Abstract

This study aims to determine the Role and Challenges of Women in Realizing a Harmonious Family towards Society era 5.0. This research is descriptive qualitative research with the type or nature of literature research or literature research, as for the technique used, namely, researchers collect data related to research in the form of books, manuscripts, articles, previous research reports, and newspapers both online and offline and so on. The research results showed that women are creatures created by God (Allah) who have the nature of menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth, and adjustment. Society 5.0 is a concept of changing social, economic, and educational life in the digital era, where almost all human work will be replaced by machines. The roles and challenges of women in realizing a harmonious family towards Society 5.0 are life changes, managing households, educating children, supporting husbands' work, and fighting for gender equality. The challenge is the role—double, gender inequality, work-family balance, unfettered internet access, and changing values and morals.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the current state of Zakat and Waqf institutions in Gombe State, Nigeria, and proposes measures for their revival for sustainable community development. The paper also covers a brief overview of the Islamic institutions of Waqf and Zakat, their importance in advancing social welfare and community development, and the present difficulties these organizations face in Gombe State, such as poor funding, improper management, and low public awareness. This study used a qualitative research design, collecting data through interviews and a review of the literature, and evaluating the data using content analysis. The study discovered that in order to revitalize these organizations and realize their full potential, a comprehensive strategy involving cooperation between government agencies, religious organizations, and the community must be looked in to. This strategy entails creating an efficient administration system, creating a thorough legislative framework for Waqf and Zakat, and raising public awareness through outreach and education initiatives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ethics of judges in the judiciary and the position of female judges which includes knowing the learning system related to the ethics of judges in the judiciary and the position of female judges at SMA N 01 Lebong. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the system in learning the ethics of judges in the judiciary and the position of women judges was good. This is assessed from several things including giving punishment that is in accordance with proper punishment procedures by not physically attacking students, the use of lecture and discussion methods in learning is a test of a teacher's professionalism skills when using oral media, the teams games tournament model in learning that must pay attention to whether it is suitable for the material and suitable for the conditions of students, the existence of media in learning can help and facilitate teachers when delivering learning materials, the suitability of lecture and discussion methods for the material on the ethics of judges in the judiciary and the position of female judges which are considered suitable but must still pay attention to several things, and the determination of suitable methods in learning that still pay attention to learning objectives.

Abstract

The study aims to investigate the socioeconomic determinants that influence educational ambitions in Northern Nigeria and the potential role of Islamic waqf (Waqf). This research uses a qualitative approach. Expert interviews, case studies, and literature reviews are all incorporated into this technique. These techniques make it possible to understand the difficulties facing the local education system in great detail, as well as the historical and current contributions that Waqf has made to the advancement of education. The results of the analysis of the relevant theoretical framework and practical investigations yielded valuable insights into the ways in which the Islamic waqf system can close the huge educational gaps and inequalities in the area. The study looks at the relationship between socioeconomic status and educational goals in Northern Nigeria and how the use and revitalization of Waqf institutions can advance education in the area. The conclusion of the study is that in Northern Nigeria, socioeconomic factors are still a challenge to the desire to get an education. By involving collaboration between governments, businesses, and religious institutions to create effective and inclusive structures, Islamic waqf can be a potential solution to overcome socio-economic barriers in education.

Abstract

Since the Independent Curriculum is a new curriculum that is currently being implemented, more research is required to determine how it affects PAI learning in elementary schools. The purpose of this study is to investigate how PAI learning at SD N 10 Lebong has been affected by the adoption of the Independent Curriculum.  The research subject for this study is the principal and PAI teacher at SD N 10 Lebong, and it employs a descriptive qualitative methodology. Utilizing interviews, documentation, and observational data collection. The study's findings demonstrate that the initial installation of the Independent Curriculum at SDN 10 Lebong was successful in fostering a more vibrant and welcoming classroom. The flexibility provided by this curriculum allows teachers to adopt a variety of innovative teaching methods, such as the use of technology and project-based learning. Second, the students' enthusiasm and drive to master PAI courses has significantly improved after SDN 10 Lebong adopted the Independent Curriculum. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a flexibility of the curriculum that allows teachers to adopt more creative and interactive teaching methods, increasing student engagement and enthusiasm in learning.

Abstract

Background of study: Ḥalāl industry is an emerging sector with great potential for growth and economic development in Nigeria. The large Muslim population is a driving factor that creates opportunities for its growth to improve the national economy. However, these opportunities, as well as the impeding challenges, have still been poorly understood.Aims and scope of paper: This paper seeks to examine the opportunities and challenges posed by the Ḥalāl industry in Nigeria. It provides a comprehensive review of the sector, outlining its structure, current state, potential for growth and the intimidating challenges.Methods: The paper draws data from both primary and secondary sources; obtained from interviews, industry literature, and government reports.Result: The results show that although Nigeria has a lot of promise because of its Muslim consumer base, agricultural products, and enterprising populace, the sector is still fragmented.  Lack of public knowledge, poor infrastructure, low adherence to international ḥalāl norms, and the absence of a national ḥalāl authority are some of the main obstacles.  However, prospects in export markets, agro-processing, Islamic financing assistance, youth-led entrepreneurship, and regional trade agreements like the AfCFTA.Conclusion: The research concludes that, driven by the large Muslim population in Nigeria, the ḥalāl industry has strong potential to boost economic growth through local production, greater exports, and tourism development.

