Abstract

During pregnancy, various events often occur, including hypertension. Therefore, hypertension needs to be treated and controlled. Hypertension in Pregnancy (HDK) is a major cause of maternal death. Pregnancy is a physiological process. The definition of pregnancy is fertilization or the union of spermatozoa and ovum, followed by nidation or implantation. The process of changes that occur will cause an imbalance of estrogen and progesterone hormones in the mother's body during pregnancy, including hypertension. The condition of a pregnant woman with hypertension is when she experiences an increase in systolic or diastolic blood pressure greater than 140/90 mmHg. Hypertension treatment can be done pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of providing foot soak therapy with red ginger decoction on high blood pressure in pregnant women at the Guntur Garut Community Health Center in 2025, using a quasi-experimental method, with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 20 respondents. The average blood pressure of hypertensive clients before the foot soak therapy with red ginger decoction was 165.16 mmHg while the average blood pressure after the foot soak therapy with red ginger decoction was 159.63 mmHg, with a t-test obtained a p-value of 0.001. Conclusion: There is an effect of providing foot soak therapy with red ginger decoction on high blood pressure in pregnant women at the Guntur Community Health Center in 2025. Abstract

Reformed Epistemology successfully defends the rationality of Christian belief against evidentialist objections. Plantinga demonstrates that belief in God can be properly basic and warranted without inferential justification. But this apologetic achievement leaves a methodological gap: believers know they are rational to believe, yet lack rigorous tools for adjudicating between competing doctrines. Both Calvinist and Arminian can claim warranted beliefs about salvation; Reformed Epistemology offers no criteria for choosing between them. This paper argues that Anselm's fides quaerens intellectum fills precisely this gap. Beginning with faith and deploying reason to explore internal coherence, Anselmian method provides constructive theological tools that complement Reformed Epistemology's defensive posture. Three case studies demonstrate the method's utility: the logical order of salvation, the relationship between justification and sanctification, and the grounds of assurance. In each case, Anselmian analysis clarifies underlying commitments, reveals logical structures, and enables more productive theological dialogue. The paper concludes that this medieval method addresses a critical need in contemporary evangelical thought—transforming apologetic defense into constructive systematic theology.

Abstract

Flood disasters have a significant impact on human life, both physically and psychologically. Children are a vulnerable group at higher risk during and after a disaster. The most common psychological effect after a disaster is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The purpose of this study was to detect PTSD early in children who were victims of flood disasters. This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach . A total of 61 child flood victims were involved in the study. The study was conducted in Southeast Aceh Regency, one of the worst flood locations in Aceh Province in 2025. The instrument used was the PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5), which consists of 20 questions. The results showed that 39.3% of children experienced PTSD, while 60.7% did not experience PTSD. The incidence of PTSD increased from one week after the disaster, characterized by symptoms of re-experiencing the traumatic experience, avoidance, negative changes in mood and cognition, and hyperarousal. Age, gender, and level of exposure also risk factors influence the emergence of PTSD in children. It is recommended that health workers provide immediate treatment to child victims of disasters.

Abstract

This study investigates the types, prevalence, and intensity of ectoparasites and endoparasites in vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) farmed in intensive ponds in Lamteungoh Village, Peukan Bada District, Aceh Besar. A total of 40 shrimp were collected using purposive sampling. Parasite observations were conducted on shrimp organs including the head, gills, walking legs, swimming legs, and tail. Three ectoparasites were identified: Vorticella sp., Zoothamnium sp., and Epistylis sp., while no endoparasites were found. Vorticella sp. showed the highest prevalence at 100% and intensity at 19.35 individuals per shrimp. The tail was most frequently infected, with a prevalence of 82.5% and intensity of 9.81 individuals. Water quality data showed pH 6, temperature 26–27°C, salinity 25 ppt, and DO 2.4–2.6 ppm, which are considered suboptimal. Low dissolved oxygen levels and poor water conditions likely contributed to parasite proliferation. The absence of endoparasites may be linked to good management and the use of high-quality seed. This research provides useful insight into parasite threats in shrimp farming and underscores the importance of maintaining water quality for disease prevention and productivity.

Abstract

Indonesia’s National Health Insurance program (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional, JKN) applies the INA-CBGs payment system for inpatient services to improve efficiency and cost containment. However, hospitals frequently experience pending inpatient claims, resulting in delayed reimbursement by BPJS Kesehatan and potential disruptions to hospital operations and financial sustainability. Existing studies examining pending claims are largely fragmented and context-specific, highlighting the need for a comprehensive synthesis of available evidence. This study aimed to systematically review and synthesize empirical evidence on factors contributing to pending inpatient claims within the JKN system and to develop evidence-based recommendations for improving claim management. A systematic literature review was conducted in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Literature searches were performed in PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, and Garuda databases for studies published between 2014 and 2025. Quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods studies conducted in Indonesian hospitals that examined causes or determinants of pending inpatient claims were included. Methodological quality was assessed using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Critical Appraisal Tools. A total of nine eligible articles met the inclusion criteria and were synthesized using narrative and thematic analysis, (Amanda & Sonia, 2023). The review of nine studies demonstrated that pending inpatient claims arise from multiple interrelated factors. Administrative issues, particularly incomplete and inconsistent claim documentation, were the most frequently reported causes. Technical and clinical factors—such as discrepancies in diagnosis and procedure coding and incomplete medical records—also played a significant role. Human resource-related factors, including limited coder competency, insufficient training on INA-CBGs, and high workload, further increased the likelihood of claim errors. In addition, limitations in hospital information systems and inadequate integration with BPJS Kesehatan claim platforms contributed to delays in claim verification. Pending claims were consistently reported to adversely affect hospital cash flow, operational efficiency, and service continuity. Pending inpatient claims within the JKN system represent a persistent and systemic challenge across Indonesian hospitals. Findings from the nine reviewed studies indicate that reducing pending claims requires integrated improvements in administrative processes, coding accuracy, medical record completeness, human resource capacity, and health information system integration. Strengthening internal claim audits, continuous staff training, and effective coordination between hospitals and BPJS Kesehatan are essential strategies to mitigate the occurrence of pending inpatient claims.
