Abstract

This research is based on the lack of perception of teachers of SDN Kuasaet Nusa Tenggara Timur, Maulafa District, Kupang City towards the implementation of the independent curriculum, this is shown by the low understanding of teachers related to information technology which is in contrast to the independent curriculum which requires teachers to be creative, innovative, and able to adapt to the increasingly demanding conditions of the               times so that more creative learning is created. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out teachers' perceptions of the implementation of the independent curriculum in the context of elementary school teacher education at SD Negeri Kuasaet, Kupang City. The type of research used in this study is qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation studies while the data analysis is carried out by interactive data analysis techniques which include data reduction, data display, conclusion and verification. The research subjects in the study were 6 teachers and principals at SDN Kuasaet.  The results of the study show that in the implementation of the independent curriculum at SDN Kuasaet there are several obstacles including the lack of training, limited technological understanding, and obstacles in adapting to curriculum changes, but related to teachers' perception of the implementation of the independent curriculum in the context of education at SD Negeri Kuasaet in Kupang city has received a positive response from all teachers which is evidenced by how they see the independent curriculum as an opportunity for a dynamic learning experience, and many teachers have successfully adapted to the approach that exists in their curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the creativity of grade V students in learning elementary fine arts in P5 activities with a project-based learning model at SD Negeri Kuanino. This type of research is a class action research with the research subjects are students of class V SD Negeri Kuanino Kupang, totaling 21 people. Data collection through observation techniques and collage making practices. In the pre-cycle research results there were 10 students who completed meeting the KKM with a percentage of completeness of 47.61%. In cycle I the percentage of completeness was 25% and only 1 group reached KKM while in cycle II it increased with a percentage of completeness of 75% or 3 groups that reached KKM. Thus it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning model can increase student creativity in learning fine arts in grade V of SD Negeri Kuanino Kota Kupang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of introducing maritime-based literacy and numeracy to early childhood at Mawasangka State Kindergarten, located in the coastal area of ​​Central Buton Regency. This research approach uses a participatory qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Learning activities are focused on developing children's abilities in recognizing numbers, patterns, classifications, and stories, through maritime media and themes that are relevant to the surrounding environment, such as pictures of fish, ships, shells, and sea-themed stories. The results of the study showed that children showed high enthusiasm, active involvement, and increased understanding of the concept of numeracy and literacy contextually. In addition, this activity supports the achievement of seven aspects of early childhood development, especially in the cognitive, language, socio-emotional, and gross motor aspects. Maritime-based learning has been proven to be able to integrate local values ​​into the PAUD curriculum, as well as being an innovative approach to building basic numeracy literacy skills from an early age. These findings are recommended to be adopted by PAUD institutions in other coastal areas as a form of transformative and inclusive contextual education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the stimulation of literacy development in children aged 4–5 years can be carried out using leftover materials as learning media at TK Sosial Wagola. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, which were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model consisting of three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that utilizing leftover materials such as used paper, cardboard, snack packaging, and skewers is effective in stimulating children's literacy skills. The children demonstrated progress in recognizing letters, identifying object names based on initial sounds, writing their own names, and distinguishing between vowels and consonants. The use of leftover materials also made the learning process more enjoyable, contextual, and stimulated children's creativity. This study reveals that environmentally-based alternative media can enhance early childhood literacy naturally through meaningful play-based learning.

Abstract

This study aims to instill an entrepreneurial spirit in six-year-old children through traditional woven fabric crafts in Pajam Village, South Kaledupa District, Wakatobi Regency. A participatory qualitative approach was employed, involving children, teachers, parents, and local artisans. Activities such as making brooches, bracelets, keychains, and wallets from traditional woven fabric were designed to foster entrepreneurial values, including self-confidence, responsibility, leadership, originality, and goal orientation. Observations and interviews revealed that children developed entrepreneurial skills through these creative processes. The support of parents and teachers played a vital role in enhancing children's interest and enthusiasm. The study concludes that traditional woven fabric crafts are an effective learning medium for nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset from an early age while simultaneously preserving local cultural heritage.

