Abstract

This article discusses the revitalization of the value of Islamic tolerance in the history of the spread of Islam in Indonesia, with a focus on the Wali Songo approach. Wali Songo, as an important figure in the Islamization process in Java, applies innovative and adaptive da'wah methods, which integrate local culture with Islamic teachings. This process not only strengthens society's acceptance of Islam, but also emphasizes the importance of tolerance in social interactions amidst cultural and religious diversity. Through an in-depth literature review, this research reveals that the values ​​of tolerance taught by Wali Songo have high relevance in the current social and cultural context of Indonesia, especially in facing potential conflicts between ethnicities and religions. The results of the analysis show that revitalizing these values ​​can be a solution to creating a more harmonious and peaceful life in society. This article emphasizes that understanding and reapplying Wali Songo's teachings is important for building an inclusive Indonesian Islamic identity, as well as supporting social harmony in an increasingly complex era of globalization.

Abstract

This paper explores the thoughts of Shaykh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab At-Tamimi on the concept of tawhid as a way to purify worship to Allah SWT which is manifested in the Book of Tawhid. The analysis of this thought includes At-Tamimi's view of tawhid which is divided into three main categories, namely tawhid rububiyah, tawhid uluhiyah, and tawhid asma' wa sifat. In addition, to understand the spread of At-Tamimi's thought in academia, the paper further incorporates bibliometric analysis by mapping the development and pattern of research on the focus of the Book of Tawhid. The bibliometric analysis results in the mapping of research trends, authorship networks, and scholarly contributions on At-Tamimi's thought in the context of Islamic theology.

Abstract

This research explores the tradition of friendship during Eid al-Fitr in Pagar Gunung Village, Padang Guci Hulu, Kaur Regency, as a means of social reconciliation in society. Eid al-Fitr is an important moment for Muslims to forgive each other and strengthen relationships, as mandated in Q.S Al-Hujurat verse 10. This tradition not only increases togetherness, but also plays a vital role in resolving conflicts and building harmony. However, modernization and changes in lifestyle threaten the continuity of this tradition, because some people choose to celebrate Eid only with their immediate family or do not even return to the village. With a qualitative approach, this research examines how the tradition of friendship influences social reconciliation amidst social change. Data collection was carried out through observation and documentation studies, while data analysis used data reduction techniques to obtain relevant themes and patterns. It is hoped that the research results will provide an understanding of the importance of the tradition of friendship in strengthening social relations and offer solutions to maintain the sustainability of this tradition amidst the challenges of modernization.

Abstract

This abstract outlines the impact of women's roles in terrorist propaganda, which shows a significant transformation of their roles in acts of terrorism. In recent years, women's involvement in terrorist groups, especially those affiliated with ISIS, has increased, making them active actors in various acts of violence. This study identifies that women are often recruited through propaganda that utilizes social media, where they are exposed to narratives that are attractive and promise identity and spiritual goals. Through an analysis of the characteristics of radical groups and case examples, such as the involvement of women in the terrorist attacks in Surabaya, it can be seen that women play a role not only as supporters, but also as the main actors in acts of terror. This involvement is triggered by various factors, including social injustice, the search for identity, and the influence of a patriarchal environment that encourages them to seek equality through jihad. This study highlights the importance of understanding gender dynamics in the context of radicalization in order to formulate more effective prevention strategies against terrorism, as well as the need for women's active role in building family and community resilience against the influence of extremist ideology.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) describe how the storytelling method affects speech delay in children at Dharma Wanita Persatuan Kindergarten, Bengkulu Province, 2) to describe the parenting pattern of parents towards children at Dharma Wanita Persatuan Kindergarten, Bengkulu Province who experience speech delay, and 3) to describe the factors that influence speech delay in group B children at Dharma Wanita Persatuan Kindergarten, Bengkulu Province. This study uses a descriptive qualitative field research method. The location of the study was at Dharma Wanita Persatuan Kindergarten, Bengkulu Province. The research subjects included teachers, principals, and 2 speech delay students at Dharma Wanita Persatuan Kindergarten, Bengkulu Province. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the storytelling method applied by teachers consistently, especially by using visual media such as picture story books, can significantly stimulate children's speaking abilities. In addition, it was found that the permissive parenting pattern applied by some parents contributed to low language stimulation at home, which resulted in speech delay. Health, neurological factors, and the structure and physiology of children also affect children's ability to respond to and process the information received. Thus, handling speech delays in early childhood needs to involve a holistic approach, including the active role of teachers, appropriate parenting patterns, and attention to aspects of child development as a whole.

