Abstract

In nature, decomposer fungi have an important role on the decomposisition organic matters to inorganic compound. This research aimed to identify fungi decomposersfound inleaf litter of Acacia mangium. A. mangium is one of the plant spesies is used for revegetationin mined landswhich produce litter. Fungiwere isolated from leaf litter of A.mangium and grown in PDA medium. Indentifications of fungi are based on the structure and characters of fungal colonies. 7 species of fungi was found, those are Fusarium sp3, two spesies of Basidiomycetes, sterile myselia, Tichoderma sp1., Paecilomyces sp3., and Penicillium sp1. This finding suggest the process of fungal succession on leaf litter in mining land.Keywords: A. mangium, Decomposer fungi, leaf litter, mined land.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran biologi melalui pendekatan saintifik dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Sumber data berasal dari guru biologi dan siswa kelas XI pada 7 SMA Negeri di Provinsi Banten. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan terdiri dari observasi, kuesioner, wawancara serta dokumentasi Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil observasi proses pembelajaran biologi diperoleh nilai sebesar 80% yang termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil kuesioner pengetahuan berpikir kritis siswa diperoleh nilai sebesar 75% yang termasuk kategori baik. Sehingga rata-rata nilai pengembangan berpikir kritis melalui pendekatan saintifik di Banten diperoleh nilai sebesar 78% yang termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum 2013 melalui pendekatan saintifik dalam mengembangkan berpikir kritis pada 7 SMA Negeri di Provinsi Banten termasuk dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah sikap berpengaruh langsung terhadap  kemampuan kognitif mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Biologi umum. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survei dengan desain penelitian ex-post-fakto. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik dengan menggunakan program SPPS 22 for windows. Uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa Kelas 1B semester 1 TA 2014/2015. Adapun hasil penelitian berupa persamaan regresi linier adalah Ŷ = -3.853 + 1.036 X. Nilai koefisien korelasi (rxy) = 0.482 dan Fhitung (Fchange) = 5.458 dengan p-value = 0.031 < 0.05. Nilai R Square = 0.233 yang mengandung makna bahwa 23.3% variasi kemampuan kognitif dapat dijelaskan oleh sikap siswa. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini bahwa ada pengaruh sikap terhadap kemampuan kognitif mahasiswa pada mata kuliah biologi umum.   Kata kunci: Sikap, Kemampunan Kognitif, Biologi.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' difficulties in Genetics Course. The descriptive method was used in this study. The research sample was 85 Department of Biology Education students enrolled in the Genetics course. The instrument used was cognitive tests and questionnaires with content questions concerning students' learning difficulties. Cognitive test results showed an average value of 49.5, with a highest score of 90 and the lowest was 11. 52% of the students suggested the Genetics course is a tricky subject. The most crucial factor of learning difficulties is inappropriate learning style (66.3%), Genetics characteristics (65,8%), and lack of infrastructure (65.8%). The most challenging topics in genetics are linkage, crossing over, and chromosomes mapping (26.9%). This result is consistent with the questionnaire that 30% of the students stated that these topics are the most difficult in Genetics.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum that has been inaugurated since the 2021/2022 school year and will be applied to the national curriculum in the 2022/2023 school year. This curriculum is set as a form of learning recovery due to the Covid-19 pandemic which is one of the causes of students experiencing learning lags. In the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, there will definitely be obstacles or obstacles, both from internal and external factors. This study aims to find out the obstacles faced by biology teachers of Yuppentek 1 High School in the learning process of the Merdeka Curriculum. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative using two types of research data in the form of primary data obtained by conducting interviews, distributing questionnaires, as well as documentation and secondary data in the form of journals, books, and data from schools. Based on the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the obstacles for biology teachers in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at Yuppentek 1 High School are: (i) in the learning process by 21,4% have difficulty determining learning models that are relevant to the Merdeka Curriculum and difficulties in time management, (ii) obstacles to teaching materials are not felt by biology teachers at Yuppentek 1 High School because the teaching materials are adequate, (iii) the process and implementation of the assessment do not experience obstacles because the evaluation materials used have measured the abilities of students, (iv) and finally there are no obstacles in obtaining information about the Merdeka Curriculum, because teachers get enough information with the socialization of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi warga Desa Laban Kecamatan Tirtayasa Kabupaten Serang Bantenadalah sampah rumah tangga. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari kondisi lingkungan perumahan warga yangberserakan sampah dan belum adanya tempat pembuangan akhir sampah di des aini. Adapun tujuandari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengedukasi warga desa tentangpengolahansampahrumahtanggadengankonsep3R(Reduce,Reuse,Recycle).Kegiataninidilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan secara langsung dan diskusi tanya jawab antara narasumberdengan peserta. Berdasarkan hasil analisis angket ketercapaian pemahaman peserta terkait kegiatan inisebesar 77,6% dengan kategori baik.

Abstract

Warga Desa Lontar Kecamatan Tirtayasa Kabupaten Serang Banten memiliki permasalahanutama yaitu sampah rumah tangga terutama sampah plastik. Tujuan dari kegiatan PengabdianKepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang perilaku ramah lingkunganhidup dan pemanfaatan limbah plastik. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode pemaparan materisecara langsung, diskusi dan tanya jawab antara narasumber dengan peserta. Berdasarkan hasilanalisis angket ketercapaian pemahaman peserta terkait materi pada kegiatan ini sebesar 78,17%dengan kategori baik.

Abstract

Fakta yang terjadi tidak semuanya seperti yang diharapkan oleh tuntutan kurikulum 2013, pasti akan ada kekurangan dan kelebihan yanga akan terjadi di setiap kurikulum. Tetapi setiap kekurangan dalam pelaksanakan kurikulum menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi guru Biologi SMAN 4 Pandeglang untuk bisa mencari solusi di setiap permasalahan-permasalahannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan : mengetahui sejauh mana pelaksanaan pembelajaran Biologi dengan menggunakan kurikulum 2013 di SMAN 4 Pandeglang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu wawancara dengan dua guru disana, yaitu guru Biologi dan guru yang Penggerak dalam bidang kurikulum di SMAN tersebut. Hasilnya Implementasi pembelajaran Biologi menggunakan kurikulum 2013 di SMAN 4 Pandeglang bisa dikatakan sudah baik. Guru Biologi yang sudah berpengalaman mengajar lama sekitar 36 tahun di dunia pendidikan. Jadi, tahu cara untuk memecahkan suatu permasalahan yang ada tentang kurikulum untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kemudian di SMAN 4 Pandeglang sedang merencanakan untuk persiapan Kurikulum Merdeka untuk di terapkan tahun depan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop environment-based digital flipbook teaching materials to enhance elementary school students' learning independence, particularly on the topic of food chains. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model. The instruments used in this research included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Data analysis techniques comprised feasibility testing, effectiveness testing, user response testing (students and teachers), and assessment of students' learning independence level. The results show that the digital flipbook was highly feasible, with media expert validation scoring 90.43% and material expert validation scoring 84.37%. The effectiveness test revealed a significant improvement in learning outcomes, with the average pretest score increasing from 55.52 to 90.34 in the posttest, and an N-Gain score of 78.28% (high category). Moreover, student and teacher responses to the flipbook were highly positive, with percentages of 95.47% and 98.33%, respectively. Additionally, students' learning independence significantly increased, reaching 86.89%, which falls into the very high category. These findings suggest that the environment-based digital flipbook is effective in strengthening conceptual understanding of food chains while fostering learning independence through an interactive, contextual, and enjoyable approach.
