Abstract

This study aims to see how effective the implementation of the Non-Cash Food Assistance Program is in the Greged District, Cirebon Regency, and identify challenges and obstacles in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive analysis approach. The descriptive approach of analysis is used to obtain and select data that is relevant, up-to-date, unique, and related to the formulation of the problem or research question. This analysis uses all the data collected through various methods, such as observation and in-depth interviews. The researcher concluded that the implementation of the BPNT program in Greged District, Cirebon Regency, has not been effective because it shows several weaknesses and advantages. Key weaknesses include untimely disbursement of aid that is often late and a lack of effective oversight procedures for cash aid. On the other hand, no fee is charged to the beneficiary family (KPM). Although this program is easy for KPM to understand, there are problems with the accuracy of the target of aid recipients due to inaccurate data. Although it is not yet fully effective and still needs improvement, the BPNT program in the Greged District has helped the community meet food needs and contribute to poverty alleviation

Abstract

Eid is synonymous with the tradition of returning home (mudik), and its implementation requires the implementation of Eid transportation that is safe, secure, and comfortable for homecomers. This research uses qualitative methods and aims to know the quality of service regarding the implementation of Poskotis and Rest Area. The results of this study conclude that the Implementation of Poskotis and Rest Area by The West Java Provincial Transportation Office UPTD PPPLLAJ Region IV is considered not optimal because in its implementation, there are still several problems, such as the lack of service services in the form of facilities and infrastructure and less optimal socialization activities. For this reason, improvements need to be made to improve the quality of public services per the dimensions of tangibles and responsiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to measure and analyze facts about the relationship between the lecturer's communication attractiveness in the Summer Course program in Thailand and student creativity in the study of culture tourism. The method used is quantitative; to measure the correlation, the researcher used the Correlation Analysis Test using IBM SPSS Statistics 23 software. The results of the research show that there is a significant correlation between the lecturer's communication attractiveness, who provides learning materials on the Summer Course program at the International College RMUTK, Thailand, and the creativity of Communication Science students in West Java, Indonesia, in studying Tourism and Thai culture. In general, the conclusion of this study has proven that the communication attractiveness of lecturers consists of six variables: lecturers' communication of attractiveness, namely: taking style attractiveness, communication skill attractiveness, communication techniques attractiveness, communication strategy attractiveness, communication behavior attractiveness, communication intelligence attractiveness has a positive and significant correlation with student creativity which is measured from 9 aspects creativity, namely: setting creativity, building creativity, organizing learning, facilitate creativity, positive creativity, balance and opportunity creativity, courage and imagination creativity, managing creativity, mastery of creativity. The variable with the highest relationship value is between the variable of Lecturer Communication Appeal and variable Y: Arrangement Creativity and Building Creativity. The relationship between variables that have the lowest relationship value is between the relationship of Communication Appeal and the variable of Learning Organization. The variable of Lecturer Communication Attractiveness (X) is closely related to Student Creativity (Y).

Abstract

Organizational communication is one of the vital elements in the management and operation of retail stores, including in the Indomaret rest area KM 229 B Kanci Pejagan Toll Road. One of the important parts of retail store management and operations, including Indomaret rest areas, is the organizational communication of a store head with employees and vice versa. Good service is the result of good communication between a coconut shop and employees, as well as efficient procedures. Indomaret faces problems such as consumers wanting to be served immediately, incomplete goods sold, unsatisfactory service, and price differences between shelves and cashier computers. This study aims to understand why organizational communication between store heads and employees in Indomaret rest areas is vital in improving service quality and good service results to consumers (consumer satisfaction); this research is expected to provide practical insights for Indomaret management in creating a communicative and collaborative work environment for superior customer service. This research method uses a qualitative approach to gain an in-depth understanding of the communication between store heads and employees in Indomaret rest areas which focuses on a thorough understanding of social issues based on realistic, detailed, and complex conditions. Based on the research results, it was found that the head of the Indomaret rest area store prioritizes the communication style in the organization by using—overarching Communication Patterns or Stars.

Abstract

Enjoying coffee in coffee shops has become an increasingly widespread culture in Indonesia. Oksigen Coffee is one of the manycoffee shops in Cirebon City. It was established in 2020 with a unique marketing style. Providing a variety of various variants of coffee, it is a place that many young people visit to adults and even families. This research aims to find out how Oksigen Coffee implements Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) to increase brand awareness of Indonesian coffee in coffee shops. In this study, the author uses a descriptive qualitative approach that conducts direct interviews with the owner, marketing team, managers, baristas, and consumers of Oxygen Coffee. The theory used in this study is the theory of Integrated Marketing Communication. There are a few obstacles in marketing at Oxygen Coffee, namely fierce competition with other brands due to the rise of Coffee Shops in Cirebon City. Oksigen Coffee implements Advertising, Sales Promotion, Event and experience, Public Relations and publicity, Direct Marketing, Interactive Marketing, and Personal Selling successfully in creating an attractive environment for customers, thus strengthening its position in the local coffee industry in Cirebon City.

