Abstract

This research aims to: (1) determine the feasibility of the crab fishing business in Bungin Permai Village, (2) to determine the sensitivity of the financial analysis model for crab fishing businesses based on changes in selling prices due to inflation. The research was conducted in July 2023. This research used the slovin technique with a total of 10 fishermen as respondents. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews, documentation and literature review techniques. The types of data used were primary data and secondary data. The data analysis used was NVP, IRR, RCR, and sensitivity analysis. The research results showed that (1) the crab fishing business in Bungin Permai Village could be developed and it was feasible to continue because of the results of the feasibility analysis the business NPV value was IDR 83,363,842 (>0), the IRR was 74%, and the profit from the RCR was 52% . (2) based on the results of the sensitivity analysis model test with the scenario of an increase in the price of crab material, it was said that it was still feasible when the increase is 3.61% and 1.62%, whereas when the price of crab material increases by 50%, the business was not worth continuing and the selling price decreases. Crab crabs are said to still be viable when the selling price of crabs falls and price inflation remains at 3.61% and 1.62%, whereas when the selling price decreases by 35% the business was no longer worth continuing or continuing.

Average delivery of 7,920 kg/week with a price of IDR. 120,000,-/kg for super dried anchovies and IDR. 100,000,-/kg for jumbo dried anchovies. The variationcoefficient of anchovy drying plants was 0.11 ≤ 0.5 with a lower limit of income (L) of IDR. 25,964,940,-/week (L≥ 0). The result of study showed that the drying plants of anchovies in the Terapung Village of Mawasangka District Central Buton Regency will obtain benefit at every one production period. Therefore, sustainable harvest of anchovies is a must be ensure income suitability of dried anchovy’s processing plants.

Abstract

The conservation enterprise growth in Wakatobi Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, which is focused on ecotourism or natural and cultural tourism, have varied greatly in recent years regarding the environmental of Wakatobi, both in terms of appearance, human resources and variety of types. Eco-tourism has developed quite well and advanced in several places, such as Bali, but there are also those that have not succeeded in making ecotourism a leading sector and priority, such as Wakatobi Regency. To improve public understanding of sustainable tourism the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) has issued a special guideline for sustainable tourism. This research is one of the GSTC indicators in the management of several marine conservation destinations on Wangi-Wangi Island, namely WTC, DCDC, and FPW Sombu. By utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, this research aims to expand knowledge about the WTC, DCDC, and FPW Sombu as one of the mainstay ecotourism destinations in Wakatobi Regency, determine whether the management of these destinations has fulfilled the GSTC criteria, and determines the development strategy of the ecotourism object in question using the GSTC indicators. The results show that, so far, the management of the WTC, DCDC, and the FPW Sombu almost largely does not meet the GSTC sustainable tourism indicators. The focus of the aspects studied are indicators of (A) sustainable development, (C) cultural sustainability and (D) environmental sustainability, which show that the management of the three marine ecotourism destinations has not been maximally considered. Overall, all three destinations are still weak, according to the analysis of the with the GSTC criteria. A review of the sustainable tourism aspects of the GSTC can provide information on the development of the WTC, DCDC, and the FPW Sombu, so that they meet the requirements to become sustainable marine ecotourism destinations in the GSTC. in terms of attractions, amenity, and accessibility.
