Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the need for thematic digital teaching materials based on character education, (2) to describe the results of the validity of lesson plan products and digital teaching materials by expert judgment and stakeholders, (3) to describe the results of effectiveness tests of thematic digital teaching materials based on character education . This research is qualitative and quantitative research using the development method or Research and Development (R&D). The instruments used were interviews, observation and document analysis. The research subjects were sixth grade students at SD Negeri Kemadang Tanjungsari, SD Negeri Rejosari Tanjungsari, and SD Muhammadiyah Kemadang Tanjungsari. This research methodology is based on the Borg & Gall development model (simplification of Sukmadinata). The development procedure used in this research consists of 3 stages, namely: (1) preliminary study, (2) model development, and (3) model testing. The results of this research are (1) Based on the results of interviews with students and teachers, observations and document analysis, it shows that digital teaching materials are really needed for effective and interesting learning (2) it produces 2 products, namely lesson plans and thematic teaching materials based on character education which have been validated by 1 expert judgment person and 2 stakeholders. (3) The final product of digital teaching materials is declared suitable for use.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to: (1) describe the analysis of the digital teaching materials needed in Tri-N teaching-based learning to develop English language proficiency in elementary schools; (2) describe the feasibility of digital teaching materials based on Tri-N teachings from experts and stakeholders; and (3) describe digital teaching materials based on Tri-N teachings that are efficient for improving elementary students' English competence. A new English learning tool and instructional materials were developed as part of this study. The development approach, often known as research and development (R&D), is being used in this qualitative and quantitative research. Interviews, questionnaires, and observation were the tools employed. Students in grades 5 at SDN Planjan II, SDN Planjan 1, and SDN Monggol served as the research subjects. The development model of Borg & Gall (2003: 775) served as the foundation for the research methods. The study's development process was divided into 10 stages, including research and data gathering, planning, development of the initial form of the product, initial field trials, product revision, field trials, operational product revisions, operational field trials, final product revisions, and dissemination. The results of this research show (1) an analysis of the need for digital teaching materials in Tri-N teaching-based learning to develop English language competence in elementary schools is very necessary. (2) RPP and digital supplementary teaching materials based on Tri-N teachings to be used as teaching materials for extracurricular English activities in elementary schools are feasible based on validation results by 1 expert and 2 stakeholders. The average score obtained was a percentage of 88.6% from expert validation which was categorized as "Very Eligible" and a percentage of 90.36% from stakeholder validation which was categorized as "Very Eligible". (3) The final product of digital teaching materials is declared suitable for use with a sig value. (2 tailed) is <0.05, then Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted so that there is a significant influence of the use of digital teaching materials on learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan instrumen penilaian penalaran kritis dalam menggunakan smartphone untuk siswa sekolah dasar; mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen; dan mengetahui penalaran kritis siswa sekolah dasar dalam menggunakan smartphone. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini adalah menentukan kajian teori; menentukan indikator; menyusun kisi-kisi instrumen; menyusun butir instrumen; validasi instrumen oleh Expert Judgment; uji empiris I (uji keterbacaan); uji empiris II (uji reliabilitas dan konstruk); instrumen final; dan uji empiris III (implementasi, menginterpretasikan hasil pengukuran). Uji validitas isi menggunakan indeks Aiken, sedangkan reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach Alpha. Responden untuk uji empiris II sebanyak 125 siswa sekolah dasar di Gunungkidul, dan 133 siswa untuk uji empiris III. Hasil penelitian adalah instrumen akhir terbagi menjadi 5 faktor dengan 22 butir pernyataan menggunakan skala Likert dengan 4 kriteria; kualitas instrumen dengan V Aiken 0,89 pada kategori “tinggi” dan reliabilitas 0,816 pada kategori “kuat”; dan hasil dari implementasi instrumen adalah 44,4% pada kategori “sangat tinggi”; 53,4% pada kategori “tinggi”; 2,2% pada kategori “rendah”; dan 0% pada kategori “sangat rendah”.   The objectives of this research are produce an instrument for assessing critical reasoning in using smartphones for elementary school students; knowing the validity and reliability of the instrument; and knowing the critical reasoning of elementary school students in using smartphones. The stages in this research are determining the theoretical study; determine indicators; compiling the instrument grid; compiling instrument items; instrument validation by Expert Judgment; empirical test I (readability test); empirical test II (reliability and construct test); final instrument; and empirical test III (implementation, interpreting measurement results). Test content validity using the Aiken index while reliability using Cronbach Alpha. Respondents for the second empirical test were 125 students of elementary schools in Gunungkidul, and 133 students for the third empirical test. The research results are the final instrument is divided into 5 factors with 22 statement items using a Likert scale with 4  criteria; the quality of the instrument with V Aiken 0.89 in the "high" category and reliability of 0.816 in the "strong" category; and the results from instrument implementation were 44.4% in the "very high" category; 53.4% ​is in the “high”; 2.2% is in the "low"; and 0% is in the “very low” category.

