Abstract

The A traditional heritage site called Selogending Kandangan is situated in Krajan Hamlet, Kandangan Village, and Senduro District. While having immense potential, the Selogending Kandangan property is currently in terrible condition and unsuitable for domestic and international tourism use. A traditional village ritual known as the Unan-unan village activity, which is performed annually as well as every Hindu year or, to put it more simply, once every five years in the Christian calendar, is performed at the Selogending Kandangan location. The people of Kandangan did not realize this condition, so the Pokdarwis and Karang Taruna through our assistance tried to revive the cultural heritage of the Selogending Kandangan site. The initial step taken by Pokdarwis and Karang Taruna was to form an organizational structure which has not been working so far. The organizational structure has actually been formed several years ago, but there is no work application. Overall, the program implemented by the Pokdarwis and Karang Taruna was carried out according to plan, even though there were internal and external obstacles. The organizational structure that has been formed will propose to the village meeting that the selogending stable site is planned for next year.

Eco-Islamic boarding schools or green Islamic boarding schools are efforts to provide a "green" label for Islamic boarding schools that have a contribution to environmental and natural conservation. Assistance for students at the Munzalan Mubarokah Islamic Boarding School in realizing eco-Islamic boarding schools is carried out with two programs, namely the land use program and the waste and garbage program. The method used in this assistance uses the ABCD approach method. The results of the assistance of the santri to create an eco-Islamic boarding school are as follows: the first activity is to use the land to become a vegetable garden, namely leek and strawberry plants. This activity went well and was implemented by 90%. The second activity of chicken coop renovation has been carried out 100%. The third activity is sorting organic and inorganic waste and making trash bins. The activities of sorting organic and inorganic waste can already be carried out by students, although some are still not used to it. Abstract

Stunting is one of the nutrition problems that is a national priority today. Stunting occurs as a result of a lack of nutritional intake, recurrent infectious diseases and inadequate family factors or psychosocial factors, especially in the first 1000 days of life. Adolescents, as prospective parents, will give birth to the next generation and need to have adequate knowledge about health, nutrition and stunting so that nutritional deficiencies do not occur, especially in the first 1000 days of life. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge, attitudes and behaviour of adolescents in preventing stunting, especially in the first 1000 days of life, through the formation of the "REDAKZI PENTING" community (Teenagers Aware of Health, Nutrition and Care for Stunting). Activities were carried out in Tambak Oso Village Sidoarjo using the CBR method involving village community stakeholders and Tambak Oso Village Health workers. Teenagers are given reproductive health education, adolescent nutrition, and stunting as a provision for the Redakzi Penting community. The knowledge gained by adolescents in Health Education activities will be conveyed to other communities so that community awareness, especially adolescents, towards health and stunting increases.

Abstract

Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) remains a behaviorally-based health issue prioritized by government interventions, with the principal determinants being a lack of information and education on reproductive health, shifts in adolescent behavior, inadequate health services, and unsupportive regulations. The community service conducted in Tambaksumur Village, Sidoarjo District in 2023, was structured around the integration of the P-Process model and Community Based Research (CBR) aimed at enhancing adolescents' knowledge and attitudes related to ARH, and at formulating approaches for internalizing the functions of health promotion and education within the Karang Taruna organization. The service outcomes indicated that through peer-education activities, there were significant differences in the knowledge and attitudes of the targeted adolescent group before and after the intervention, with 2-tailed significance values of 0.010 (knowledge) and 0.020 (attitude). The sustainability of Karang Taruna's ARH-focused programs can be maintained through the integration of the Adolescent Posyandu program with Karang Taruna, coupled with continuous support and guidance from health academics.
