Abstract

The role of Indonesian state civil servants (ASN) in combating corruption is covered in this article, with particular attention paid to how well they comprehend the Corruption Perception Index (GPA). This study, which used qualitative research methods, found that only a tiny portion of ASNs had a thorough comprehension of and ability to communicate GPA. ASN comprehension is impacted by several factors, including a lack of knowledge about the repercussions of neglecting one's GPA, a lack of training tools, and restricted information availability. Lower-level or regional civil officials frequently need more understanding, even though those working in the legal, judicial, and legislative sectors typically have a superior understanding. Thus, improving ASN's comprehension of GPA is essential to the government's anti-corruption initiatives. With increased knowledge, public employees will be better equipped to actively participate in efforts to stop and deal with corruption in Indonesia.

Abstract

The human-centered society of Japan, which pursues system integration to strike a balance between social problem-solving and economic advancement, is the source of the idea of society 5.0. Keeping the digital and physical worlds in balance is crucial. Considering how quickly technology is developing these days, the nation's next generation needs to be raised with the principles of Pancasila. This publication aims to identify the challenges that will arise and the practical strategies that may be used to implement Pancasila education in the Era of Society 5.0. To this end, a literature study and literature review have been conducted. The topic of discussion will be the function and application of Pancasila values. A plan to execute Pancasila education will then be based on this. Early implementation of Pancasila schooling is a viable method in Era Society 5.0. Pancasila education can only be applied in formal educational settings, such as at home, by parents. It need only be taught in schools. Nationalist sentiment can be ingrained in the nation's future generation through Pancasila education from a young age.

Abstract

This study examines the efficacy of providing staff at the Tourism and Culture Office in Garut Regency with online-based training. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of providing Garut Regency Tourism and Culture Office staff members with online training. Observations at the Garut Regency Tourism and Culture Office, resource interview techniques, and documentation studies through books, journals, scientific papers, and other sources are all used in this qualitative descriptive research project. The Garut Regency Tourism and Culture Office employees participated in online financial, archival, and structural leadership training. The Garut Regency Tourism and Culture Office staff has done an excellent job implementing online training; nevertheless, interference with the network and signal continues to persist. Employees claim that online training is beneficial because it may be completed at home or in the workplace and covers daily duties. The fact that there are still employees who need to comprehend technology and online media and who should receive further training or help if necessary creates barriers to online training in accessing and using online media.

Abstract

The primary goal of public policy regarding the growth of sheep and goat farming in Indonesia is to make these commodities more competitive and valuable in fulfilling the demands of the animal protein industry and the needs of farmer welfare. To boost operational effectiveness and increase the process base's value for sheep and goat commodities, sheep and goat farmers affiliate with one another and establish businesses. An analysis of the literature was the study's methodology. The findings indicated that the expansion of goat and sheep farming had to focus on utilizing more locally available natural resources and reducing the use of chemicals. In order to do this, more sustainable and health-safe organic farms can be established. Government initiatives in public policy give the development of sheep and goat husbandry in Indonesia more strategic importance. With an integrated closed-loop system concept, the Indonesian Goat Sheep Breeders Association (HPDKI) aims to fast-track the strategic role of sheep and goat farming development, starting with sustainable breeding and progressing through fattening off. The strategic programs of HPDKI include cluster-based closed-loop livestock corporations, integration of value-added production systems, building farmer capacity, organizational and institutional strengthening, and culture-based livestock breeding systems. These programs are intended to stimulate development in the livestock and animal health subsector. The development of sheep and goat farming in Indonesia is primarily driven by official policy, which aims to boost productivity, add value, and the sector's strategic importance in satisfying animal protein demands and improving farmer welfare.

