Abstract

The evaluation of irrigation network performance is essential to ascertain the status of these networks. This is governed by the Regulation of the Minister of PUPR No.12/PRT/M/2015 about the Exploitation and Maintenance of Irrigation Networks. This study aims to assess the physical condition of the principal channel, its performance, and the availability of discharge. The physical condition and functionality of the Way Geren irrigation canal remain satisfactory. Channels 1 and 2 achieved an 89% presentation and a 77% capacity for discharge. The embankment height was sufficient to prevent runoff at 85% for both measurements. However, the implementation of repairs and maintenance received a presentation score of only 30% due to the lack of maintenance and repairs conducted on the channel. The performance evaluation of primary irrigation canals in the Way Geren irrigation region indicates a 67.5% rating of mediocre condition, necessitating maintenance of a reparative nature. This enhancement aims to rehabilitate the principal irrigation canal of the Way Geren irrigation region to improve its operational efficacy. Based on the Network Scheme for an area of 453 hectares, with a designated discharge (Q) of 0.802 m³/sec, a wet cross-sectional area (A) of 0.863 m², a flow velocity (V) of 0.158 m/s, and a flowing discharge (Q) of 0.136 m³/sec at a door opening of 0.09 m.

Abstract

Investments that enhance a nation's infrastructure include water structures, such as the Wae Leman Dam in Indonesia. The Wae Leman Dam, serving an area of 2500 hectares, is situated on the Wae Leman River in Buru Regency, Maluku Province. This extensive region necessitates optimal circumstances for dam construction and the upkeep of irrigation systems in the Wae Leman irrigation basin, particularly for this dam project. The Wae Leman Dam has not undergone maintenance since its construction in 2015, with plans for maintenance scheduled in 2023. Consequently, it is essential to perform a performance analysis of the Wae Leman dam to assess its physical condition, efficacy, and functionality at present. This study employs references from the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number 12/PRT/M/2015 regarding Irrigation Exploitation and Maintenance, which has been adapted into the Irrigation System Performance Index (IKSI) method to facilitate the evaluation of the condition and functionality of dam structures. The dam performance index assessment yielded a weight of 11.36%, which corresponds to 87.3% of the maximum weight of 13% for the Wae Leman Dam performance evaluation. This number signifies that the performance of the primary building system (dam) is satisfactory; the recommendations for re-optimizing the dam's function include repairs, routine maintenance, and periodic maintenance activities.

Abstract

Unwanted challenges are frequently encountered during the execution of building projects, one of which is the occurrence of delays brought on by a variety of circumstances, such as minor equipment damage and personnel shortages. To overcome this, alternative options are needed that can be used to complete the project such as adding working hours (overtime). The case study in this study is the Namlea - Marloso - Mako - Modanmohe - Namrole Road Preservation project. This study analyzes the implementation time using the CPM (critical path method) method and the crashing method. The data needed in this study include the S curve, a recapitulation of project cost calculations, a list of Budget Plans (RAB), analysis of work unit prices and a list of wages for workers and heavy equipment. The purpose of this study is to obtain the duration of the implementation time using the CPM method, identify critical paths and then carry out crashing to obtain the duration of the acceleration time with the alternative of adding 3 hours of overtime. From the results of the analysis carried out using the CPM method, the implementation time was obtained for 359 days (51 weeks) and consisted of 1 critical path with 12 activities. The crashing method is only focused on labor-intensive activities with an alternative of adding 3 hours of overtime. After acceleration with the crashing method, a duration of 345 days (49 weeks) was obtained, a reduction of 14 days from the normal duration of 359 days (51 weeks).

Abstract

In the drainage channel analysis of the Telaga-Piru Hamlet section in West Seram District, West Seram Regency, Maluku Province. The research location road is 3 km long and 4 m wide. This surface runoff is caused by high intensity rain, so that the Telaga Piru road has a damaged surface, some of which is even covered by sediment and water that is carried onto the road. From the results of the 10 year return period calculation, the design rainfall was 192.518 mm, with an average water requirement of 125 liters and a water usage time of 24 hours/day from the water requirement discharged each day, namely 85% with population plant presentations of 0,21% peryear. So that the population of telaga hamlet in 2029 was 659 people/person.Then the discharge that enters the channel is 0,006 m³/hour/day. So the results of the analysis of the amount of runoff entering the Telaga Hamlet road section, Qᵣ = 0.522 m³/second and Qₛ = 0.527 m³/second, show that the channel on the Telaga Hamlet road section can accommodate the runoff discharge.

Abstract

The Ariate - Tanah Goyang road section is a road section in Huamual District, West Seram Regency with a road length of 6 KM and a width of 4 M which was built with the aim of facilitating access for people to travel to the Regency Capital. This road section is a location where water puddles often occur when it rains due to the condition of the drainage channels which do not distribute water runoff properly because most of the channels do not have a drainage system. This is what causes problems with the road structure because it is unable to accommodate excessive standing water, causing damage to surface runoff. Based on the results of a 10-year return period calculation, the design rainfall was 195.884 mm, with a rainwater discharge on the Ariate - Tanah Goyang road section of 0.650 m3 and the planned cross-section type was a trapezoidal cross-section with a channel top width of 110 cm, channel bottom width of 61 cm and channel depth 80 cm. And the population growth rate (r) is 0.14% of the annual percentage for the projected population for the next 5 years is 1,309 people and the dirty water discharge in the drainage channel is 0.004 m3/hour/day.

