Abstract

The study formulation was to find out the use of Letter Board Media on Early Reading Ability for Children Aged 5-6 Years at TK Mekar Wangi Kindergarten in Botubarani Village, Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency, while the study objective seeks to determine the aforesaid formulation. This study employed a quantitative pre-experimental design (one-group pre-test-post-test design). The findings, with a sample of 15 children, indicated a significant difference in the average pre-test and post-test results. This can be seen in the pre-test data obtaining an average value of 24.13 and a standard deviation of 1.12. Meanwhile, the post-test data obtained an average value of 39.86 and a standard deviation of 3.62. The results show a significant influence before and after the treatment. Based on the output of the statistical test, it is known that the Tcount value is 16.2, and the Ttable value is 0.08. Therefore 16.2 > 0.088, thus, the hypothesis is accepted. Hence, the research hypothesis suggests that using letter board media influences the early reading ability of 5-6-year-old children at TK Mekar Wangi Kindergarten in Botubarani Village, Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the effectiveness of children's learning related to the use of audiovisual media in memorizing the Quran in Group B children at Tk Riyadhus Shalihiin. This research is based on the assumption that audiovisual media in early childhood Quran memorization learning can be effective. This research used a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques employed in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis in this research utilized Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis. Based on the research findings and data analysis, it can be concluded that using audiovisual media in Quran memorization learning is relatively effective and suitable for implementation in early childhood education. However, it is essential to note that the use of audiovisual media should be supplemented with other instructional aids to enhance the Quran memorization abilities of young children. This research proves that audiovisual media is an effective learning tool for memorizing Quran

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve the social emotional abilities of children aged 5-6 years through the sociodrama method in Popodu Village, Bolaang Uki District, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research is quantitative research with experimental research methods. The research design used in this research is one group pretest-posttest design. The results of this research were 20 children as subjects. From the calculation results on the pretest it was 14.55 and on the post-test it was 29.55. t test with a significance level of 0.05. The Tcount test result is 19.809 and the Ttable result = 0.05: dk = n-1 (20-1=19) is 1.725, thus Tcount is greater than Ttable (Tcount = 19.809 ≥ Ttable = 1.725). Based on the test criteria that accept Ha: if Tcount ≥ Ttable =0.05; n-1, it can be stated that there is an influence of the sociodrama method on children's social emotional abilities.

Abstract

The study findings revealed that a sample size of 20 children indicated a significant difference in the average scores between the pretest and posttest of numeracy literacy skills. This indicated an influence of YouTube usage in enhancing the children's early numeracy literacy skills. The statistical analysis of the pretest scores revealed that the initial numeracy literacy ability was 19.1 (19.1%) of the total score, which amounted to 8. The posttest value of children's numeracy literacy results in an average score of 28.25 (28.25%) of a total score of 8, with the one-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test data normality test with a pretest significance value of 0.099 > 0.05, and a posttest significance value of 0.200 > 0.05, and the results of the t-test obtained a value of  23.719, while the value of at (x) = 0.05 is 2.093 if 23.719 > 2.093, then Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Meaning that there is an influence of the use of YouTube media on numeracy literacy skills in group B early childhood at TK State Pembina Botumoito Kindergarten. The utilization of YouTube as an alternative solution is suggested to address the challenges faced by learners. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Sticky Board game on the early literacy skills of Group A children at said Kindergarten in the research site. It applied a quantitative pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The findings revealed a difference in the average scores between the pretest and posttest, based on a sample of 26 children. The pretest data showed an average value of 15.1 and a standard deviation of 3.04, while the posttest data showed an average value of 32.5 and a standard deviation of 2.26. The findings demonstrated a significant influence before and after the implementation. Based on the output of the Statistical Test, the T count value was 17.7, and the T table value was 2.048. Thus, the value was 17.7> 2.048, and the hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, the research hypothesis stated that there is an influence of the Sticky Board Game on the Early Literacy Skills of Group A Children at TK Mekar Wangi Kindergarten in Botubarani Village, Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to (1) understand the purpose of animated films, (2) understand the meaning of children's spiritual intelligence, and (3) determine the influence of animation media on children's spiritual intelligence. This research was conducted using a quantitative method and sampled early childhood children in group (B) at Bersehati State Kindergarten Binjeita, located in East Bolangintang District. The research method applied in this study was an experimental method with 8x applications of animation media treatment. The results of the study showed that the treatment of Nusa and Rara animated films had an influence on improving children's spiritual intelligence in Bersehati Kindergarten, Binjeita Village. The percentage increase was 38.46%. The hypothesis testing showed that the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted with a probability value of 0.000, where 0.000 < 0.05, indicating an influence of animation media usage on children's spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

This research method is qualitative research. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews and document studies. The source of the data is the description of gross motor abilities in group B. The data were analyzed qualitatively. Gross motor skills in children are divided into three, namely: locomotor, non-locomotor, and manipulative. The results showed that the child's locomotor ability can be seen from the way the child is able to make movements with body strength. Non-locomotor movements can be seen from the way children are able to make movements with agility, namely children are able to move quickly, and manipulative movements can be seen from the way children are able to make movements with balance, namely a child is able to choose and maintain his body position. The teacher teaches children to do and continues to teach children who have not been able to do the activities given by the teacher. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the description of gross motor skills, namely locomotor, non-locomotor and manipulative in children aged 5-6 years in Mutiara Laut Kindergarten, Oluhuta Village, Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency, was maximized

Abstract

Thed aim of this study is to understand the early childhood emotional intelligence in group B of Nurul Yaqin Kindergarten, District of Buol. The population consists of 1 teacher and 6 students of group B of Nurul Yaqin kindergarten. The data was collected using interview, observation, and documentation techniques, and analysed by Miles and Huberman analysis; reduction, display, verification, and conclusion drawings. Emotional intelligence contributes to how children manage and express their emotions that vary among one another. The findings of the study are that both parents and teachers teach the children on how to develop their emotions, and that their roles are significant to build children’s positive emotions, such as giving them opportunities to express their emotions, to be patient, and willing to share. The conclusion of this study is the emotional intelligence is needed for one to be successful in life, and parents and teacher have a significant role to build it.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is can improve the ability of teachers to make interesting question guidelines in TK Surya 2 Tunggulo Limboto Barat, Gorontalo. This research was carried out in TK Surya 2 Tunggulo Limboto Barat, Gorontalo. This research was carried out for two cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, observation / observance. Action and reflection. The technique of data analysis is to analyze, process, present and draw conclusions. In cycle 1 can be described as good 57%, , enough 28.57% and less 14.29% after being carried out cycle 2 then increases well to 80% and enough 20% and less to 0%. From the results of the research in this activity, it can be concluded that with group guidance techniques carried out by the principal, it can improve the ability of teachers to make guidelines for interesting questions in TK Surya 2 Tunggulo Limboto Barat, Gorontalo.
