE development procedures. The validity test of ALGEBOX learning media according to material experts 89% and media experts 93% showed valid results. The results of the student response questionnaire 86% and teacher response questionnaire 90%, then it is said to be practical. The effectiveness results are evidenced by the increase in the pretest average of 57.81 to 86.86 on the posttest score and reinforced by the results of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05 so it is said to be effective. It can be concluded that this learning media meets the criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness.
