EduInovasi: Journal of Basic Educational Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, the  Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in February and Agust. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles on research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / MI / SD Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, educator professionalism, and research results. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The Journal kindly invites scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in the form of the contribution with articles to be published and disseminated through: the selection mechanism of the article, criticized by reviewer, and the editing process. Abstract

Blended Learning method is a promising alternative for enriching the learning experience. Given the challenges and opportunities in implementing Blended Learning in schools, this research aims to make a constructive contribution to schools, teachers and the government. The method used in this research is a qualitative research procedure to describe the character of the problem being monitored. explains that qualitative research aims to obtain a complete reflection of things in the minds of the people being supervised). In conclusion, the implementation of Blended Learning at SMP Negeri 40 Medan offers a learning approach that combines face-to-face interaction in class with the use of technology and online platforms. Although the majority of students respond positively to the flexibility of Blended Learning, there are several challenges that need to be overcome, especially regarding unequal access to technology and time management.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is one of the social problems that continues to be a concern in various societies. Families have an important role in overcoming this phenomenon. This research aims to explore the role of family in overcoming juvenile delinquency through literature review as well as by using descriptive analytical method by collecting data from various sources relevant to the topic. Various literature sources were used to investigate various aspects of the family's role, including providing affection, modeling, establishing effective communication, setting boundaries, providing emotional support, encouraging positive activities, moral and ethical education, and cooperation with educational institutions and the community. The results show that families that have good relationships, open communication, and provide positive support can help reduce juvenile delinquency rates. Therefore, it is important for families to understand their role in guiding and supporting adolescents in facing social challenges. Families play an important role in shaping adolescent character and behavior. The role of parents in educating children must be emphasized so that children have strong moral principles and are not tempted to commit delinquency. In shaping children's character, parents must have good communication with children, provide attention and affection, and provide examples of good behavior. In addition, families can also teach children about ethics, norms and values that apply in society. With a strong family role, it is expected to reduce the problem of juvenile delinquency in society.

Abstract

This research aims to see how pop-up books influence the desire to study science subjects on wetland ecosystems in class 3 at SD Muhammadiyah 07 Medan. The type of quantitative research used in this research is a quasi-experimental control group design. This research took two classes as samples, with one class being the class that used pop-up books as a learning medium and the other class not using pop-up books as a learning medium. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling in sampling and uses a questionnaire for data collection of 20 items. To analyze the data, the T test was used which has been used previously for the Shapiro Wilk normality test and Levene's homogeneity test. Before the research began, a reliability test was carried out using Cronbach's alpha and a validity test using the Gregory formula. Test the hypothesis using the T test, which has a significance value of 0.000. Based on the findings obtained, it is concluded that pop-up books have an important influence on student learning motivation at SD Muhammadiyah 07 Medan. This could be one solution for making pop-up books as a learning medium as an alternative. to increase students' motivation to learn.

