Abstract

Introduction: Neurogenic bladder dysfunction constitutes a significant complication following stroke, affecting 40-60% of hospitalized stroke patients with substantial impacts on quality of life and rehabilitation outcomes. Aim: This research aims to systematically evaluate the efficacy, safety, and clinical effectiveness of various pharmacological, rehabilitative, and neuromodulatory approaches for managing neurogenic bladder dysfunction in post-stroke patients based on recent evidence (2015-2025). Methods: A systematic review was conducted using PubMed Central database (January 2015 - October 2025). Search query: (“stroke” OR “cerebrovascular accident” OR “brain infarction” OR “intracranial hemorrhage”) AND (“urinary incontinence” OR “neurogenic bladder” OR “lower urinary tract symptoms”) - (“post-stroke” OR “post-acute stroke”) AND (“bladder dysfunction” OR “detrusor overactivity” OR “urgency incontinence”) - (“stroke rehabilitation”) AND (“continence management” OR “urinary symptoms”)Inclusion criteria: peer-reviewed studies with open access, focus on post-stroke urinary dysfunction, English language, outcome data available. Nine publications were identified and analyzed. Results: Nine peer-reviewed publications were identified including comprehensive reviews, systematic reviews, randomized controlled trials, feasibility studies, and clinical research. Behavioral interventions (timed voiding, bladder training, pelvic floor muscle training) demonstrated 60-70% efficacy as first-line management with superior efficacy compared to pharmacological treatment alone. Physical rehabilitation approaches showed significant effectiveness. Neuromodulation (TTNS/PTNS) showed 50-75% efficacy with adverse events less than 5%. Electric stimulation combined with behavioral interventions showed enhanced outcomes. Upper urinary tract protection and individualized treatment plans are critical management considerations. Conclusion: Management of neurogenic bladder dysfunction in post-stroke patients requires an individually tailored treatment plan integrating behavioral techniques, lifestyle interventions, and pharmacological options. Behavioral management should constitute first-line therapy, with neuromodulation and specialized rehabilitation serving as effective alternatives. Proper diagnosis through urodynamic assessment is essential, and bladder rehabilitation programs dependent on patient cooperation and independence are crucial for success.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze work motivation in improving employee performance at Batavia Coffee and Roastery, a local coffee shop competing in the food and beverage (F&B) industry. Work motivation is an important factor in supporting employee productivity and achieving company goals. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the owner, assistant, and employees. The results show that employee motivation is influenced by both internal and external factors. Internal factors include the fulfillment of physiological needs, safety, social relationships, recognition, and self-actualization. External factors consist of compensation, work environment, leadership, and reward systems. Based on the preliminary survey, most employees stated that salaries were insufficient to meet living needs, job security was limited, and tasks lacked challenges. These conditions led to decreased enthusiasm, low initiative, and limited creativity. However, the study also found that supportive leadership, harmonious teamwork, and the provision of rewards such as bonuses and praise significantly increased work motivation. This positively affected employee performance, particularly in terms of quantity, quality, discipline, and accuracy of work. In conclusion, work motivation plays an essential role in enhancing employee performance at Batavia Coffee and Roastery. The company should focus more on aspects of compensation, reward systems, and opportunities for self-development so that employee motivation is maintained and has a positive impact on business sustainability

Abstract

Abstract

Indonesia faces a high dependency on imported wheat, despite possessing abundant local carbohydrate resources such as cassava (ubi kayu). Cassava is highly perishable and commands a low selling price in its raw form. Modified Cassava Flour (Mocaf) is a fermented cassava flour product with wheat-like characteristics, holding significant potential as an import substitute. However, in production centers like Kampar Regency, Riau, farmers have not widely adopted this processing technology. This research aims to (1) Analyze the economic value-added, value-added ratio, and profit margins from processing cassava into Mocaf flour in Kampar Regency; (2) Identify the factors influencing the value-added process, such as technology, input costs, and market access; and (3) Provide strategic recommendations for the sustainable development of the Mocaf industry. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach using a case study method focused on a Mocaf-processing SME in Kampar Regency. Secondary data from BPS (Statistics Indonesia) and literature. Data analysis will utilize the Hayami Method to calculate value-added and a business income analysis (  ) to measure feasibility.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Natural Sciences (IPAS) learning at SD Negeri 190 Palembang based on observations and interviews with fifth-grade teachers and students. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that the teacher implemented contextual learning strategies such as role-playing, group discussions, and simple media use (raffia strings and ecosystem diagrams). The teacher also utilized the school environment as a learning resource, such as the schoolyard for ecosystem examples. The main obstacle was the limited use of technological learning media, which made it difficult for some students to understand abstract concepts. However, students’ responses were generally positive—they felt happy and engaged during interactive learning sessions. This study highlights the importance of teacher innovation in developing active, creative, and enjoyable IPAS learning by optimizing available learning resources.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to examine the difference in emotional stability between students who participate in extracurricular activities and those who do not at SMAN 2 Selong. Using a quantitative comparative method with 150 respondents (75 participants and 75 non-participants), data were collected through a validated emotional stability scale and analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent samples t-test. The results show a significant difference between the two groups (p < 0.05), with students involved in extracurricular activities demonstrating higher emotional stability than those who are not, with a mean difference of 27.01 points. These findings indicate that extracurricular engagement contributes to improved self-regulation, adaptability, empathy, and emotional management among adolescents. Theoretically, this study supports existing concepts of emotional development in adolescence, while practically emphasizing the importance of promoting extracurricular participation as a strategy for character development and prevention of risk behaviors in schools..

Abstract

Lifestyle changes and increased public awareness of health have become key drivers of growing interest in sports. However, based on the 2023 Sports Development Index (IPO), public participation in sports has declined from 28.6% (2021) to 25.4% (2023). In the martial arts context, public participation in Taekwondo is only 0.2%, indicating low engagement. This study examines the influence of Knowledge Management (KM) and Learning Organization (LO) on Innovation and Organizational Performance (OP) in Taekwondo dojangs in DKI Jakarta. Using a quantitative survey and Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data were collected from 131 certified coaches. The measurement model demonstrated strong reliability and validity. The results show that KM and LO significantly enhance Innovation, indicating that effective knowledge sharing and continuous learning practices foster new training approaches and organizational improvements. However, KM and LO do not directly affect OP, and Innovation also shows no significant impact on performance. Moreover, Innovation does not mediate the relationship between KM or LO and OP. These findings suggest that while dojangs successfully develop internal capabilities for innovation, such innovations remain incremental and are not yet strategic enough to improve organizational performance. The study highlights the need for more comprehensive and strategic innovation efforts to achieve measurable performance outcomes.
