Abstract

The success of a lesson is inseparable from the selection of methods presented, one of which is using the demonstration method, where students and teachers must be actively involved in the learning process. The author describes the demonstration method in fiqh learning. 1) How is the effectiveness of the demonstration method in fiqh learning at MTs Negeri Insan Cendekia. 2) How is the effectiveness of the use of demonstration methods in student understanding of fiqh learning by using descriptive analysis so as to determine the effectiveness of the use of demonstration methods in Fiqh subjects. The findings in this study are that students show proficiency because they are able to analyse the material presented by the teacher, but there are obstacles encountered is the presence of inattentive students who are unable to answer questions because of lack of focus.

Abstract

The presence of a child can be a link between couples. However, in fact, some married couples cannot have children, even though they really need children in their domestic life. So the effort to care for or hug a child then becomes an option to get a child even though he is not a natural child. The law states that the purpose of adopting a child is simply to improve the welfare of the child.This research aims to find out and examine Islamic legal regulations regarding the inheritance rights of adopted children. The position of children in Islamic law is still attributed to their biological guardians and not to their adoptive fathers. Moreover, in Islamic inheritance law, adopted children do not get inheritance privileges from the father who supports them, but the freedom of inheritance returns to the biological father of the child being cared for. Children raised in Islam can acquire property from their supportive father through a bequest course and then a mandatory will course. Since taking over, the children and their supportive father have been seen as having been a huge help in their respective lives. Therefore, as a substitute for the freedom inherited from the younger generation, Islamic law provides a way through mandatory gifts and wills.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of social media use on the mental health of university students. Utilizing a qualitative approach, this study analyzes data from in-depth interviews with 10 students from various universities in Indonesia. Thematic analysis reveals that social media use contributes to various aspects of mental health, including anxiety, depression, and self-image disorders. The study identifies that interactions on social media often trigger social comparison and unrealistic expectations about personal life, contributing to a decline in psychological well-being. However, the results also indicate that social media can be a useful tool for supporting mental health, particularly through support communities and awareness of mental health issues. The researchers suggest a need to increase awareness of healthy and constructive social media use among students. This study also emphasizes the importance of mental health education and intervention programs in educational institutions. These results provide insights for policymakers, educators, and mental health practitioners in developing effective strategies to support the mental health of students in the digital era. This study paves the way for further research on the specific impact of social media features and algorithms on student mental health.

Abstract

This research discusses the moral values ​​in Javanese Suluk Poetry under three titles, namely “Serate Pupils”, “Introspection” and “Ojo Dumeh”. In this research the author tries to examine the three suluk titles in everyday life. With social problems becoming more numerous and complicated, this research will relate them to existing social realities and will be linked to the values ​​that exist in Javanese suluk. In this research, we will discuss the moral values ​​of Suluk which are adopted from a literary sociology approach to analyze the moral values ​​contained in Javanese Suluk poetry, especially in two poems entitled “Serate Siswa”, “Introspection” and “Ojo Dumeh” . The focus of this research is on religious, social moral values ​​and human interaction with God as reflected in these literary works. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis techniques to describe and explore information related to the moral values ​​in the two poems. The results of research on the three titles of Syair Suluk Jawa show that the poem “Serate Disciple” emphasizes the importance of manners, simplicity, and respect for others, by describing the relationship between students and teachers as a reflection of the relationship between humans and God. On the other hand, the poems, “Introspection” and “Ojo Dumeh” highlight the wisdom in looking at age and death, reminding people to continue to worship selflessly, and live life humbly. In conclusion, Suluk Javanese poetry, through sociological analysis of literature, is able to convey a deep moral message regarding human relationships with God and others. This research contributes to the understanding of the moral values ​​contained in Javanese literary works, as well as maintaining and introducing the uniqueness of Javanese culture to society.

Abstract

Number carriage game which is a simple math learning activity that is easy to play and can solve or find the sum of the results provided by the educator. The purpose of this study is to describe the results of cognitive development in totaling to group A PAUD KIA-KIRA Sedati Sidoarjo. The data analysis technique uses 3 stages, namely data reduction; data presentation; and conclusions or verification. Then triagulation and validity are carried out. The group studied was Group A (ages 4-5 years) totaling 14 students. Data was collected from the results of observation sheets and field notes.The results showed that the cognitive development of group A PAUD KIA-KIRA in adding up with the numbers carriage game at the stage of development as expected (BSH) but on the indicator symbol of numbers at the stage began to develop (MB). Factors that support the implementation of the number car play activities, namely students who are enthusiastic to play even though there are some who are not familiar with numbers and homeroom teacher support is always helpful while the inhibiting factor is the cognitive ability to read the symbols of student numbers is still lacking, because the media at school is lacking inadequate as well as the lack of creativities educator makes educational props tools (APE).