Abstract

This study examines audience behavior in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) matches broadcast on the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) YouTube channel. This theme was chosen because of the growing popularity of the UFC and YouTube's potential as a platform to reach a global audience. The study aims to identify the characteristics of viewers and content on UFC YouTube accounts, analyze audience interaction and engagement during broadcast MMA matches, and find out the motives or motivations of viewers in watching MMA matches on UFC YouTube. The research method used is qualitative, with a content analysis approach and observation of audience behavior in the YouTube comment column. The New Media Theory is a conceptual framework to understand this phenomenon. The results of the study show that UFC content on YouTube offers a variety of materials such as match highlights, full shows of the event, and exclusive content that appeals to global fans. Audience interaction in the comments section reflects intense engagement, including technical analysis of the match, emotional support for the fighter, and discussions between fans. The main motivations of spectators include interest in the sport itself, entertainment, inspiration, and support for favorite fighters. This research provides valuable insights into sports media consumption behavior in the digital era and the potential of online platforms in developing a sports fan base

Abstract

This study aims to find out the role of leadership in supervising employee discipline located in the Cirebon Class II KSOP Office. The method used is qualitative, including observation, interviews, and documentation studies as research data sources. This article discusses the analysis of leadership supervision oriented toward employee discipline and reveals the driving and inhibiting factors of the supervision process in the field. The conclusion obtained from this study is that leadership supervision is carried out through monitoring employee attendance administration, periodic discipline evaluation, personal employee coaching, and coordinating with the personnel department in improving employee discipline, which is already optimal, but still found employee discipline that is not per the rules. The informal leadership communication style is a supporting factor in supervision, but on the other hand, this does not cause a positive change in the attitude of discipline in employees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of traditional market revitalization policies in Kuningan Regency. Revitalization of traditional markets is a form of public policy carried out by the government to improve the competitiveness of traditional markets amid the existence of modern markets as regulated in Kuningan Regency Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2011 concerning Arrangement, Development of Traditional Markets and Modern Stores. In addition, to find out the obstacles in implementing traditional market revitalization. The research method uses qualitative. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation. Data analysis uses triangulation techniques. This research uses Merilee's theory. S. Grindle, that the successful implementation of public policy is influenced by two fundamental variables, namely the content of policy and the context of implementation. Based on the results of research on policy content, it shows that the desired changes from the policy have not been implemented optimally, the lack of communication carried out by program implementers, while from the context of implementing the traditional market revitalization policy is not optimal because there is a conflict of interest of the ruling regime. The obstacles in market revitalization are the lack of guidance on traditional market arrangements, and the lack of public awareness in the cleanliness of the market environment.

Abstract

Social media, especially Instagram, is a contest for buzzers in the 2024 presidential and vice presidential elections. In debates on social media, they are free to express their support in any way. Likewise content, but not necessarily hoax content, is sent to attract sympathizers due to the existence of an ITE law that prevents the spread of hoaxes, especially since this is an official buzzer account, likewise, in this election, which was attended by 3 pairs of candidates and vice presidents where there must be contestation from the three candidates who need an increase in electability to win this presidential election. This research method uses qualitative techniques, such as observation techniques, for data collection. Aim to see if the public is affected in the content created by the buzzer account. With this, the results of the study show that positive content is given from the 3 official buzzers, which apply the concepts of habitus, field, and capital, which cause the impact of buzzer dominance on Instagram social media does not have a strong influence on the results of the 2024 election, and it is the public's view of which leader will be chosen that is higher.

Abstract

Background. The development of the times from year to year cannot be separated from the internet. The internet also influences the rapid advancement of communication technology. One example of advances in communication technology is the digitization of media or social media platforms such as TikTok. Aim. This research aims to find out how TikTok's social media platforms affect people's communication patterns. Methods. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis, which was conducted using the SPSS application data processing tool. Questionnaires were distributed to 80 people in Sumber District to obtain primary data. Result. According to the study's findings, the digitization of social media platforms like TikTok significantly impacts people's behavior in Sumber District. In addition to being a marketplace for goods and services, educational institutions can use TikTok as an interactive learning tool to enhance education and promote MSME goods in the Sumber District community. Conclusion. However, TikTok also has a detrimental effect on its users, as shown by the lack of ethics and disdain for parents. Implication. Therefore, every community needs to have self-control and management in using the TikTok application.