Abstract

The processing of petis commodities begins with fermentation by-products which are then processed with sugar and salt until they have a distinctive aroma. The involvement of probiotic microbes, bioactive chemicals, and micronutrients produced by microbes is very important in fermentation. When food is fermented, lactic acid bacteria play an important role. The development of LAB in fermented foods causes a decrease in pH, which protects food from damage or interference from bacteria that cause spoilage and dangerous infections, including Vibrio spp. In addition, Lactic Acid Bacteria have the potential to produce hydrolase enzymes needed in the manufacture of probiotics. Hydrolase enzymes produced by LAB include cellulase, protease, mannanase, and cellulase. The purpose of this study was to determine the LAB isolate as an antibacterial against the pathogenic bacteria Vibrio sp, to determine the potential of the isolate against the pathogenic bacteria and to determine the potential of LAB as a producer of hydrolase enzymes. The stages carried out in the study consisted of 3 stages, namely refreshing the LAB isolate that had been isolated and preserved. The second stage is testing BAL as a producer of hydrolase enzymes and antibacterial testing on BAL against pathogenic bacteria Vibrio sp. The third stage is data analysis of all data obtained. The target in this study is to be a source of data in the development of the field of biotechnology. This research is one of the priority activities of maritime research in the 2020-2024 UTM RIP with research topics: product diversification, utilization and preservation of marine and fisheries resources.

Abstract

Penyakit diabetes melitus tidak dapat disembuhkan, namun dapat dikendalikan dengan mengikuti pengelolaan DM. Kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan bahaya diabetes mellitus, pencegahan dan pengendaliannya membuat penyakit ini semakin banyak terjadi. Tujuan pelaksaannya pun sangat mendorong lansia untuk memanfaatkan layanan kesehatan yang tersedia, termasuk pemeriksaan rutin kadar gula darah, konsultasi dengan tenaga medis, dan program pendampingan untuk manajemen diabetes.Pengabdian ini menggunakan strategi pendidikan masyarakat melalui penyuluhan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman tentang diabetes melitus (DM). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini difokuskan pada tujuan tersebut, dengan langkah-langkah berupa penyuluhan kesehatan, pemeriksaan gula darah gratis, serta diskusi interaktif mengenai bahaya, pencegahan, dan pengelolaan DM.Berdasarkan pemeriksaan terdapat 28 lansia hadir. Didapatkan data 6 lansia memiliki nilai GDS diatas normal (>120), 2 lansia memiliki nilai GDS dibawah normal (<70) dan 20 lansia lainnya memiliki nilai GDS normal. Hal ini menunjukkan 1:8 lansia Panti Werdha Rindang Asih II memiliki kadar gula darah cukup tinggi dan berisiko terkena masalah apabila tidak dilakukan penanganan dan pengawasan yang tepatdapat disimpulkan bahwa memberikan sebuah penyuluhan kepada para lansia dapat memberikan pengetahuan tentang diabetes mellitus pada lansia, semakin banyak pula informasi dan pengetahuan tentang kesehatan yang diperoleh dan gambaran yang lebih jelas muncul mengenai pencegahan dan pengobatan pada lansia. Pengembangan program pengabdian ,masyarakat di bidang peningkatan mutu kesehatan lanjut usia perlu ditingkatkan dengan pelayanan masyarakat yang teratur dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Basically, every human being always needs service. All people have the right to receive good and quality services from the government regardless of race, ethnicity, position and other people who are equal without differences between individuals. This is as stated in the symbol of the struggle and protection of the Indonesian nation (Pancasila), the fifth principle which states social justice for all Indonesian people. The performance capability of Village officials in providing administrative services to the people of Kamiri Village, Masamba District. Factors that hinder the performance of Village officials in providing services to the people of Kamiri Village, Masamba District. The factor inhibiting the performance of Village officials in providing administrative services to the community in Kamiri Village, Masamba District is the leadership factor, where the village head as the leader of Village government administration is less assertive. Efforts made by village officials to overcome obstacles to the performance of village officials in providing administrative services in Kamiri village, Masamba subdistrict are by utilizing technology.

Abstract

The server is a media that has an important role to provide internet access services for its users. So that the network can be used optimally, a server is needed. This study aims to design server virtualization in the Vocational School Bhakti Persada with the aim of building a flexible server infrastructure that optimizes the use of server resources, so it can be adjusted to the workload so that hardware resources are optimal. This research conducted a solution using the concept of virtualization, namely the use of proxmox to design a virtual server that can minimize maintenance costs as well as in hardware procurement. The use of hardware resources provided by the server machine has not been used optimally so that the right steps are needed to overcome this problem. Research results obtained from server virtualization using proxmox to optimize server resources can manage servers efficiently in terms of time and cost.

Abstract

Stress is the body's reaction to situations that seem dangerous and difficult, causing the body to produce the hormone adrenaline to defend itself. Determined by the researchers is a major factor in sleep difficulties in the short term. The purpose of this literature review is to analyze the relationship between stress and sleep quality. Library data collection which was carried out from 12 articles found the 5 most relevant articles in this study. The results of the analysis show that the level of severe and moderate stress can lead to poor sleep quality and can cause serious complications such as insomnia and hypertension. The results of the literature review show that stress is the main cause of sleep quality based on the levels. Therefore, researchers can conclude that there is a significant relationship between the effect of stress and sleep quality.
