EduInovasi: Journal of Basic Educational Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, the  Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in February and Agust. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles on research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / MI / SD Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, educator professionalism, and research results. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The Journal kindly invites scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in the form of the contribution with articles to be published and disseminated through: the selection mechanism of the article, criticized by reviewer, and the editing process. Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the influence of competence, servant leadership, and work discipline on employee performance. This research is classified as quantitative research. Data collection method uses a questionnaire, while data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis and classic assumption tests consisting of normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroskedasticity test. The analysis results show that (1) competence has a positive effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.050, meaning the greater the competence, the better the employee performance. (2) servant leadership has a positive effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.018 < 0.050, meaning the better the perception of leadership, the better the employee performance. (3) work discipline has a positive effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.029 < 0.050, meaning the better the work discipline, the better the employee performance. (4) competence, servant leadership, and work discipline together have an influence on employee performance with a calculated Fvalue of 34.019 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning the better the competence, servant leadership, and work discipline, the better the employee performance.

Abstract

YouTube serves as a tool for managing and delivering information with the aim of manipulating data. This research aims to evaluate the effect of using YouTube as an effective means of learning Islamic Religious Education. The research uses a qualitative approach and is conducted at Ardaniah High School. Data collection methods involve observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out using data reduction techniques, comparing interview results with other data. Research findings include: (1) The process of learning Islamic Religious Education can be simplified to facilitate searching, manipulation, management, and exchange of information; (2) Development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills to enhance the smoothness of learning; (3) Improvement of teachers' professionalism in using YouTube, especially in the context of Islamic Religious Education; and (4) Transformation of schools into creative and dynamic learning institutions, stimulating students' motivation to always be curious in learning Islamic Religious Education. Effective learning requires careful planning, including the selection of appropriate learning media. The use of YouTube as a learning support tool has proven to be very effective in the context of Islamic Religious Education in the technological era, especially at Ardaniah High School.

Abstract

This study aims to delve into the Analytic Synthetic approach as a method of understanding the Al-Qur'an in the Independent Curriculum in Elementary Schools. This article is a literature study using a descriptive method, as a qualitative study in the form of library research. This research produces information in the form of notes and descriptive data from the texts being studied. This research is expected to provide input for elementary schools using the Independent Curriculum to increase students' interest in studying the Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

Official trips by authorized officials to attend invitations, meetings, seminars, and others, especially in the government, require a Travel Duty Letter (SPPD) as proof of accountability. However, the processing of SPPD is not always smooth and on time due to various obstacles resulting in delays in the disbursement of travel funds. To identify the factors causing delays in SPPD, researchers used 4 main focuses: (1) Human Resource Factors, (2) Internal Control, (3) Technology and Information Factors, and (4) Dominant Factors. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The research results show that: (1) Human Resource Factors, have worked quickly in accordance with existing provisions, (2) Internal Control, internal factors still cannot be controlled because the mobility of the relevant leaders has a tight schedule, resulting in a backlog of files and stagnation in the submission process. External factors can still be followed up by the relevant implementers for timely delivery of invoices, as invoices are the main administrative requirement in SPPD, (3) Technology and Information Factors, still use manual methods in their work, using Microsoft Excel, so many tasks are not automatic and synchronized between one file and another, (4) Dominant Factors, delays are dominated by the busy mobility of leaders and late submission of supporting documents. These problems become factors in the delay of SPPD.

Abstract

Most parents, when raising their children, just provide for their needs like clothes, food, and shelter, and try to make their children smart and sharp in their thinking. Although that alone is not enough for life, parents need to shape their children to have good ethics and wisdom so that the children do not despair and have a clear purpose in life through studying the book Tarbiyatul Athfal. The issue in this writing is how to maximize early childhood education in the family based on the Islamic perspective. This writing uses a descriptive qualitative research strategy and in presenting the creator's information, it uses documentation, interviews, and observations to obtain applicable information. The results of this research show that there are several ways that can be utilized to enhance children's education in the family through the book Tarbiyatul Athfal, especially based on the Islamic view, namely: 1) Model or example strategy, 2) Habituation strategy, 3) Giving advice, 4) Consideration and management techniques, 5) Discipline strategy. If these methods are viewed and applied from an Islamic perspective, they will greatly help parents in educating their children from an early age about good morals.

