Abstract

The assistance program for obtaining a Business Identification Number (NIB) was conducted to assist Rera Nastar, a pastry business owned by Mrs. Ulfatun Ni'mah, which has been established since 2019 in Ental Sewu Village, Buduran, Sidoarjo. This assistance was motivated by the low understanding of MSMEs regarding the function and procedures for submitting a NIB through the OSS-RBA system. The assistance process was carried out through several stages, namely planning, preparation, and direct registration practice. However, there were obstacles when filling out the AMDAL (Environmental Impact Assessment) which could not be submitted, so the registration had to be repeated several times. After conducting several evaluations and data adjustments, Rera Nastar's NIB was finally successfully issued on November 27, 2025. The assistance results showed an increase in business understanding, as well as the successful completion of the legality process. This activity provided significant benefits in raising awareness about business legality and preparing MSMEs to officially develop their businesses.

Abstract

Abstract. This community service initiative aims to enhance the capacity of residents in Taman Cari Village through training on producing soybean-based coffee as an alternative product with added economic potential. The community faces limited knowledge and skills in processing soybeans beyond their basic use as food ingredients. The program was conducted through several stages, including preparation, training sessions, hands-on production practice, packaging workshops, and final evaluation. The outcomes indicate that participants acquired new skills in processing soybeans into a coffee-like beverage, improved their understanding of basic production standards, and developed simple product packaging suitable for small-scale marketing. This program is expected to contribute to increasing household income and encouraging the emergence of new micro-entrepreneurs within the village community. Abstract

Indonesia has a wealth of flora with great potential to be developed as a functional food ingredient with economic value. One local plant that has this potential is the butterfly pea flower (Clitoria ternatea), which is known for its attractive natural color and beneficial bioactive compounds. This community service activity aims to introduce diversified butterfly pea flower processing to students through training in making food products as a home business idea based on local potential. The training was carried out using the method of material presentation, interactive discussions, and organoleptic product testing. The products developed include Azure Petal Tea, Citrus Spice Infusion, Blue Velvet Milk Tea, and Indigo Dream Pudding. The processing process is carried out using simple methods that are easy to apply. The results of the activity showed that participants were highly enthusiastic about the process of creating product characteristics and demonstrated a better understanding of the potential for diversifying butterfly pea flowers into value-added food products.

Abstract

The composition of waste generated from human activities is 60-70% organic waste, and the remainder is non-organic waste (30-40%). Of this non-organic waste, plastic waste makes up the second largest portion, at 14%. The large percentage of household waste represents both a problem and an opportunity to address the waste problem at its source. This can be achieved by involving and educating housewives who come into direct contact with household waste. Housewives should be educated on the importance of managing waste from its source, using the 3R principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), classifying the types of plastic waste, and handling them appropriately. Educated housewives are expected to become ambassadors who will spread their understanding of the importance of changing the public's mindset regarding plastic waste management.