Abstract

Background of study: Da’wah in the contemporary society is facing lots of challenges from both the callers and the called. This is as a result of the put up attitudes from both ends.Aims and scope of paper: The paper elucidates the Islamic da’wah methodologies which have been laid down in the Sharī‘ah of Islām in order to amend the da’wah approaches of the contemporary scholars and to warn the general public against turning away from the truth.Methods: In order to achieve the set objectives, the paper adopted analytical and phenomenological methods of research. The analytical methodology is used to explain the connotation of da’wah, the importance of da’wah and the Islamic da’wah methodologies while the phenomenological method is applied to elaborate the challenges of da’wah in the contemporary Nigerian society.Result: Findings have shown that the failure of da’wah is as a result of the approaches adopted by most of the contemporary callers, it has also been found out that many a caller has different motive from the Islamic general da’wah motives for going into da’wah activity.Conclusion: The paper concludes by recommending adequate Islamic knowledge for any intending caller so as to be able to prosper in his da’wah journey.

Abstract

Background of Study: Particularly at higher education institutions, the provision of sufficient infrastructure and learning facilities is crucial for fostering student enthusiasm and academic achievement. Many study programs still have restrictions in this regard, however.Aims and Scope of Paper: This study aims to determine what facilities and infrastructure are needed in the MPI Study Program to support the learning process and whether these facilities and infrastructure affect the learning motivation of MPI study program students at IAIN Curup.Method: This research is a type of correlation study with two independent and dependent variables. The population of this study consisted of 94 students, with 25 eighth-semester students serving as a test sample for the questionnaire, while 69 second, fourth, and sixth-semester students comprised the research sample. Data collection techniques included questionnaires and unstructured interviews, using instruments with a modified Likert scale. Simple linear regression was used as part of data analysis methods.Result: The findings demonstrated that the infrastructure and learning facilities had a favorable and noteworthy impact on the students' motivation to learn in the MPI IAIN Curup study program, expressed by the regression equation Ŷ = 1,846 + 1,220 Χ. The strength of the influence or causality relationship is indicated by the beta coefficient of 0.955.Conclusion: Given the significant positive influence of learning facilities and infrastructure on learning motivation, there is a need to enhance the MPI IAIN Curup study program's infrastructure and learning facilities' accessibility and use.

Abstract

Background of study: The Islamic Religious Education Curriculum implemented in elementary schools must be able to adapt to the times and the needs of students. This requires teachers to not only master the subject matter but also possess adequate pedagogical skills to deliver the material in an engaging and effective manner.Aims and scope of the paper: The purpose of this study is to examine the challenges and strategies for improving the competence of Islamic religious education teachers in implementing the curriculum at SDN 10 Lebong.Methods: The principal and Islamic religious education teachers at SD N 10 Lebong were the subjects of this study, which used a descriptive qualitative approach involving observation, data collection, interviews, and documentation.Results: According to the survey, teachers faced a number of difficulties, including repetitive instructional strategies, little use of digital media, a lack of pertinent training, and sporadic supervision. Additionally, the curriculum's content was frequently out of step with the real-world situations that students encountered. A number of tactics were used to solve these problems, such as frequent training on cutting-edge techniques, senior teacher mentorship, ongoing assessment, integrating technology into the classroom, and creating teacher learning communities.Conclusion: These techniques successfully raised student interest in learning, teacher proficiency, and pedagogical confidence. According to the study's findings, the effective implementation of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum in elementary schools depends on collaborative and sustainable professional development that is backed by the education office and schools. The results also emphasize how crucial it is for educators to take an active role in professional development initiatives in order to maintain competence.

Abstract

Background of study: This study examined the intersection of Islamic principles and humanitarian services through the activities of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN). It explored how MSSN's diverse humanitarian programs align with Islamic teachings on compassion, social justice, and communal responsibility.Aims and scope of paper: This paper's goal is to investigate how MSSN's programs include Islamic ideals and how youth-led religious initiatives use faith-based humanitarianism to address important social issues in Nigeria. The study's focus encompasses a range of MSSN initiatives in the fields of spiritual outreach, education, healthcare, and aid distribution.Methods: Utilised qualitative methodology, the research draws on primary reports, interviews, and institutional records to assess the society's interventions across healthcare, education, relief distribution, and spiritual outreach.Result: Findings reveal that MSSN actively played a crucial part in crisis response, such as during the COVID-19 pandemic, where it provided essential food, medical supplies, and public health education. The Society also engaged in sustained welfare initiatives, including IDP support, deradicalization programs, scholarship schemes, zakāt distribution, and rural Da'wah missions. These efforts have significantly impacted vulnerable populations, reaching thousands across northern and southwestern Nigerian. MSSN’s model of youth-led, faith-driven service delivery further extends to prisons, hospitals, and orphanages, ensuring a holistic approach to community care.Conclusion: MSSN’s integration of Islamic ethics with pragmatic service delivery affirms the critical role of faith-based youth organisations in fostering national cohesion, resilience, and development across Nigeria.