Abstract

The research objectives is to produce an instrument for assessing self-confidence in appropriate learning, knowing the quality of the assessment instrument, and knowing the results of the instrument that has been tested on students. This type of research is development research (Research & Development). The data collection technique for this research is a student self-assessment questionnaire with a cluster random sampling technique of 100 for limited trials and 150 for expanded trials. The results of the research show that the instrument for assessing self-confidence in learning that was developed is suitable for use with elementary school students. The results of the instrument validity test using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) showed a KMO MSA value of 0.716, the results of the instrument reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha showed a reliability value of 0.758. These results prove that the self-confidence assessment instrument is valid and reliable. The results of the assessment on the application test of 53 students showed that the attitude of self-confidence in the aspect of self-ability was 86.79% entrenched and 13.21% developed, the attitude of self-confidence in the aspect of responsibility was 94.34% entrenched and 5.66% developed, the attitude of trust in the aspect of communication skills, 84.91% are cultured and 15.09% are developing.

Abstract

Mathematics learning outcomes are still said to be low, because many students have not yet reached the KKM. Many factors can influence student learning outcomes in mathematics such as student interest in learning, learning motivation, and student learning creativity. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of applying the magazine trick in mathematics to improve student learning achievement. The population of this study consisted of 8 students who were class VI students from elementary schools in Gunungkidul. With a quantitative approach, Pre-Experimental Design type of experiment. Research results show that the magazine trick can influence students' learning interest, learning motivation and learning creativity, which supports an increase in achievement or learning outcomes. There was an increase in the average value of 28.75, from 28.75 to 86.25.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas V dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklusnya meliputi empat tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika. Pada siklus I, persentase ketuntasan klasikal siswa mencapai 55%. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan dan pelaksanaan siklus II, persentase ketuntasan klasikal meningkat signifikan menjadi 95%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model Think Pair Share efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dan hasil belajar matematika.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan model Think Pair Share secara signifikan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di kelas V. Disarankan bagi para guru untuk mempertimbangkan penggunaan model ini sebagai solusi alternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk mengatasi rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar siswa.   This study aims to improve students' activities and learning outcomes in learning grade V mathematics by applying the Think Pair Share learning model. The type of research used is classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each cycle includes four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were grade V students with data collection techniques in the form of tests, observations, field notes, and documentation. The results showed that the application of the Think Pair Share model could improve the quality of mathematics learning. In cycle I, the percentage of students' classical completeness reached 55%. After the improvement and implementation of cycle II, the percentage of classical completeness increased significantly to 95%. This finding shows that the Think Pair Share model is effective in increasing students' active participation and mathematics learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Think Pair Share model significantly improves the quality of mathematics learning in grade V. It is recommended that teachers consider using the Think Pair Share model to improve the quality of mathematics learning. It is recommended that teachers to consider using this model as an alternative solution in learning mathematics to overcome the low interest and learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Character is an important aspect that needs to be developed at this time, considering that various challenges and obstacles that come from outside are very dangerous for the character condition of Indonesian children. The aim of this research is to determine students' perceptions and implementation regarding the importance of character in strengthening digital literacy-based character education through internalizing the teachings of Tamansiswa Tri-Nga. Character education must be carried out well and continuously. The strengthening of character education carried out at SDN Klumpit through digital literacy-based character education through the internalization of Tri-Nga Tamansiswa teachings has gone well but needs to be carried out continuously so that students not only understand, but also have to achieve. action so that the value of love for