Abstract

This study presents the results of literature analysis on the application of audiovisual media in IPS learning in the United States and Turkey. The analysis is done so that the differences and advantages of audiovisual media used by each country can be known. This research uses literature method by tracing the sources of journals, scientific magazines, books, and internet sources. The results show that the United States and Turkey are concentrated in the development of Social Study learning media-based audiovisual. In addition, the use of audiovisual media in Social Study in the United States and Turkey can create a more active, innovative, creative, and fun learning atmosphere for learners.

Abstract

The internet can have a positive impact on its users if its use is based on good values ​​and ethics. However, at this time there has been a tendency to ignore values ​​and ethics by Internet users because Internet media users can browse whatever they want and will experience realities beyond what they do everyday so they tend to ignore the existing character structures, value systems and norms. agreed upon in the community.The general objective to be achieved in this study is to describe and analyze the relationship between the use of internet media and creative motives for the character of students in public high schools in Bandung. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population is students of class XI SMA Negeri in the city of Bandung. Determination of the research sample using multi stage random sampling as many as 159 students. Data collection used a questionnaire and analyzed using correlation and regression analysis. Based on data processing and analysis, research results that describe; There is a relationship between the use of internet media and creative motives on the character of students by 31.1%, while the rest is influenced by other factors which are not examined in this study. The use of internet media with creative motives has a positive relationship and influence on efforts to build the character of students in schools, so it is recommended that civic education teachers need to direct and guide students to be wiser in using internet media.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The family is the first environment in a child's life, a place where children learn and express themselves as social beings. The family provides the basis for the formation of behavior, character, morals and education of the child. Triggers of violence against children that occur among others are first, the emergence of domestic violence, the occurrence of violence involving both the father, mother and other relatives cause inevitable violence occurs also against children. Children are often targeted by parents' anger. Second, the occurrence of family dysfunction, namely the role of parents do not work as they should. Third, the economic factor, namely violence arises because of economic factors. The character of the child will be disturbed by the occurrence of wrong treatment that often escape the attention, whereas ordinary events are very often related, in the inability and ineffective parents in dealing with children. The problem formulation in this study is how big the role of parents according to legislation and norms prevailing in society, the factors causing the occurrence of violence in the household, and how big the character of children who experience violence in the household. The research method used a quantitative descriptive approach. As for the results from the average research scores the study mostly answered "Yes". With the overall average gain in the highest percentage score is 86.7% and the lowest percentage score is 13.3%. So the conclusion of this study, domestic violence affecting the character of children in MTs.Az-zahra Selacau school in Selacau village, Batujajar sub-district, West Bandung regency. Keywords: Domestic Violence, Child Character. ABSTRAK Keluarga adalah lingkungan pertama dalam kehidupan anak, tempat dimana anak belajar dan menyatakan diri sebagai makhluk sosial. Keluarga memberikan dasar pembentukan tingkah laku, watak, moral dan pendidikan terhadap anak. Pemicu kekerasan terhadap anak yang terjadi diantaranya adalah pertama, munculnya kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, terjadinya kekerasan yang melibatkan baik pihak ayah, ibu dan saudara yang lainnya menyebabkan tidak terelakkannya kekerasan terjadi juga terhadap anak. Anak seringkali menjadi sasaran kemarahan orang tua. Kedua, terjadinya disfungsi keluarga, yaitu peran orang tua tidak berjalan sebagaimana seharusnya. Ketiga, faktor ekonomi, yaitu kekerasan timbul karena faktor ekonomi. Karakter anak akan terganggu dengan terjadinya perlakuan salah yang sering luput dari perhatian, padahal kejadian biasa sangat sering terkait, pada ketidak mampuan dan kurang efektifnya orang tua dalam menghadapi anak. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah seberapa besar peran orang tua menurut perundang-undangan dan norma yang berlaku dalam masyarakat, faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, dan seberapa besar karakter anak yang mengalami kekerasan dalam rumah tangga. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Adapun hasil dari penelitian skor rata-rata penelitian sebagian besar menjawab “Ya”. Dengan perolehan rata-rata seluruhnya pada skor persentase tertinggi adalah 86,7% dan skor persentase terendah adalah 13,3%. Maka kesimpulan penelitian ini, kekerasan dalam rumah tangga berdampak terhadap karakter anak di sekolah MTs.Az-zahra Selacau di Desa Selacau Kecamatan Batujajar Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Abstract

This study attempts to encourage character building of students with special needs, especially the character of independence. Being independent serves as one of primary education goals for children with autism to reduce dependence towards others and to raise sense of responsibility in their daily lives. Qualitative method is applied in this study in which the researcher investigates natural objects and plays a role as the key instrument. Data collection technique was done through triangulation, data analysis was performed inductively, and research findings highlighted more on the meaning instead of generalizatibility.  The data collection technique is tentative in nature. During the research process, research questions were solved through collecting and analyzing information gathered from related participants. The interview technique is generally distinguished into 2 namely 1) structured interview and 2) unstructured interview. The finding of this research reveals that the character of being independent in children with special needs can be promoted by habituation to involve children in daily activities as well as during online learning.