Abstract

This study focuses on the importance of teaching tolerance in Indonesia, where cultural and religious diversity is both a strength and a challenge. Early childhood education is essential to shape students' character so that they can appreciate differences and live peacefully in a pluralistic society. At SDN 79 Bengkulu City, tolerance is demonstrated through students' participation in religious activities. This study aims to explain the role of tolerance education in addressing religious differences in schools. The method used is qualitative, with data collection through interviews, observations, and document studies. The main sources of information were the principal, religious teachers, and students in grades 5 and 6. Additional data came from school documents, interview photos, and observation notes. Observations helped understand tolerance practices, while interviews explored teachers' and students' views on tolerance education. Documentation provided further insight from school records. The findings showed: (1) most students had a good understanding of respecting religious differences, (2) some teachers used inclusive teaching methods, and (3) challenges included limited teacher training in integrating tolerance into lessons and inadequate classroom resources. This highlights the need for better teacher preparation and improved facilities to effectively support tolerance education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the implementation of the Diniyah hour program at MI Terpadu Mutiara Assyifa, Bengkulu City and its contribution to the formation of students' religious character. In the context of Islamic education, Diniyah hours are part of a learning strategy based on religious values ​​that play an important role in forming students' religious and noble personalities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are carried out through direct observation of the implementation process, interviews with teachers and principals, as well as administrative documentation and teaching materials used. The results of the study indicate that the Diniyah hour program is implemented in a scheduled and systematic manner every morning before general lessons begin. The materials taught include reading and writing the Qur'an, aqidah-akhlak, basic fiqh, memorizing daily prayers, and the history of Islamic culture. This program has succeeded in forming students' religious habits such as discipline in praying, praying before and after studying, and showing mutual respect between friends. The obstacles faced include lack of time, limited learning media, and variations in students' learning interests. However, the school has made various innovations in teaching such as the use of audio-visual media and a fun learning approach. This program has proven effective in forming students' religious character from an early age and needs to be continuously developed.

Abstract

The moral crisis among teenagers is one of the biggest challenges in modern society, triggered by technological developments, the influence of foreign culture, and shifts in social values. This phenomenon is reflected in various deviant behaviors, such as increasing juvenile delinquency, uncontrolled consumer behavior, promiscuity, and decreased respect for parents and authority. In the midst of this situation, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays an important role in shaping the character and morals of the younger generation through noble religious values. This article focuses on strategies that can be implemented in PAI to face and overcome moral crises among teenagers. The strategies discussed include strengthening understanding and internalizing the values of Islamic teachings, providing good role models (uswah hasanah) from teachers, parents and community figures, as well as using social media as a means of disseminating moral messages that are relevant to the lives of teenagers. Apart from that, this article also emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach that involves family, school and social environment in the character formation process. Good collaboration between schools and parents through character development programs is also identified as a key factor in supporting the effectiveness of PAI. By implementing these strategies systematically, it is hoped that teenagers can avoid moral crises and grow into individuals with noble character, integrity, and able to face the challenges of the times armed with strong Islamic values. Abstract

This study examines the traditions of the Kaana Village community, Enggano Island, in welcoming the holy month of Ramadan through two main activities, namely the night of punggahan and cleaning the graves of ancestors. This study uses a qualitative approach with a documentation study method, obtained from field notes, documentation of activities, and the author's direct experience during the Real Work Lecture (KKN) in the village. The tradition of the night of punggahan is carried out as a form of spiritual preparation for Ramadan, which is marked by praying together, eating together, and forgiving each other among residents. Meanwhile, the tradition of cleaning the graves is carried out through mutual cooperation as a form of respect for ancestors and to strengthen family values ​​and spirituality. The results of the study show that both traditions play an important role in strengthening the cultural identity and social solidarity of the Kaana Village community. This tradition also reflects a harmonious blend of Islamic teachings and local wisdom that continues to be maintained to this day.

Abstract

This qualitative study investigates the effectiveness of the muhadatsah (conversation-based) method in improving Arabic speaking skills among students at Pondok Pesantren Babussalam Rajeg, utilizing in-depth interviews with two instructors. Findings demonstrate that structured conversational practice, including peer discussions (halaqoh) and impromptu speaking sessions, significantly enhances fluency, vocabulary retention, and communicative confidence by emphasizing active listening and speaking. However, challenges such as inconsistent teacher participation, heavy memorization loads, and limited informal practice opportunities hinder optimal outcomes. The study highlights the importance of a supportive linguistic environment, visual vocabulary aids, and peer motivation as key success factors, while recommending consistent methodological implementation and teacher training to address existing barriers. The results align with the sequential language acquisition model (listening → speaking → reading → writing), offering practical insights for enhancing Arabic pedagogy in Islamic boarding schools.
