Abstract

This research examines the implementation of Alfamart's marketing communication strategy in increasing sales through the Alfagift application. This research aims to analyze the marketing communication strategy carried out by Alfamart through the Alfagift application. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and makes observations on the Alfagift application and the services provided by Alfamart staff to increase sales. The results of this research show that Alfamart's marketing communication strategy in increasing sales through the Alfagift application is running optimally, there are 2 strategies in an effort to increase sales, namely an attractive strategy and a pushing strategy carried out by Alfamart. Apart from that, there are attractions that the Alfagift application has, such as discount promos that can only be enjoyed if you shop on the Alfagift application, ease of shopping with ready-to-deliver services, as well as a feature with a point number that customers can have every time they shop on the Alfagift application. Later it can be exchanged for a discount on your next purchase. The significant increase in Alfamart Semambung sales in 2020 will be a benchmark for the success of marketing communication strategies in increasing sales by 30% through the Alfagift application.

Abstract

A green city is a city with good planning that has an environmentally friendly character and seeks to manage its resources for everything that focuses on environmental balance. In an effort to create a green city, various planning and implementation programs have been and are being carried out, both by the government, private sector and also the community in order to realize the concept of a green city. One form of sustainable program to support, this is known as the Green City Development Program (Program Pengembangan Kota Hijau) or more easily abbreviated as P2KH which refers to the Regional Spatial Planning Plan (Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah) or abbreviated as RTRW. Green cities themselves have indicators called eight (8) green city attributes, including: green open space, green waste, green transportation, green water, green energy, green building, green community, and green planning and design. The background on this research is presented in three criteria, including empirical problems, theoretical frameworks, and legal foundations used as references or legal guidelines for implementing the green city concept. It is known that the complexity of society's demands increases as the population increases. This of course becomes a challenge in managing environmental resources. Problems such as traffic jams, air pollution, increasing volumes of waste, slums, flooding and other social inequality problems, which of course with the increasing population, logically result in the living area becoming increasingly narrow. What happened in Malang City is no exception. Malang City has great potential for better services, especially in the context of realizing a green city. The research results show that there are eight green city attributes that have been implemented in several activities in Malang City. In practice, these eight attributes need continuous development. The concept of a green city is not a simple concept that can be planned once and then realized, it is a holistic, continuous and sustainable concept. Therefore, this research provides an in-depth look at strategies for developing green city attributes in Malang City using a qualitative approach. The strategy for developing green city attributes in the city of Malang is carried out through the SOAR and SWOT analysis stage, the development stage, the role enhancement stage, the support and development stage of appropriate technology, coordination and synergy between actors, as well as evaluation and supervision in improving the quality of the green environment and public awareness of development of the green city concept in Malang City.

Abstract

The advancement of internet-based information technology has made online social networks essential for general elections. Social media plays a positive role by increasing voter participation in politics. This study aims to analyze voter preferences regarding the use of social media during elections and to examine how artificial intelligence applications can be employed to engage voters. The research involves conducting surveys and performing system analyses. The results indicate that social media influences 59.3% of voters, establishing it as the primary platform for political information and communication. Artificial intelligence-based applications are designed to attract young voters through innovative interactions and personalized experiences. These applications can serve as effective modern campaign tools to reach a broader audience of voters

Abstract

Grebeg Suro is an important tradition in Javanese culture which is carried out in Gerbo Village, Pasuruan Regency. This tradition combines religious, cultural and social elements, and is a symbol of togetherness and cultural identity of the local community. This research uses the Symbolic Convergence Theory (SCT) approach to analyze the symbolic meaning and communication processes that occur in the Grebeg Suro tradition. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The research results show that the Grebeg Suro tradition not only functions as a religious celebration, but also as a means of strengthening social relations between village residents and strengthening their cultural identity. Analysis using SCT revealed fantasy themes such as togetherness and cultural identity that emerged in group communication during the Grebeg Suro event. The symbols in this tradition, praying together, sharing food, have deep meanings that reflect the cultural and religious values of the Javanese people in Gerbo Village. This research provides insight into the importance of the Grebeg Suro tradition in maintaining and strengthening social ties and cultural identity of the Gerbo Village community. It is hoped that the results can become a reference for efforts to preserve local culture and develop cultural communication studies.

Abstract

The government implements the idea of e-government in order to meet the demands of its people for excellent service. The Sidoarjo District Population and Civil Registration Office has endeavored to improve excellent service in the field of population administration through a website called Service Via Online (PLAVON) as a form of e-government implementation. One of the types of population documents that can be submitted is the Electronic Identity Card (E-KTP). This study aims to describe the application of excellent service in the processing of Electronic Identity Cards (E-KTP) through the PLAVON website at the Sidoarjo Regency Public Service Mall (MPP) and uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The focus of the research uses the theory of e-government service quality (E-Govqual) according to Ari et al. (2021). The results showed: (1) efficiency, the PLAVON website is easy to access and uses language that is easy to understand; (2) reliability, services are completed on time; (3) trust, the PLAVON website has a guaranteed security system; (4) community support, the attitude of employees who can help applicants who have difficulties when making applications; (5) system quality, the website can function properly and does not error. A number of obstacles were also found such as the lack of up-to-date information on the flow of service procedures, uncomfortable waiting room conditions, limited number of employees, and unattractive website display.