Abstract

In the field of education and teaching, supervisors are needed who can dialogue and help personal and professional growth so that everyone experiences personal and professional improvement. The principal has the obligation to regulate the running of the school and can also work closely with the community, raise the enthusiasm of the teacher staff and school employees to work better, build and maintain a family, cohesiveness and unity between teachers, employees and students. students, develop school curricula, know school plans and know how to implement them, pay attention to and seek the welfare of teachers and employees. Supervision can be carried out by the principal who acts as a supervisor, although in a modern educational organizational system, special supervisors are needed who are more independent, and can increase objectivity in coaching and carrying out their duties. The function of supervision or supervision in education is not just a control to see whether all activities have been carried out in accordance with the plans and programs that have been outlined, but more than that. Supervision in education contains a broader meaning. Supervision activities include determining the conditions or requirements of personnel and materials needed for the creation of an effective teaching and learning situation, and efforts to fulfill these requirements.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of punishment and reward at the Darul Ulum Private Middle School in Southeast Aceh. The majority of students have difficulty academically and are less enthusiastic about studying fiqh. As a result, the author is curious about how children at the Darul Ulum Private Middle School in Southeast Aceh receive rewards and punishment during the learning process. This type of research is field research with a descriptive qualitative method that describes the application of punishment and rewards in fiqh subjects at Darul Ulum Private Middle School, Southeast Aceh. In collecting data, researchers used observation and interview techniques. The main data sources and informants in this research were fiqh teachers and their supporting informants, several students. Meanwhile, to analyze it, researchers used data reduction steps, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research stated that at Darul Ulum Private Middle School in Southeast Aceh, rewards and punishment were given with the aim of improving students' welfare and arousing interest in learning so that they felt satisfied and more enthusiastic about learning. Punishment is also intended to educate and improve student performance in the future. Punishment and rewards applied by teachers also take various forms, including rewards in the form of praise, additional grades, gifts and punishment, some in the form of preventive and repressive. The implementation of punishment and rewards that have been implemented by fiqh teachers at Darul Ulum Private Middle School, Southeast Aceh. Students can move in a more positive direction because of several existing approaches and forms regarding behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of school culture and parenting on students' character building at SMA Negeri 4 Surabaya. School culture, based on ethical and moral values as the main pillars, creates a supportive environment for students' character development. Parenting, which includes attention, emotional support, and open communication, is identified as a crucial factor to shape students' character. The two independent variables determining student character will be the focus of this study. With a quantitative approach using the regression analysis method, this study proves that school culture and parenting significantly contribute to students' character formation. The findings of this study provide a strong theoretical basis and have practical implications for educational policy development. This study provides guidance for schools and parents to design educational strategies to support students' positive development. The conclusions of this study provide a foundation for the implementation of educational policies that support students' character at SMA Negeri 4 Surabaya.

Abstract

The motivation behind this review is to distinguish errors in the utilization of the basic past tense by 11th grade at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jihad in Indragiri Hilir. The exploration technique is descriptive qualitative, with an emphasis on information got from the writing tests. The information showed that students made errors in utilizing the straightforward past tense, which were delegated omission, addition, misformation, and misordering. There were 104 errors found, including 43 omissions, 16 additions, 20 misformations, and 25 misorderings. The most prevalent type of error was omission (42%), followed by misordering (24%), misformation (19%), and addition (15%). The prevalence of omission errors suggests that students struggle with understanding and applying the simple past tense in their narrative writing, often resulting in incomplete sentences or omitted words. To improve, students should engage in more practice with narrative text writing to enhance their grasp of the simple past tense.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the policies implemented by the Principal at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Aisyiyah Binjai regarding the independent curriculum. The Merdeka Curriculum is an innovation that demands a change in paradigm in the implementation of education in Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collected through interviews and observations. The results of this research found that the principal's policies included: implementing the P5P2RA project, the principal providing independent curriculum planning training to educators through IKM training/workshops, the principal making a peer tutoring policy and the principal also holding educational unit reflections periodically. This research is expected to provide in-depth insight into the policies implemented by the principal of MTs Aisyiyah Binjai. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for schools, teachers and policy makers in increasing the effectiveness of implementing the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Modern education today may be very different from education in the past. Nowadays, education is more constructive and heavily relies on information and communication technology. Learning should be able to develop skills such as critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and innovation, communication, collaboration. Therefore, teachers must be creative and innovative educators in creating learning media that can enhance students' motivation to learn, one of which is in selecting varied and digital-based learning media in accordance with technological developments in the current era. The method used in this research is the qualitative experimental method using an experimental approach. The aim of this research is to describe creative and innovative learning media by utilizing Canva digital media to create learning media in the form of videos in the subject of Fiqih. The first results of this research is the increase in students' learning motivation marked by the increasing interest of students in observing the learning with the created media, and the improvement in students' discipline, second, the features available in the digital media Canva make it easier for teachers and students to create learning media, third, because there are not many teachers or students who are familiar with digital media Canva, further research is needed to achieve even better results.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain the learning methods used by teachers in order to increase students' learning motivation and explain the application of demonstration learning methods using audio-visual media to increase students' learning motivation at MTs Muhammadiyah 13 Tanjung Morawa. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Fiqh is one of the Islamic religious education subjects that provides encouragement to students to be able to apply it in everyday life. By using the demonstration method and in the learning process it can provide a clear picture that can be seen by students, with the teacher practicing and providing verbal explanations about the material being taught. The results of the writing show that through the results of the observations that the author has made, the teachers have carried out the taharah procedures using the demonstration method. After the demonstration method is implemented in taharah material in fiqh subjects, it provides concrete understanding to students.