Abstract

Based on the developments that have occurred in Indonesia since August 18, 1945, this research explains how the idea of the constitution was born. The author's goal is to delve into various ideas and laws related to the Indonesian constitution. This research uses normative juridical methodology; qualitative descriptive analysis and secondary data collection are the backbone of the research. The research results show that the Indonesian Constitution has undergone four changes, namely from the 1945 Constitution to the RIS Constitution, the 1950 Constitution, and back to the 1945 Constitution. These changes have been influenced by internal and external factors, as well as different political and legal situations in Indonesia. Therefore, Indonesia's state system continues to evolve. In conclusion, in Indonesia, the constitution continues to undergo revisions. Several factors contribute to the evolution of the Indonesian constitution. One of them is the hasty and imperfect drafting of the BPUPKI document. Another example is the pressure from the Netherlands, which led to the amendment of the 1945 Constitution, changing the legal politics of the state and the constitutional framework of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum serves as a foundation for developing skills, both hard and soft, to prepare students to face the complex demands of society and the working world. However, assessments of improvements in soft and hard skills often lack consistency due to the subjective nature of evaluation by educators. This research aims to address these challenges by integrating Machine Learning (ML) methods into the assessment process. ML methods, including multiple linear regression, support vector machine (svm), and artificial neural network (ann), are implemented to help achieve more objective and consistent evaluations of students' progress in soft and hard skills. The research also involves comparing the accuracy of these three machine learning methods, resulting in 91.13%, 88.92%, and 91.26% accuracy, respectively. This research is expected to make a valuable contribution to understanding the effectiveness of the Merdeka Curriculum in relation to students' skill development. The comparison of accuracy of machine learning methods is also expected to provide important insights for educators, policymakers, and education stakeholders to support more informed and data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

This research aims to test whether service quality and perceived value influence customer satisfaction with customer trust as an intervening variable. The research sampled several users of Skintific skincare products. The sampling method used was nonprobability sampling through purposive sampling. Data collection was done using a questionnaire distributed through Google Forms. A total of 244 questionnaires were processed, obtained using a sample size formula depending on the number of indicators and multiplied by 5 to 10. The data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis and processed using SPSS version 25. The results of this research indicate that (1) service quality has a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction, (2) perceived value has a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction, (3) service quality has a positive and significant influence on customer trust, (4) perceived value has a positive and significant influence on customer trust, (5) customer trust has a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to enhance students' learning creativity by applying the pictorial riddle model in social studies education. The study uses a qualitative method. The subjects in this study are all fifth-grade students at SDN 104215 Sudirejo, Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency, totaling 23 students. The data source in this study is all fifth-grade students at SDN 104215, and the student data collected is in the form of learning test results. The teacher, as the researcher, focuses on the teacher's activities in teaching and the interaction between the teacher and the students in the learning process. The results of this study show that the application of the pictorial riddle model (the key to success) in social studies education can improve students' learning outcomes and creativity. The pretest data before using the pictorial riddle model showed an average score of 72.52, while based on the posttest results after using the pictorial riddle model, there was an average score of 87.39, indicating an improvement. This is also evidenced by the number of students who achieved the minimum passing grade before the research was conducted.

Abstract

Achieving good educational goals cannot be separated from the effectiveness of educational institutions in improving the quality of records management. However, in archive management there is often an increase in the number of archives, while archive storage space is limited. Therefore, appropriate strategies are needed for archive management to support the quality of education through archive management. This study uses a qualitative approach with comparative methods. The objects being compared are institutional and archival management at IAIN Palangka Raya and IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. The review is carried out through analysis in order to find similarities and differences in phenomena in factors that may be causes through the data. The selection of the IAIN Palangka Raya and IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon Archives was reviewed because the archives are under the Ministry of Religion and are one of the best archives on the island of Kalimantan and Java. This study reveals that based on the results of a review of archives management in educational institutions, namely IAIN Palangka Raya and IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, they can improve service quality as a strategy. These results can be seen from the analysis using the SWOT method that has been carried out. This comparative study has been carried out on preparedness management in supporting the quality of education at IAIN Palangka Raya and IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. This can be seen from the role of archives management through planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. Apart from that, through a SWOT analysis of IAIN Palangka Raya and IAIN Syekh Nurjati describes solutions and is oriented towards archives management both in organizational, institutional contexts and in the treatment of governance and accountability. The study findings explain that implementing archives management through SWOT analysis can improve the quality of education. Because archives management can provide archival services by making efforts to collect and manage records. Then, archival services can be maximized with archival functions to provide the required document archives. So that ease of archive management can be achieved because you can easily find and open old archives when they are needed.
