Abstract

The implementation of ISO 9001:2015 as a quality management system standard has become a strategic issue in improving the competitiveness, efficiency, and consistency of organizational quality in the era of globalization and digitalization. However, the effectiveness of its implementation still varies depending on the organizational context, resource readiness, and quality culture. This study aims to systematically review the literature related to the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 to answer the main questions: how it affects organizational performance, how it is integrated with other management systems, and what the challenges and directions for future research are. The method used is a systematic literature review through a search of the Google Scholar and Publish or Perish databases using the keywords "ISO 9001:2015," "quality management systems," and "organizational performance." A total of 27 articles published between 2021 and 2025 were analyzed thematically. The review results show four main trends: the implementation of ISO in various sectors, the impact on performance and productivity, integration with other systems such as TQM and ISO 21001, and implementation challenges related to organizational culture and management commitment. In general, ISO 9001:2015 has been shown to improve organizational efficiency and reputation, but its success depends on the synergy between management, digital technology, and a quality culture. Further research is recommended to examine the integration of digital-based ISO and organizational sustainability.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to improve the ability to use formal and informal language for students at SMK Al-Falah Tanjungjaya as one of the strategies for fostering the Indonesian language. In this study, there are several main focuses, namely the use of formal and informal language by students at SMK Al-Falah Tanjungjaya and the integration of Wayground learning media in Indonesian language learning. This study uses service learning techniques and descriptive research data analysis techniques. The steps carried out in this study include (1) conducting guidance on the use of formal and informal language at SMK Al-Falah Tanjungjaya, (2) analyzing the data results from the guidance, (3) classifying the data results from the guidance, (4) interpreting the data results from the guidance, and (5) developing and concluding the results of the guidance data analysis. The results of the data analysis indicate that the use of Wayground can help improve student understanding.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a high level of disaster vulnerability due to its location at the meeting point of three world tectonic plates and the Pacific Ring of Fire region. The Merdeka Curriculum provides a strategic opportunity in integrating disaster education to equip students with understanding, skills, and responsive attitudes to disaster risks. Through a contextual and participatory approach, schools can become centers of preparedness that not only train students but also strengthen collective awareness in dealing with emergency situations. The purpose of this study is to analyze the synergistic relationship between the Merdeka Curriculum and disaster education to strengthen preparedness in educational units in Indonesia. The method used in this study is a literature study. The results of the study show that the Merdeka Curriculum opens great opportunities for strengthening disaster education through integration in various subjects and strengthening student character in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile. Although there are still implementation challenges, such as limited teacher understanding and lack of national standards, holistic strategies, policy support, and cross-sector collaboration can encourage the realization of effective, sustainable, and contextual disaster education in educational units.

Abstract

This study aims to strengthen the role of students' contributions in improving their understanding of Social Studies (IPS) subjects at SMP Negeri 4 Takalar using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative approach that combines observation, interviews, and initial and final exams to assess the effectiveness of teaching. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the PBL method is successful in improving students' activeness and critical thinking skills in understanding the IPS material, despite challenges such as adaptation to the service and limitations in learning media. The evaluation of this service program emphasizes the importance of good cooperation between universities and schools as well as continuous support for students so that the service provided can provide an optimal impact on improving the quality of education and developing students' interpersonal skills. These findings contribute to the development of active learning strategies that facilitate improving the quality of education at the junior high school level.

Abstract

This article will explain the usage of 21st-century learning for the improvement of historical literacy and students’ character. History class, according to some students, might be considered boring. That is why an entertaining way to teach history is needed to improve students’ historical literacy and make the learning process more engaging and effective. Good historical literacy not only helps students understand the past but also plays a crucial role in shaping their character based on the values embedded in historical subjects. The method used in this article is qualitative, and the analysis is based on various literature sources related to 21st-century learning approaches. The findings highlight how integrating 21st-century learning strategies such as digital tools, interactive activities, and collaborative learning can transform the history learning process. By making history more engaging and interactive, students are not only able to improve their understanding of historical events but also internalize positive character traits, fostering critical thinking, responsibility, and empathy, all of which are essential for their personal development.

Abstract

This study explores the comparison of higher education financing models between Indonesia and several Middle Eastern countries, aiming to understand their impact on educational success. The research employs a qualitative approach, analyzing government budgets, funding mechanisms, and educational outcomes documented in recent reports. Findings indicate significant differences in financing structures, with Middle Eastern countries often allocating higher per-student funding and implementing more diverse financial support systems such as scholarships and public-private partnerships. In contrast, Indonesia faces challenges in equitable fund distribution despite increasing budget allocations. The study reveals that effective financing positively correlates with improved educational infrastructure, faculty quality, and student performance. The implications highlight the need for Indonesia to enhance funding strategies by adopting best practices observed in the Middle East to achieve sustainable educational development and greater academic achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze religious and structural values in Dede Soepriatna's short story "Titah yang Berkuasa" through an integrated religious and structural approach. Employing a qualitative descriptive method with content and structural analysis techniques, this study reveals various spiritual values implicit within the narrative of this contemporary Indonesian literary work. The analysis results demonstrate fundamental religious values such as destiny (qada and qadar), tawakkal (submission to God's will), sacrifice, betrayal, and divine justice. The character Roro Oyi represents spiritual steadfastness and surrender to the Creator amidst life's trials, while King Amangkurat's character critiques the abuse of power that contradicts moral-religious principles. Structurally, the short story presents a complex plot with effectively developed central conflict, multidimensional characterization, and rich symbolism that deepens the spiritual meaning of the narrative. The research findings confirm that literature can function as an effective medium for moral and religious education without sacrificing narrative integrity. The integration of religious and structural approaches provides a holistic perspective in understanding how spiritual messages are conveyed through formal beauty, offering a literary appreciation model that harmoniously combines ethical and aesthetic dimensions.