Abstract

Some children feel tired in learning and sleepy during teaching and learning activities. Class hours on Islamic religious education materials are also at time that cause children to feel sleepy. From this problem comes the saturation of learning that occurs in student. The aim of this research is to find out what the conditions for learning boredom are and what PAI teacher’s strategies are for overcoming learning boredom. The qualitative method is the method that will be used in this research, based on descriptive studies. This type of research in a case study. The research location is centered on Marhalah Tsanawiyah TMI Putri Al-Amien Prenduan. The technique for determining informants uses the purposive method. Data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis through data presentation, data reduction, and conclusions. The results show that the condition of learning boredom is characterized by 3 aspects, namely sleepiness, dizziness and chatting alone. The cause of learning boredom is due to busy activities and too much material. The time when learning boredom occurs during assignments and explanations of material. With learning boredom occurring, teachers use 4 strategies, namely the motivation method, educational punishment method, ice breaking method and integrative method.

Abstract

This research discusses the Economic Token Technique Method for Improving Student Discipline at Muhammadiyah Gresik Elementary School. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the economic token intervention model to help students be more disciplined during the teaching and learning process for grade 2 students at Muhammadiyah Elementary School. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The problem in this research is that students have low disciplinary attitudes when in class and also during the teaching and learning process. This is because the subject is a person who is not comfortable studying and remaining silent in class for a long time. In this problem, to overcome this problem, behavior modification is carried out using the token economy technique. The subject used in this research was 1 boy from class 2 of SD Muhammadiyah Gresik who had a low disciplinary attitude. This research aims to determine the increase in student discipline by modifying behavior using the token economy technique. In the implementation, research subjects were given intervention or treatment in the form of rewards by sticking stickers for 21 days with pretest, intervention and posttest stages, then their disciplinary attitudes were observed and at the end of the session if the target behavior that was changed showed good changes then the subject would be given a reward according to the agreement at the beginning. where the prize is exchanged for the number of stickers obtained during the session. This can be seen from the pretest results, the significance value obtained was 10 and for the posttest results the significance value obtained was 13. Based on the gain score calculation, it showed that the subject experienced an increase of 3 scores from the pretest score of 10 to 13. During the posttest this showed an increase but it was not significant.

Abstract

This article aims to comprehensively explore the management of education financing in schools across Indonesia. The research adopts a literature review approach, gathering data through meticulous source searches and synthesizing information from diverse references, including books, journals, and previous research. The findings of this study reveal that the education budget encompasses the allocation of funds used to facilitate educational services. Whether for public schools or governmental entities (at both central and regional levels), the authority for budget utilization is governed by legal frameworks. Nationally, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) and the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristek Dikti) play pivotal roles in determining the education budget, specifying its sources and objectives. At the regional level, Provincial, District, and City governments, through the Education Service Unit (Satker Dinas Pendidikan), are accountable for planning and overseeing the utilization of education budgets in line with their respective jurisdictions and discretion. Simultaneously, at the school level, active involvement in planning and executing agreed-upon school programs funded by the budget is undertaken by the school principal in collaboration with the school community.

Abstract

Traditional games play a crucial role in enriching character values and culture among children. In this paper, the involvement of traditional games in fostering social interaction, strengthening cultural identity, and shaping children's characters is explored extensively. Despite the rapid advancement of technology shifting the popularity of modern games, traditional games still hold irreplaceable values. Through the analysis of various traditional games such as hide and seek, tag, hopscotch, stilts, and fortresses, values like honesty, teamwork, responsibility, and patriotism are identified as integral parts of children's play experiences. This research emphasizes the importance of introducing traditional games in the context of character education, considering their role in shaping personalities and reinforcing cultural identities. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, this study delves into the depth of values embedded in traditional games and highlights the urgency of preserving this cultural heritage amidst globalization. The research findings indicate that traditional games not only provide entertainment but also serve as effective learning tools in shaping children's characters. Therefore, efforts to promote and introduce traditional games to children are crucial in maintaining the continuity of cultural heritage and fostering positive values in society.

Abstract

The issue of the environment has become a major concern globally. Environmental literacy plays a crucial role in empowering individuals to address current environmental challenges. To assess the level of environmental literacy among students, this research focused on evaluating the abilities of students at SMP Negeri 158 Jakarta, a school committed to the Adiwiyata program. The study employed a descriptive approach involving 62 eighth-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected through a series of interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistical analysis methods, assessing scores for each environmental literacy indicator. The research findings indicated that the majority of students demonstrated a moderate level of environmental literacy in cognitive indicators, reaching 48%. Meanwhile, the affective indicators showed that the majority of students were in the high category, at 56%. For behavioral indicators, the majority of students were in the moderate category, reaching 76%. The school continues to strive to improve students' environmental literacy as part of efforts to cultivate behaviors that reflect care and awareness for the environment. These actions aim to shape students with a strong and sustainable environmental culture.