one's country can be embedded among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) Kebutuhan guru dan peserta didik terhadap pengembangan kartu huruf bimbar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 2) Pengembangan kartu huruf bimbar, 3) Kelayakan kartu huruf bimbar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan, 4) Respon siswa terhadap kartu huruf bimbar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan.Metode  penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan menggunakan model pendekatan 4D. Tujuan menggunakan model 4D dalam pengembangan kartu huruf bimbar yaitu untuk merancang, mengembangkan  dan menyebarluaskan perangkat pembelajaran yang efektif. Model 4D terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan), dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti berupa observasi, wawancara, lembar angket, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji validasi yang terdiri 2 uji validitas yaitu validasi ahli media dan uji validasi materi, serta penilaian validasi guru kelas dan respon siswa. Penilain  validasi menggunakan instrument angket dengan menggunakan skala pengukuran skala likert. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa guru belum menggunakan media yang bervariasi dalam mengajarkan membaca permulaan, keterampilan membaca permulaan peserta didik masih rendah, peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenal huruf abjad, dan terdapat peserta didik yang belum lancar membaca permulaan. Untuk itu dibutuhkan suatu media kartu huruf bimbar yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1. Pengembangan kartu huruf bimbar terdapat 4 tahapan yaitu tahap pertama dilakukan analisis kebutuhan guru dan peserta didik, kemudian tahap perancangan kartu huruf bimbar, tahap selanjutnya dilakukan uji validitas dan uji respon siswa. Pengolahan data yang telah diperoleh berupa 1) Hasil validasi  pertama ahli media dengan skor 87. 2) setelah revisi uji validasi media kedua dengan dengan skore 93 . 3) Hasil validasi materi dengan skor 88, 4) Hasil validasi guru kelas dengaan skor 98 , dan 4) Hasil respon siswa dengan skor 92. Hasil semua validasi dan respon siswa terhadap kartu huruf bimbar dinyatakan sangat  layak dan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa Indoneisia khususnya untuk keterampilan membaca  permulaan kelas I SD 4 Kotagede Yogyakarta. This research aims at 1) Teachers' and students' needs for the development of letter cards in improving the beginning reading skills of grade 2 students). The research method used in this research is the Research and Development (RnD) method using the 4D approach model. The purpose of using the 4D model in developing letter cards is to design, develop and disseminate effective learning tools. The 4D model consists of 4 stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Data collection techniques used by researchers were observation, interviews, questionnaire sheets, and documentation. This study uses a validation test consisting of 2 validity tests, namely media expert validation and material validation tests, as well as classroom teacher validation assessments and student responses. The validation assessment uses a questionnaire instrument using a Likert scale measurement scale. The results obtained from the research show that teachers have not used a variety of media in teaching beginning reading, students' beginning reading skills are still low, students have difficulty recognizing alphabets, and there are students who are not fluent in reading.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji pembentukan karakter profil pelajar pancasila pada siswa SD melewati pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan adalah dengan cara mengumpulkan dokumen dan literatur sebagai sumber data. Dalam upaya pengumpulan data, dilakukan studi literatur dengan mencari sumber-sumber tertulis seperti majalah, arsip, buku, dokumen, jurnal, dan artikel yang berkaitan dengan pembentukan karakter profil pelajar Pancasila pada siswa SD melalui pembelajaran IPA. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif dan berkelanjutan hingga mencapai titik jenuh. Tahapan analisis data mencakup display data, reduksi data, dan verifikasi serta kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Pembelajaran IPA (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam) dan pembentukan karakter profil pelajar Pancasila memiliki keterkaitan dan saling mempengaruhi. Pembelajaran IPA membantu pembentukan karakteristik sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Selain itu, pembelajaran IPA juga membantu siswa untuk memperoleh pemahaman tentang nilai-nilai Pancasila dan mengimplementasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran dapat berhasil dan berjalan dengan baik, apabila guru mempunyai inisiatif dan langkah yang tepat dalam hal mendorong siswa aktif dalam belajar dan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang memadai kepada siswa. Salah satu bentuk inisiatif guru adalah dengan mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Salah satu media digital yang dapat dikembangkan adalah digital storytelling dengan memanfaatkan Googleslides. Bercerita digital berbasis Googleslide diharapkan dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan akhlak mulia. Analisis data penelitian dan pengembangan digunakan dalam hal ini. Perkembangan digital storytelling dapat meningkatkan karakter moral di Sekolah Dasar