Abstract

Anak berkebutuhan khusus yakni anak yang mengalami gangguan fisik, mental, intelegensi, dan emosi sehingga membutuhkan pembelajaran khusus, dimana anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) merujuk pada anak yang memiliki kesulitan atau ketidakmampuan belajar. Anak berkebutuhan khusus diharapkan mampu memiliki karakter mandiri. Karakter mandiri bagi anak autis merupakan tujuan akhir agar anak tidak bergantung kepada orang lain dan dapat bertanggungjawab dalam menjalankan kehidupan sehari-harinya. Guru dan orang tua melakukan upaya dalam membangun karakter mandiri bagi anak dengan cara pembiasaan, yakni anak harus diberi rasa percaya diri dan kesempatan oleh orang tua agar terbiasa. Pada saat pembelajaran Daring karena kondisi pandemi covid-19,banyak hambatan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring antara lain berkaitan dengan kesiapan sumber daya manusia, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, khususnya dukungan teknologi dan jaringan internet.

Abstract

Purpose:This research is motivated by the low level of character education among students who recognize the importance of character education; therefore, the subject of Pancasila and Civics Education (PPKn), which is one of the subjects that includes lessons in understanding, living, and practicing values in life, is used as a reference for cultivating the values of character education in students, particularly in their love for their country. This study aimed to determine the impact of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) on character education at SMK PGRI 1 Cimahi. Citizen knowledge, civic character, civic abilities, and patriotism character are examined by the researcher. The research method employed is a quantitative research method, and random sampling is the sampling technique. His investigation yielded a mean result of 51.7123, while the mean character education score for students was 41.9726. This study concludes that Pancasila and civic education (PPKn) have an impact on the character education of students at SMK PGRI 1 Cimahi.Methodology:This study employs a questionnaire methodology, wherein a set of questions is formulated and distributed to participants with the aim of eliciting their responses to these inquiries.Findings:The collection of variable measurements was conducted with a Likert scale through the suspension method. The participants in this study consisted of students enrolled in the eleventh grade at SMK PGRI 1 Cimahi.Implication:The sampling method is conducted using probability sampling, specifically employing a probability sample design. This approach ensures that sampling is grounded in the principle that all units within the population have an equal chance of being selected

Abstract

The human-centered society of Japan, which pursues system integration to strike a balance between social problem-solving and economic advancement, is the source of the idea of society 5.0. Keeping the digital and physical worlds in balance is crucial. Considering how quickly technology is developing these days, the nation's next generation needs to be raised with the principles of Pancasila. This publication aims to identify the challenges that will arise and the practical strategies that may be used to implement Pancasila education in the Era of Society 5.0. To this end, a literature study and literature review have been conducted. The topic of discussion will be the function and application of Pancasila values. A plan to execute Pancasila education will then be based on this. Early implementation of Pancasila schooling is a viable method in Era Society 5.0. Pancasila education can only be applied in formal educational settings, such as at home, by parents. It need only be taught in schools. Nationalist sentiment can be ingrained in the nation's future generation through Pancasila education from a young age.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems of the Indonesian state in increasing Human Resources (HR) which aims to make people no longer depend on jobs provided by companies or business entities as a source of employment, but students learn to create jobs for themselves and even for others. So that with this, it is hoped that students will be able to shape themselves to have an entrepreneurial attitude based on the values of Pancasila. The purpose of this study is to describe the contribution of problem-based learning in fostering entrepreneurial attitudes based on Pancasila values. The research method used in this research is quantitative method. The results showed that Problem-Based Learning based on Pancasila values is effective in fostering entrepreneurial attitudes, this is evidenced by the results of the calculation of the r value of product moment correlation which means problem-based learning is closely related to entrepreneurial spirit. on Pancasila values and there is a significant influence of problem-based learning on entrepreneurial attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of artificial intelligence (AI)-based training, especially ChatGPT, in increasing the techno-pedagogic capacity of Al-Wahdah Kindergarten teachers in the city of Bandung. This training is designed using a hands-on-based interactive workshop approach, which allows teachers to directly practice the use of ChatGPT in designing teaching materials that suit the needs of early childhood. Evaluation is carried out through pre-test and post-test to measure the improvement of teachers' skills in the use of technology. The results showed that the average teacher's pre-test score was 50, which increased to 85 on the post-test, showing an increase of 70%. In addition, 90% of participants reported increased confidence in using AI technology to design more creative and interactive teaching materials. Although this training has succeeded in improving teachers' technical skills, challenges such as limited access to technology devices and infrastructure in schools are obstacles to the long-term application of this technology. Therefore, ongoing support and adequate infrastructure are needed to ensure long-term success.
