Abstract

This study aims to examine the direct and indirect effect of firm characteristic on company performance through voluntary risk management disclosure based on contingency factors. This study uses secondary data with a content analysis approach to the acquisition of risk management disclosure data based on annual report from sample of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019 after the IFRS convergence was implemented in Indonesia. Currently, the regulator only requires disclosures of financial risk management compared to non-financial risk disclosures. Therefore, this study is expected to provide empirical evidence regarding the importance of voluntary risk management disclosure on firm performance has contingent relationship with considering external factors, consists of (1) business uncertainty, and (2) dynamic environment. The implication of this research is expected to become a consideration for regulators and entities to disclose non-financial information in the company's annual report because it can affect company performance amidst the uncertain business environment in developing countries such as Indonesia

Abstract

The study reviews the important role of Shared Vision-Based Teamwork Cohesiveness (SVBTC) in bridging Organizational Commitment (OC) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in employees of an organization. One of the positive behaviors that are expected to grow in an organization is the presence of high OC and OCB in employees. This study confirms that employees who have good OC are not always supported by good OCB through a review of various previous studies. In this study, a catalyst in the form of Shared Vision-Based Teamwork Cohesiveness (SVBTC) is presented from the point of view of Self Congruence Theory (SCT) which is believed to strengthen the relationship between OC and OCB. Applying for a literature review, this study provides a new perspective on the factors that can increase OCB for employees in an organization.

Abstract

Potato production in North Sumatra is productive compared to other provinces with a yield of 124 326 tons in 2020. To continue to improve the quality and quantity of potato harvest each year, continuous innovation is needed in implementing agricultural systems and technologies that can increase productivity. This research aims to find agrotechnology that can increase productivity by focusing on developing the quality of soil as farming land in Kuta Rayat Village, Naman Teran District, Karo District, North Sumatra Province. Potato agrotechnology was studied through plot trials using the Randomized Block Design method with 7 treatments (agro-potato: mounds across the slope, quality seeds, lime dosage, manure and chemical fertilizer according to the recommendations given). Data collected included before and after treatment of soil properties and potato productivity. The results of this study showed that the dose of Dolomite lime 1.5 tons/ha, manure 20 tons/ha, 150 kg Urea, 150 kg ZA, 250 kg SP-36 and 200 kg KCl was sufficient to obtain optimal potato productivity and improve soil quality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of national security in the threat of Indonesian sovereignty. Analysis with qualitative methods is presented in the research process through several data collection methods, including in-depth interviews, literature study, observation, and focus group discussions and continued with data triangulation. There are two structural efforts that need to be made in calculating national security management, namely Threat Assessment which considers the spectrum that has a high threat risk such as natural disasters, crime, terrorists and accidents, and shifts in Threat Perception such as changes in type. from military threats to non-military threats.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the determinant factors of firm value during the COVID-19 pandemic and the role of dividend policy as a mediation variable. This study uses multiple linear regression and the Sobel test as a data analysis tool to measure dividend policy as a mediating variable between profitability, liquidity, free cash flow, leverage, company growth, investment opportunities, and company value during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the study show that profitability, liquidity, free cash flow, leverage, company growth, and COVID-19 have an effect on dividend policy and company value. However, investment opportunities have no effect on dividend policy or firm value. While the results of the Sobel test showed interaction, this study found that dividend policy mediates the effect of profitability, liquidity, free cash flow, leverage, company growth, and COVID-19 on company value. This study expands on empirical evidence on the determinants of firm value in the COVID-19 pandemic that is currently reported to be inconclusive and fills a gap in the existing literature by focusing on the issue of the determinants of firm value in the context of dividend policy as a mediating variable in the COVID-19 pandemic.
