Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze public perceptions of the quality of the Trans Siginjai Bus service provided by the Jambi Provincial Transportation Agency, and to identify and analyze factors influencing public satisfaction with the Trans Siginjai Bus transportation service in Jambi City. This study used qualitative methods with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research results, public assessments of the Trans Siginjai Bus in Jambi City show two opposing sides. On the one hand, they are satisfied because the bus is affordable, practical, safe, and has strategic routes, so many continue to use it and recommend it. However, on the other hand, service issues are more prominent, such as dirty and damaged buses and bus stops, frequently late schedules, unfriendly drivers, and the lack of an easy way to complain. This makes people annoyed and less loyal in the long run. Their satisfaction depends on the balance between these advantages and disadvantages such as uncomfortable facilities, uncertain schedules, inadequate staff service, and a lack of attention to complaints. So, people appreciate the economic benefits but remain disappointed with the overall service quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of training and work discipline on employee performance at PT Bank Perekonomian Rakyat Sumatera Selatan (Perseroda). A quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis was applied, and data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 50 employees who also represented the study population. The results indicate that both training and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, either partially or simultaneously. Well-planned training programs enhance employees’ knowledge, technical abilities, and professionalism, enabling them to perform their duties more efficiently. Meanwhile, work discipline promotes responsibility, punctuality, adherence to company regulations, and consistency in task completion. Together, these variables explain 37.4% of the variation in employee performance, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The findings emphasize that structured and continuous training programs, combined with consistent discipline enforcement, play a strategic role in developing high-performing human resources. Therefore, organizations should prioritize improving employee competence and discipline to achieve optimal performance and effectively support the realization of organizational goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at Madira Skin & Beauty Care. This research applies quantitative approach. Sampling techniques apply non-probability sampling which means that the sample used is all employees of Madira Skin & Beauty Care. Data obtained from observations, interviews, and questionnaires. Using validity test analysis techniques, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, coefficient of determination test, Partial Test (t), and simultaneous test (f). The results of data analysis showed that motivation has a significant effect partially on employee performance, work discipline does not have a significant effect partially on employee performance, motivation and work discipline have a significant effect simultaneously on employee performance. This can be seen from the results of correlation analysis, namely: the value of R square 0.525 or 52.5% and the remaining 47.5% are influenced by other variables that are not included in the study.

Abstract

"The Influence of Marketing Strategy on Increasing the Sales Volume of the Bhaiya Bread Factory Business, Pasar Hilir Village, Panyabungan District, Mandailing Natal Regency" aims to find out the extent to which marketing strategies affect the increase in sales volume. The company was established to obtain maximum profit, so marketing effectiveness is an important component in attracting consumers and expanding market share. A good marketing strategy allows companies to build long-term relationships with customers, increase competitive advantages, and maintain business existence in the midst of increasingly fierce competition. In addition, implementing the right marketing strategy also helps companies understand consumer needs, position products more effectively, and adjust the marketing mix according to market dynamics. This study used a quantitative approach with the Accidental Sampling method on 96 respondents and simple linear regression analysis to test the influence of variables. The results of the study showed that marketing strategy had a positive and significant effect on sales volume with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The value of the determination coefficient (R²) is 0.220, which means that 22% of the change in sales volume is explained by marketing strategy, while the remaining 78% is influenced by other factors such as product quality, price, location, consumer preferences, and the intensity of promotions carried out by competitors in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize hydroponic vegetable production strategies at KEA Farm through the application of the Linear Programming method using a quantitative descriptive approach. The main focus of the research is to determine the optimal production combination between lettuce and mint leaves by considering resource constraints, including working time (180 hours per month), land capacity (100 units), and production cost (Rp 110,000). Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies, and were then analyzed using the graphical method and validated with manual calculations. The results indicate two optimal production strategies. The first strategy involves the single production of 22 units of lettuce, generating a maximum profit of Rp 66,000 per cycle, with 100% cost utilization, 24% working time utilization, and 22% land utilization. The second strategy is product diversification, combining 16 units of lettuce and 5 units of mint leaves, resulting in a profit of Rp 53,000. However, this approach provides long-term strategic advantages through market expansion and reduced dependency on a single commodity. The implementation of the Linear Programming model proved effective in enhancing resource allocation efficiency and supporting production decision-making. This research offers practical contributions for micro agribusiness actors by providing an easily applicable analytical approach, as well as academic contributions through the integration of graphical visualization methods and mathematical precision in optimizing small-scale hydroponic production.