Abstract

Lack of sleep quality is one of the common forms of discomfort felt by pregnant women, especially those who have entered the third trimester of pregnancy. There are 66.7% of third trimester pregnant women who have poor sleep quality because they feel discomfort in their pregnancy. The impact of the lack of sleep quality in third trimester pregnant women affects the condition of the mother or baby during pregnancy or in childbirth later. Pregnant women with poor sleep quality can cause complications in pregnancy such as premature birth, increased maternal blood pressure and can make the labor process longer and at greater risk for cesarean section. In dealing with this, efforts can be made to handle non-pharmacological therapies such as self hypnosis. Self hypnosis is a technique to hypnotize oneself followed by the acceptance of a certain suggestion or thought. Objective: To analyze the effect of self hypnosis on sleep quality of third trimester pregnant women. Methods: Using a pre experimental one group pre test post test design which was carried out in March-April 2023 at TPMB Midwife Yulis Aktriani, S.Tr.Keb. The sampling technique was purposive sampling and used the Wilcoxon analysis test. Results: The results of the statistical analysis test using the Wilcoxon test with a p-value of 0,180 (>0,05) show that there is no significant effect between self hypnosis on the quality of sleep of pregnant women in the third trimester. Conclusion: There is no effect of self hypnosis on sleep quality of third trimester pregnant women

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of parents in fostering moral character in early childhood during the digital era, focusing on Kulati Village, Tomia Timur District, Wakatobi Regency. The digital era presents new challenges for children’s moral education due to uncontrolled exposure to technology, which can influence their behavior and character. The problems identified in this study include the frequent use of impolite language by children, their inability to control anger, lack of understanding of manners towards adults, and weak parental supervision of gadget use. In addition, parents often fail to reinforce the moral values taught at school, further worsening the situation. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation involving eight parents of early childhood children. The findings reveal that parents play four essential roles: as educators, motivators, role models, and companions. Parents strive to limit gadget use, provide positive examples, encourage good behavior, and build emotional closeness through open communication. However, limited time, low digital literacy, and work demands pose significant challenges in optimizing these roles. The study emphasizes the critical importance of active parental involvement in early moral education to shape children with strong character and noble values amid rapid technological advancement.

Abstract

The study was motivated by the limited availability of learning media, as several existing materials were damaged and incomplete due to prolonged use. As a result, children were less enthusiastic during learning activities. This research aims to explore the utilization of theme-based origami media in early childhood education. Origami media was employed to enhance children's learning interest, creativity, and fine motor skills through thematic activities. The research method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR) with a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were 10 children from Group B, aged 5–6 years. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings showed that the use of theme-based origami media was effective in increasing children's engagement in learning. Children showed enthusiasm, understood the learning material, and actively participated in the process through themes such as Plants, Sea Transportation, Printed Communication, and My Country. In conclusion, theme-based origami media can serve as a creative, enjoyable, and meaningful alternative for early childhood education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is: 1) To determine the positive and significant influence between company size and company value, 2) To determine the positive and significant influence between profitability and company value, 3) To determine the positive and significant influence between dividend policy and company value. The sample used are manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2024 period as many as 24 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that: 1) Company size has a positive effect on company value, proven. This is indicated by a regression coefficient of -0,262 and a sig value of 0,038 < 0,05. 2) Profitability has a positive effect on company value, not proven. This is indicated by a regression coefficient of 0,669 and a sig value 0,759 > 0,05. 3) Dividend policy has a positive effect on company value, not proven. This is indicated by a regression coefficient of -0,009 and a sig value 0,610 > 0,05.

Abstract

This study consists of several stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive qualitative by finding the completeness of student learning outcomes through observation sheets and tests with 32 research subjects consisting of 19 men and 17 women. This research was conducted at UPTD SD Negeri Naikoten with the results of the study showing that in cycle I of 32 students who completed, 10 students (51.25%) completed because they understood the material presented and did the test questions correctly. While those who did not complete were 22 students (68.75%) who did not complete because they did not pay attention to the teacher's explanation so they were unable to do the test questions given. The strengths and weaknesses of the teacher are that the teacher delivers the material clearly, the teacher gives students the opportunity to ask questions about the material presented and the teacher does not guide students to conclude the material. The strengths and weaknesses of the students are that the students pay attention to the teacher's explanation of the material and the students are unable to do the questions correctly. In cycle II, the learning outcomes of students increased from 32 students who completed, 31 students (96.87%) completed because they were active in learning, worked together with groups, understood the material presented and were able to do the test questions correctly. Based on the results of the study above, it can be concluded that the application of the project based learning model in science learning to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV students of UPTD SD Negeri Naikoten, can improve the learning outcomes of students.
