Literacy is the ability to read and write that a person has. Literacy plays an important role in student character building. Character is something that is inherent in every individual and is not formed from birth, but rather influenced by various factors such as in the school, family and community environment. This article aims to explore the role of literacy culture in shaping students' character. Reading literacy is a very important basic skill for primary school students as it serves as a foundation for learning at the next level of education. This article aims to identify and explain effective strategies in improving reading skills and fostering interest in reading among students. Various methods such as the phonetic approach, shared reading and story-based learning are discussed as practical solutions to be implemented in the classroom. Through the implementation of effective literacy strategies, it is hoped that schools can create a learning environment that supports reading skills and encourages the formation of reading habits from an early age.

Analysis of Character Education Implementation Strategy to Prevent Bullying in Elementary School. Bullying in elementary schools is a serious problem that can negatively impact students' psychological and social development. A serious problem that can negatively affect students' psychological and social development. The purpose of this study is to analyze character education strategies as a preventive measure to stop bullying in the school environment.preventive measure to stop bullying in the school environment. Research This method is literature-based, where data is collected through the review of various sources, such as relevant research journals, books, and journals. The results of the analysis show that effective character education reinforces values such as compassion, empathy and tolerance from birth. The implementation of this strategy encourages teacher activity, teamwork among students and cooperation from school administrators. Administrators believe that interventions in the form of interactive education, value-based activities and constructive attitude-based activities can reduce internal bullying. The study suggests that character education can be an effective strategic approach in creating a school environment that is safe, inclusive and supportive of students' social-emotional development.

This research is motivated by the low interest of students in the material of the funeral procession, which is often considered scary and less interesting. This perception causes students to be reluctant to delve into the material, so their understanding of important practices in religion becomes limited. In fact, this material has high educational and spiritual value, but the scary impression reduces students' enthusiasm to learn it. This is a challenge for teachers in delivering effective and easy-to-understand learning. This study aims to analyze the strategies used by PAI teachers in designing active learning on funeral materials, in order to improve students' understanding and skills in religious practices. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a literature method, namely analyzing various relevant literature. The data collection technique was carried out through a literature review. The results of the study show that the active learning strategies applied by teachers are effective in attracting students' interest. With this strategy, students can more easily understand and absorb the material being taught.

The aim of this research is to determine the extent to which learning activities using audio-visual media increase interest in learning social studies. Local facts show that when studying social studies, students are more self-centered, do not pay attention to teachers and are indifferent to other friends. This shows that students' interest in social studies is still low. Audio-visual media is expected to increase interest in learning social studies because the application of audio-visual media can increase. So that students' character can change habits and care about the environment. The research method uses quantitative research methods, which are carried out by searching for material in written form. The aim of this research is to increase interest in learning social studies through audio-visual media. The results of this research indicate that the use of audio-visual media is very important to increase elementary school students' interest in learning social studies.

This low interest in reading prompted the government, through the Ministry of Education and Culture, to implement the School Literacy Movement which is integrated into the curriculum. With the hope of increasing students' enthusiasm for reading and becoming a source of motivation for lifelong learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of the school literacy movement in increasing students' motivation and interest in reading. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were students in class IV of SDN 4 Barru. Data collection techniques included interviews with the principal, librarian, grade IV homeroom teacher, grade IV students, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the implementation of the school literacy movement at SDN 4 Barru implements a strategy consisting of 15-minute reading activities in the class reading corner and mandatory visits to the library for each class. This 15-minute reading activity is carried out every day in class as an effort to familiarize reading activities and visits to the library as a form of encouragement for students to want to read. In influencing students' interest in reading, there are three stages of implementing the school literacy movement: the habituation stage, the development stage and the learning stage. The supporting factors are the active role of all school members and adequate facilities, while the challenges faced are the differences in children's interests that vary so it is the teacher's job to motivate students to have a reading habit.

This study aims to enhance early reading achievement in Grade I students at UPTD SDN 19 Barru through the use of image media and Sway. The research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, conducted in two cycles involving 28 students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, analyzed qualitatively. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students' early reading skills, with the average score rising from 61 in the pre-cycle to 68 in Cycle I and 84 in Cycle II. The integration of image media and Sway effectively increased student engagement and motivation, ultimately leading to better reading outcomes. This research highlights the importance of innovative teaching media in fostering foundational literacy skills.

This research aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class II students at UPTD SDN 19 Barru through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with two cycles. The research subjects were 11 students registered for class attendance in the 2023/2024 school year. The research procedure consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection which are carried out repeatedly in each cycle. Each cycle consists of four meetings, with three face-to-face meetings and one meeting for a learning outcomes test. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation, and learning outcomes tests. Data was analyzed descriptively qualitatively to determine the development of student learning outcomes. The research results show that the PBL model can increase students' motivation and mathematics learning outcomes. In cycle I, the average student score was 54.5%, while in cycle II it increased to 81.8%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model is effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of class II students.

Abstrak This research is descriptive in nature, namely by taking data such as learning outcome value data integrated with character and personality education of students at Muhammadiyah Bulukumba Vocational School. The population in this study were 20 students of Class XI, Computer Engineering and Networking Department, Muhammadiyah Bulukumba Vocational School. To determine the sample size in this study, the sampling technique used is a non-probability technique, namely the saturated or census sampling technique. The sample size in this study is the same as the population size, namely 20 students. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, documentation dan evaluation techniques. The data analysis techniques used are Korelasi Produkc Moment. Based on the results of the study with a significance level of 5% and N = 20, it turns out that the Ho rejection limit in the r table is 0.333. The calculated r value = 1.089 turns out to be > from r table = 0.333 meaning that the calculated r xy value is significant, so that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between character education and the formation of the personality of students at Muhammadiyah Bulukumba Vocational School.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of artificial intelligence (AI)-based learning strategies in improving students' digital literacy in Indonesian language subjects. With the rapid development of digital technology, the utilization of AI is expected to help students in understanding, evaluating, and improving their language skills. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach, involving 40 junior high school students in Makassar City as research subjects. Data were collected through pre-test, post-test, questionnaire, and interview, then analyzed using t-test to measure significant changes. The results showed that AI-based learning had a positive impact on improving students' digital literacy, indicated by a significant increase in post-test scores compared to pre-test. As many as 85% of students felt the benefits of the auto-correction and instant feedback features that helped in understanding and correcting language errors. However, limited access to technology and the readiness of educators are challenges in implementing this method. Therefore, infrastructure improvement and training for teachers are needed so that AI-based learning strategies can be implemented more optimally and inclusively.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of modules in the subject of problem-based science on learning outcomes. The method used in this study was a pre-experiment using a purposive sampling technique. The subjects of the study were 33 cadets of the Nautical Department of Fishing Vessels. The instruments used in this study were pretest and posttest questions. Data on the increase in students' pretest and posttest results had homogeneous variance and were normally distributed. Based on the paired t-test with a level of α = 0.05, Tcount (22.005)> Ttable (1.694) was obtained. This shows a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The results of the n-gain test based on the achievement of learning outcomes in students showed a value of 0.718 which was categorized as high. Therefore, the problem-based science module used is effective in improving learning outcomes.