Abstract

A systematic Literature Review is important for making decisions on social science. An analysis of 20 articles published between 2010 and 2023 shows an increase in publications on the Family Hope Program, with the number of articles published peaking in 20 at five articles. This increase indicates a growth in research interest in the topic. In the search for research methods used in 20 articles related to the Family Hope Program, most research adopts a quantitative approach, while the qualitative approach tends to be rarely applied. Of the 20 articles analyzed, 9 obtained a significant number of citations compared to others, indicating that the topic of the Family Hope Program is still not widely used as a reference by other researchers. The analysis also reveals that universities publish the majority of the articles related to this topic. However, this also presents an opportunity for other institutions, such as innovation agencies and research agencies, to contribute more to the research and discussion on the Family Hope Program. This underscores the potential for broader involvement in future research and discussion on the Family Hope Program.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the ASN presence mobile application (m-PRAS) in improving work discipline for civil servants in the Cirebon Regency DPRD Secretariat. This type of research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this study used interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The informant selection technique in research uses purposive sampling techniques. The results of this study, as seen from the effectiveness indicators according to Sutrisno (2007), are as follows: First, the program's understanding of implementing attendance in the m-PRAS application can be understood well. Second, target accuracy in implementing attendance in the m-PRAS application is on target and has achieved the targets set. Third, punctuality in attendance in the m-PRAS application was carried out on time according to the predetermined schedule. Fourth, the Achievement of goals of implementing attendance in the m-PRAS application based on the Cirebon Regent's Circular Letter Number 780/457/BKPSDM, namely to improve employee discipline and performance, has not been achieved. Fifth, real change in the implementation of attendance in the m-PRAS application has had a positive impact, but there are shortcomings in the m-PRAS application, such as server errors when taking attendance. The conclusion in this study states that the implementation of attendance on the ASN attendance mobile application (m-PRAS) at the Cirebon Regency DPRD Secretariat has not been effective. In this case, the purpose of implementing the m-PRAS application to improve civil servants' discipline and performance is still low and has not been appropriately realized.

Abstract

The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The informant selection technique in this study uses a purposive sampling technique. This study uses two research focuses; the first is the role of village government in empowerment, according to Jim Ife and Frank Tesoriero, namely social animation, mediation and negotiation, group facilitation, provision of support, utilization of resources and skills, and organizing. Nuryanti prioritized two developments in the tourist village, namely, attractions, accommodation, and supporting facilities. The study results are the village government's role in empowerment. First, social animation has been running well, although there is a lack of motivation and inspiration indicators. Second, mediation and negotiations have gone well, although the program socialization indicators have found obstacles to overcome. Thirdly, the support providers are pretty good, but there are shortcomings in funding indicators. Fourth, the facilitation of the group is quite good but not optimal and needs to be improved by the village government. Fifth, using resources and skills is quite good, but the implementation is still not optimal. Sixth, the organization is going well but must continue to be improved to maximize it. As for the development of tourist villages, first, tourist attractions are running well but are still not optimal. Secondly, the accommodation is quite reasonable, but there are still shortcomings. The three supporting facilities are pretty good but still need a lot of improvements.

Abstract

Communication media has an essential role in shaping public perception of women. However, the representation of women in the media often has a negative impact. For example, the writing and pictures behind the truck often contain messages that demean women through objectifying diction and visuals. This study aims to analyze the representation of women in truck visual media and shows that the media reinforces gender stereotypes and limits women's potential in society. A qualitative research approach is applied to explore natural phenomena through triangulation techniques and inductive and descriptive data analysis. Identifying key informants is crucial in this method, with selection based on their level of involvement in the social situation being studied. The researcher conducted direct interviews with five informants who have relevant knowledge and experience, using the Critical Discourse Analysis theory that underlies this study to explore how women are represented in the tailgate of trucks in the form of writing and drawings. The findings of this study reveal that the sexist language in the tailgate of a car reflects the view that women are (1) sexual objects, (2) inanimate objects, (3) vulnerable figures who need sexual attention, and (4) weak figures. The representation of women in the writings and images on the back of the truck not only strengthens the patriarchal power structure in Indonesian society but also highlights the complexity of the interaction between language, culture, and power.

Abstract

The development of Science and Technology (IPTEK) affects various aspects of human life, including in the context of organizations and government agencies. In Cirebon City, the management of Small and Medium Industries (SMEs) by the Trade and Industry Small and Medium Business Cooperative Office faces challenges in updating data that has not been fully computerized. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to evaluate the effectiveness of the IKM data update process. The study results show that the number of SMEs is increasing every year, although there are still obstacles, such as incomplete information and manual processes that slow down efficiency. The application of digital technologies, such as applications for data collection and update, is proposed as a solution to improve the efficiency and accuracy of processes. It is hoped that better data updates, facilitated by digital technologies, can significantly support the development of the creative economy of Cirebon City through the identification of more appropriate needs and opportunities, as well as the optimization of government programs in the SME sector.
