Abstract

Asphyxia is one of the causes of neonatal death. The causes of asphyxia neonatorum consist of maternal factors, placental factors, fetal factors and labor factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants of the incidence of asphyxia neonatorum in Dr. M. Yunus hospital Bengkulu. Design of this study uses a case control study with a retrospective approach. The population in this study were all newborns recorded in the perinatology room register at Dr. M. Yunus hospital Bengkulu in 2020 and 2021, as many as 577 newborns. The case sample in the case sampling technique was total sampling with a total of 186 newborns with asphyxia. The control sample was taken with a ratio of 1:1 so that the control sample was 186 newborns who did not have asphyxia. The results of statistical tests showed that maternal age, amniotic fluid mixed meconium, prolonged labor and type of delivery with p value <0.05, which means that there are a relationship with the incidence of asphyxia in newborns. The results of statistical tests on breech position and placenta previa showed p value >0.05, which means that there are no relationship to the incidence of asphyxia in newborns. The most influential factor with the incidence of asphyxia was amniotic fluid mixed meconium with an OR value of 3.798. It is necessary to increase the ability of midwives in providing services and delivery assistance, especially in the event of amniotic fluid mixed meconium through education and training both internally and externally through seminars or special training.

Abstract

The early intervention detection stimulation program for Stimulation, Detection, and Early Intervention of Growth and Development or Stimulasi, Deteksi dan lntervensi Dini Tumbuh Kembang Anak (SDIDTK) is a comprehensive and quality child development program. SDIDTK success indicator in Bengkulu city is still 70.07%, which is not sufficient to achieve the indicator applied by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, which is 90% of the total population. This study aimed to determine the factors that influence the low implementation of SDIDTK at the Community Health Centre in Bengkulu City. This study used a qualitative research method with in-depth interviews. Informants were the head of the community health centres or Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat (Puskesmas), coordinator midwives, and midwives who handled the SDIDTK program at the Penurunan, Anggut Atas, and Lingkar Barat Community Health Centre. This study found that the number of health workers in 1 puskesmas was lacking, SDIDTK program holders in 2 Puskesmas had not received training, in 2020, 2 puskesmas did not run integrated healthcare centres or Pos Pelayanan Terpadu (Posyandu) and SDIDTK due to COVID-19. The availability of facilities and infrastructure was quite good, but it had not been used optimally by health workers. There was already a budget from the Health Operational Assistance or Bantuan Operasional Kesehatan (BOK) for health workers' transportation when they visited the field. It is expected that puskesmas will provide opportunities for health workers, especially midwives, to receive training in the implementation of SDIDTK.

Abstract

Ergonomics is essential to study because it can avoid fatigue and muscle injuries affecting employee performance. One of the diseases caused by ergonomics is the complaint of MsDs. There is an effect of the ergonomic technique on the ability to reduce MsDs complaints in tailors in Bengkulu and Jakarta. This research to know the ergonomic of the sewers and to identify the complains MsDs before and after intervention and the influence of the true ergonomic intervention toward the compalains of MsDs. The research uses a quantitative survey design with a quasi-experimental approach to non-randomized control group pre-test-post-testing (training intervention group respondents using a module on ergonomic techniques when sewing) and observing ergonomic practices when sewing. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate. Research results in ergonomic variables: Bengkulu City before treatment mean 7.55 after treatment 12.05. The city of Jakarta before the treatment means 7.50. After treatment, the mean is 11.0. MsDs complaint variable: Bengkulu city before treatment mean 63.8 and after treatment mean 45.3. The city of Jakarta before treatment means 64.82 after treatment means 45.3. Suggestions are expected that the tailors in the treatment group use a module that the tailor has received to be a guide in sewing work to minimize MsDs complaints.

Data were analyzed using the dependent T-test, and Wilcoxon signed rank test. There is a difference in the average knowledge score and attitudes before and after being given individual method health education with leaflet media. There is a significant difference between the two groups with ?= 0.000. It means that there is a significant effect on individual method health education with leaflet media on knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about Hepatitis B at the Sidodadi Health Center in 2022, with a mean difference of 3.47 on the knowledge variable and 5.65 on the attitude variable. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of William Flexion Exercise (WFE) on lower back pain for nurses at RSUD Dr.M. Yunus Bengkulu City. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a pre-post test design with control group, the sample is inpatient nurses in Seruni and Melati rooms at RSUD Dr. M. Yunus City of Bengkulu, totaling 28 people using Purposive Sampling technique. The results showed that the average value of low back pain before being given intervention in the intervention group was 6.00 while the average value of low back pain before being given intervention in the control group was 5.00. There is a difference in the average value of low back pain in the intervention group 1.00 and the control group 2.00.
