Abstract

This study aims to analyze the product attractiveness of Dodol Nanas Rosnah in Dumai City based on consumer perceptions. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in economic development, particularly in utilizing local agricultural resources such as pineapple. However, in an increasingly competitive market, product attractiveness plays an important role in influencing consumer purchasing decisions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to gain an in-depth understanding of consumer perceptions. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving business owners and consumers as informants. The results show that product attractiveness is influenced by several key factors, including product quality, sensory attributes (taste, aroma, and texture), packaging design, price, and perceived value. Among these factors, taste and packaging are the most dominant aspects influencing consumer interest. Attractive packaging and distinctive taste enhance consumer preference and strengthen product competitiveness. This study implies that MSME actors need to improve both product quality and visual appeal to increase market competitiveness and consumer attraction.

Abstract

High turnover intention among employees presents a serious challenge to the sustainability of an organization. Excessive workload and an unfavorable work environment can trigger employees' desire to switch jobs. This study aims to analyze the impact of workload and work environment on turnover intention among employees at KSP Semarak Dana Mojokerto. The objective of this study is to determine how workload and work environment influence turnover intention at the Koperasi Simpan Pinjam (KSP) Semarak Dana Mojokerto. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to all 36 active employees of KSP Semarak Dana Mojokerto. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results show that workload has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Similarly, the work environment also has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Simultaneously, workload and work environment significantly influence employee turnover intention. These findings suggest that excessive workload, such as demands for customer recruitment targets, delinquency-free collections, timely deposits, and threats of sanctions for unmet targets, can lead to chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, and decreased job satisfaction, ultimately driving the intention to leave the job. Therefore, management needs to manage workloads with a work-life balance approach, fair task distribution, target adjustments based on regional conditions, adequate facilities, and performance evaluations that focus on work quality rather than just quantity. By implementing these strategies, turnover intention can be reduced, and employees can work more optimally and with higher satisfaction.

The study concludes that the retirement readiness of ordinary workers in Jabodetabek is relatively low, with 55% of workers unsure whether they can cover their living expenses in old age due to their current income being considered insufficient and a lack of understanding of the living expenses required during retirement. Only 18% of workers have a clear preference for enjoying their retirement, while 47% want to start a small business and 24% are unsure about what their retirement will look like. The majority, or 41%, of workers have financial products in the form of savings accounts at banks, and 39% have other financial products, while only 8% have pension funds. The challenges facing the pension fund industry in Indonesia are centered on 1) low participation rates, 2) financial literacy and awareness, 3) investment performance, 4) digital access, 5) inconsistencies in the pension system, and 6) demographic and longevity risks. The pension fund industry is required to develop flexible and affordable products. Massive education, digital access availability, and inclusive policies are key to preparing workers for retirement and preventing poverty in old age. This study recommends synergy between the government, industry players, and educational institutions to improve retirement literacy and participation. Increased incentives for participants and integration of the national pension system are also needed to create a more prosperous and sustainable retirement.

Abstract

This research seeks to examine the impact of experiential marketing on customer satisfaction, its effect on repurchase intention, and the role of customer satisfaction in influencing repurchase intention among patrons of Resto All You Can Eat Surabaya. The study applies a survey approach, gathering data through questionnaires distributed to selected samples from the population. The analysis is conducted using the Partial Least Square method. The findings reveal that experiential marketing significantly influences customer satisfaction at Resto All You Can Eat Surabaya. This indicates that when elements of experiential marketing—such as sensory experiences, emotional responses, creative cognitive stimulation, physical engagement, lifestyle alignment, and social identity—are enhanced, customer demand also increases. Moreover, experiential marketing is shown to affect customers’ repurchase intention. In other words, the stronger the customers’ experience in terms of sensory, affective, cognitive, physical, lifestyle, and social identity aspects, the greater their willingness to make repeat purchases. Finally, customer satisfaction itself plays a crucial role in driving repurchase intention. When satisfaction is reflected in positive feelings, verbal appreciation, enjoyment, and fulfillment during the purchasing process, customers are more inclined to return and buy again at the restaurant. These results suggest that Resto All You Can Eat Surabaya—and similar businesses—should strategically invest in strengthening experiential marketing elements as a core part of their customer relationship and retention efforts. By creating memorable and meaningful dining experiences that engage customers on multiple levels, the restaurant can foster stronger emotional connections, increase satisfaction, and encourage long-term loyalty. Practical implementations may include improving ambiance, offering interactive dining elements, training staff to provide personalized service, and leveraging social media to enhance community and identity among patrons.

The development of organizations in the modern era demands the integration of psychological aspects into management practices to enhance effectiveness, innovation, and performance. Organizational psychology and management psychology are becoming increasingly important in addressing the dynamics of change and the complexity of the work environment. This study aims to identify and synthesize the role of psychology in organizational management and answer the research questions: how management psychology contributes to organizational innovation and performance, as well as key themes and existing research gaps. The method used was a literature review with a qualitative approach. Data was obtained from the Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP) databases using keywords related to organizational psychology, innovation, and management. A total of 16 articles were identified and then selected to seven relevant articles for analysis. The results of the study identified three main themes: the role of psychology in management effectiveness, the influence of psychological factors on innovation and performance, and the contribution of management psychology in addressing organizational change. Overall, psychological factors have been shown to play a significant role in improving organizational performance and competitiveness. Future research is recommended to develop an integrative model that comprehensively combines various aspects of management psychology in different organizational contexts.