Abstract

Government public relations has a very crucial role in maintaining a positive image of the institution, one of which is through media relations strategies. This research aims to determine the Bekasi City Government Public Relations media relations strategy in improving the institution's image referring to media relations strategy theory with three indicators; managing relationships, developing strategies, and developing networks. The research approach used is qualitative with a case study method. Data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that Bekasi City Government Public Relations implements a media relations strategy through intensive communication with the media both verbally and non-verbally, carrying out media relations activities such as coffee mornings, press conferences and press releases. In developing the strategy, several efforts have been made, such as creating new concepts, providing the latest information, becoming a valuable resource, and following up on negative news. Meanwhile, at the network development stage, collaboration has been carried out with students, the police, Gojek application providers and the media. This research provides implications for scientific development, especially public relations and has a practical impact in implementing public relations activities through media relations strategies.

Abstract

The role of the Department of Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises in empowering Coffee Shop MSMEs is very influential, making the government take part in empowerment. The aim of this research is to analyze the role of the Sidoarjo Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Service, analyze the factors that influence the empowerment of Coffee Shop MSMEs in Sidoarjo and analyze the efforts of the Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Service in empowering Coffee Shop MSMEs. This research uses qualitative methods. The results of this research are that the role of the Sidoarjo Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Service is not good enough in terms of capital and innovation in empowering Coffee Shop MSMEs. However, business actors are still not utilizing the capital facilities provided in terms of access to capital. The advice given is to carry out supervision by the Department during this period in the continuity of empowerment which is carried out so that there is continuity for MSME actors, especially in the Coffee Shop MSMEs in Sidoarjo Regency, providing guidance to MSME actors to always be optimistic in developing their businesses in order to create advanced and independent MSMEs so that more employment is being absorbed.The role of the Department of Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises in empowering Coffee Shop MSMEs is very influential, making the government take part in empowerment. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Sinau Bareng program by the Surabaya City Education Office in improving learning creativity in the community. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, through in-depth interviews and direct observation of program participants, including students, teachers, and parents. The results of the study indicate that the Sinau Bareng program has succeeded in creating a conducive and interactive learning environment, which encourages student creativity in the learning process. This program not only helps students catch up on their academic achievements after the COVID-19 pandemic, but also provides space for students from underprivileged families to get additional tutoring. In addition, this program is effective in reactivating the function of the RW hall as a center for educational and social activities, as well as reducing students' dependence on the use of gadgets by providing alternative interesting and creative learning activities. In conclusion, the Sinau Bareng program is an effective strategy in improving learning creativity in the Surabaya community and can be used as a model for similar programs in other areas

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Manpower Office's efforts in reducing labor conflicts in the city of Surabaya and to analyze the obstacles and barriers experienced by the Manpower Office in making its efforts to reduce existing labor conflicts. The focus of the problem in this study is (1) Efforts of the Manpower Office in reducing labor conflicts in the city of Surabaya (2) Supporting and Inhibiting Factors of the Manpower Office in reducing Labor Conflicts in the city of Surabaya. The type of research uses a descriptive method. The data collection method used is the interview method, and the documentation method and the data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. While the research approach used is Qualitative research. In analyzing the data, the author uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions from the data. The results of this study indicate that the Surabaya City Manpower Office has tried and made various efforts to reduce labor conflicts but there are still various obstacles faced such as (1) lack of coordination between institutions (2) Low awareness of labor regulations (3) Weak law enforcement. Employment Conflicts have yet to show a significant decline. More Comprehensive and Sustainable Efforts are needed from all relevant parties to resolve this problem completely

Abstract

Vapor technology emerged and invaded the conventional smoking lifestyle, especially among young people. The high level of competition in the retail vape sales business triggers business actors to make various innovations in order to maintain their business. This study examines the application of customer relations strategies through the @smvapeindonesiagroup account at SM Vape Store Indonesia to maintain customer loyalty. The purpose of this study is to determine the costumer relations strategy through the @smvapeindonesiagroup account at SM Vape Store Indonesia to maintain customer loyalty. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The primary data source in this research is Ady Yudha Kurniawan as Person In-charge (PIC) of SM Vape Store Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the customer relations strategy through the @smvapeindonesiagroup account at SM Vape Store Indonesia to maintain customer loyalty has been carried out optimally, by utilizing the IDIC method, the method is identify, differentiate, interact, and customize which makes SM Vape Store Indonesia have many loyal customers.
