Background: Pregnancy is a period that starts from conception to the birth of the fetus. Third trimester of pregnancy, which is the last 3 months of pregnancy which starts from the 28th week to the 40th week. (Setiawati et al., 2019). Complaints in pregnant women include back pain which is characterized by the enlargement of the uterus affecting the center of gravity, stretching out and bandaging the abdominal muscles, changing body postures, and putting pressure on the back. Therapy Listening to music can produce endorphins (a morphine-like substance supplied by the body which can reduce pain/pain) which can inhibit the transmission of pain impulses in the central nervous system, so that the sensation of pain can be reduced Objective : To determine the effectiveness of the music therapy to reducing low back pain on pregnant women Methodology This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a one group pretest posttest design. The sampling technique was perposive sampling in third trimester pregnant women, totaling 40 respondents. Result and Discussion: The results showed that the median pretest value was 6.00 and the median posttest value was 2.00 with a p value of 0.00 <0.05, this indicated that there was a decrease in back pain before and after the classical music therapy. Conclusion: Mozart classical music therapy has an effect on reducing back pain in third trimester pregnant women.

Objective: This case study was aimed to determine the effect of extracorporeal shockwave therapy, and active finger blocking exercise in one women patient, aged 47 years old with diagnosed of trigger the 4th finger dextra. Methods: This case studies have been carried out 6 times for 2 weeks in one women patient, by evaluating the degree of pain by using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Joint Range of Motion (RoM) by using a goniometer and functional activity ability hands with the Disability of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand (DASH) questionnaire. Results: There was a decrease in the motion pain degree from VAS 7 to VAS 4, and the degree of tenderness pain from VAS 5 to VAS 2. There was an increase active flexion-extension movement of the 4th finger dextra from (S)=25°-0°-50° to (S)=40°-0°-75°, while passive movement from (S)=30°-0 °-60° to (S)=40°-0°-75°. There was a decrease in the value of hand disabilities based on the results of the DASH questionnaire from 24% to 21%. Conclusion: The application of extracorporeal shockwave therapy and active finger blocking exercise can reduce the pain, increase the range of motion and functional abilities patient diagnosed Trigger the 4th Finger condition.

Abstract

Background: The Situation, Background, Assessment And Recommendation (SBAR) method was very effective in increasing the effectiveness of Handover process between shifts or between staff in the same or different clinical areas. The SBAR method was used when nurses carried out the handovers, moved the treatment rooms and reported the patient's condition to the doctor. One of the factors that influenced the implementation of the effectiveness of SBAR communication was the role of room head supervision as a form of learning guidance, sharing experiences, providing motivation and counseling. Objectives: To determine the effect of head nurse’s supervision on the implementation of effective communication (sbar) during the handover process. Methods: This study used a qualitative approach with the Pre-Experimental Experiment method, while the research design was One Grup Design pre-intervention - post-intervention. This research was conducted at a private hospital in Palembang. The data normality test was carried out by using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistical test, while the bivariate analysis used a non-parametric statistical test, namely the Wilxocom test. Results: The results of the study on the implementation of SBAR effective communication showed the results before intervention as much as 100.0% in the poor category, while after the intervention treatment as many as 60.0% in the perfect category. Based on the Wilcoxon signed rank statistical test, the Z value was -3.411 and the asymp sig value. (2-tailed) 0.001 is smaller than the alpha level 5% (0.05) so that Ho was rejected; there is a significant average difference before and after the supervision of the head of the room on the implementation of SBAR effective communication. Suggestion: It is expected to improve the implementation of SBAR effective communication at the time of Handover which is more optimal, especially in the room by resocializing SPO, optimizing the supervision of the head of the room and continuing to attend training, especially on Effective SBAR communication.
