Abstract

Digital literacy have an important role in the learning process. Several articles state that the use of digital literacy can improve the quality and learning outcomes at high school level. To investigate the extent of the impact of digital literacy on learning, a meta-analysis was carried out on articles discussing digital literacy in the learning context and published in national journals with a SINTA index of 1-6. This research uses a meta-analysis design with a sample of 16 digital literacy articles on learning that meet the sample selection criteria. Research data was obtained from the analysis of these articles, and the results were analyzed by considering the effect size of each article based on the t-test. Research findings show that the average effect size value is 0.373, indicating that digital literacy has a significant impact on learning in the large effect category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through Scramble Type Cooperative Learning Model with Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Latambaga. The research method used was Classroom Action Research. The results showed that by looking at the results of the second cycle test, the average student score was 85.23 with classical learning completeness of 87.5%. When compared to the first cycle test results with an average student score of 79.96 and classical learning completeness of 78.12%, there was an increase in the average score of 5.74 and learning completeness of 9.38%. After seeing the test results, the results of observations of students and teachers during the teaching and learning process, it was concluded that this research was stopped in cycle II. This is because the success indicator of this research has been achieved, namely classical learning completeness has been more than 80% of students obtained a score ≥ 68 (KKM that has been determined), namely 87.5% of students have obtained a score ≥ 68. So it can be concluded that the implementation of the Scramble Type Cooperative learning model with the Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects, especially in the basic competencies of calculating the surface area and volume of cubes and beams of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Latambaga.

Abstract

Education plays a pivotal role in shaping individuals capable of bringing positive change to society. Quality of learning is crucial in achieving this goal, particularly in the subject of Science (IPA), where appropriate learning approaches stimulate conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills. The Discovery Learning model has garnered attention as an interactive approach that fosters learner-centered environments. This quasi-experimental study investigates the effectiveness of Discovery Learning on critical thinking skills among fifth-grade students in IPA. Two experimental groups, one using Discovery Learning and the other conventional methods, were compared. Results indicated significant improvement in critical thinking skills among the experimental group, supported by descriptive and inferential analyses. Findings underscore the efficacy of Discovery Learning in enhancing critical-thinking abilities, paving the way for more effective educational strategies. Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeksripsikan tingkat keterampilan proses sains peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Ter-Akreditasi A di Kecamatan Rappocini tahun ajaran 2023/2024 pada indikator keterampilan proses sains pada materi getaran dan gelombang. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Ter-Akreditasi A di Kecamatan Rappocini sebanyak 1305 peserta didik, yaitu SMPN 13 Makassar, SMPN 21 Makassar, SMPN 33 Makassar, SMPN 40 Makassar, SMPN Unismuh Makassar, SMP Telkom Makassar. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin sehingga sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 325 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir soal pada materi getaran dan gelombang. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu pemberian soal secara langsung di sekolah. Data analisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah tingkat keterampilan proses sains peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Ter-Akreditasi A di Kecamatan Rappocini berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 40,58%.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the level of scientific literacy abilities of class VIII students at SMPN Sungguminasa for the 2023/2024 academic year in the aspect of scientific competence on the subject matter of the human excretory system. The research population of class VIII students at SMPN throughout Sungguminasa was 1489 students, the research sample was 400 students with a sampling technique using the Slovin formula. The research instrument consisted of 20 scientific literacy test questions. Data collection techniques by administering multiple-choice tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The research results showed that the level of scientific literacy ability of class VIII students at SMPN throughout Sungguminasa was in the low category with an average of 9.32.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the problem-solving abilities of SMP SMPT Al-Kautsar students in social arithmetic based on gender. The method used is qualitative with the implementation of Polya's steps. Research procedures include surveys, interviews, respondent selection, and instrument validity testing. Data were collected through written tests and interviews and then analyzed descriptively using a quantitative approach. The results indicate differences in problem-solving abilities between male and female students. Male students tend to be less meticulous in understanding problems and planning solutions, while female students tend to be more meticulous and proficient in verbal skills. However, both male and female students are capable of executing problem-solving plans and checking solutions accurately.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang sesuainya perilaku masyarakat desa Karya Bersama dengan ajaran-ajaran Agama Islam, banyaknya masyarakat mulai dari anak-anak hingga orang tua yang masih belum bisa membaca Al-Qur’an, pakaian wanita yang bisa dibilang terbuka, banyak juga masyarakat yang tidak menghargai waktu sholat ditandai dengan masih melakukan aktivitas bahkan mengeraskan suara musik dengan pengeras suara disaat Adzan dan saat sholat jamaah di Masjid sedang dilakukan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan Sosiologis, pendekatan Psikologis, dan juga pendekatan Edukatif. Sumber data primer yang digunakan adalah data yang diperoleh langsung dari hasil observasi dan wawancara langsung dengan pihak-pihak yang terkait dengan penelitian seperti Ketua Majelis Taklim, Pengurus dan Penyuluh Agama. Sedangkan data sekunder adalah data yang berasal dari sumber kedua. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pengaruh Pengajian Rutin Terhadap Perilaku Keagamaan Anggota Majelis Taklim Permata Desa Karya Bersama sangat berpengaruh kuat dalam merubah perilaku yang sebelumnya kurangn sesuai menjadi lebih baik sesuai ajaran-ajaran agama Islam. (2) Perilaku keagamaan anggota Majelis Taklim Permata Desa Karya Bersama yang rutin menghadiri pengajian sudah sesuai dengan ajaran agama Islam dan baik dalam beretika.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on Augmented Reality (AR) to enhance the understanding of Science concepts among students at SDN 10 Tilamuta. The AR-based learning media is designed to offer a more engaging and interactive learning experience, allowing students to view and interact with three-dimensional science objects. The research methodology employed is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data were collected through observations, interviews, and tests of students' understanding before and after the use of the media. The results indicate that the use of AR learning media significantly improves students' comprehension of science concepts. Students’ responses to the media were also highly positive, reflecting increased motivation and engagement in the learning process. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the development of other learning media utilizing AR technology to enhance the effectiveness of science education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Student Worksheets are student guides that are used to carry out investigation or problem solving activities. LKPD can be form of a guide to train the development of cognitive aspects or a guide to develop all aspects of learning in the form of an experimental or forced guide.The aim of this research is to identify improvements in student learning outcomes after going through the teaching and learning process using Experiment-based LKPD on acid-base titration material. This research is a quasi-experimental type research with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The pretest and posttest results are then analyzed to identify improvements in learning outcomes. Apart from that, a t test and n-gain analysis were carried out to see the significance of this increase. The results of this analysis prove that there is a significant increase in the learning outcomes of students majoring in Fishing Ship Nauticals at SMK Negeri 2 Barru

Abstract

High unemployment is a complex problem that requires multidimensional solutions. One potential solution is to encourage entrepreneurial spirit among students. By creating new jobs, students can not only improve their welfare but also make a positive contribution to society. The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of entrepreneurship education and adversity intelligence on entrepreneurial intention, with self-efficacy as a mediating variable. This study used a questionnaire compiled based on the indicators of each variable as an instrument and distributed through Google Forms. A total of 210 participants were obtained from sampling through a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. The data obtained were then processed using SmartPLS version 4.0. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurship education and adversity intelligence on self-efficacy. In addition, entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy also had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. Adversity intelligence was shown to have a positive but not significant effect on entrepreneurial intention.
