Abstract

Angke Heritage Restaurant is a renowned traditional dining establishment that faces challenges in managing customer wait times as part of its service quality. Prolonged wait times can negatively impact customer satisfaction and reduce loyalty. This study aims to analyze the operational service management implemented at Angke Heritage Restaurant and identify strategies to reduce customer wait times. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, with data collected through direct observations, employee interviews, and customer surveys. The data is analyzed using service blueprints to identify service process stages that require improvement. The findings reveal that the longest wait times occur during the ordering and food preparation stages, primarily due to a lack of staff coordination and suboptimal management systems. Recommended strategies include implementing an online reservation system, providing employee training to enhance work efficiency, and optimizing kitchen processes through Point of Sale (POS) technology. These strategies are projected to reduce wait times by up to 30% and significantly enhance customer satisfaction. This study contributes to the literature on operational service management in restaurants and offers practical guidance for traditional restaurant managers seeking to improve service quality.

Abstract

The barbershop business is a promising business, because the need for haircutting services is increasing. The barbershop business in Serang Regency itself is increasingly popular, including in Waringinkurung District, but not all barbershops in Waringinkurung District are visited by many consumers. Competition between barbershops lies in the quality of excellent service for consumers, the implementation of a quality service influences the development of consumer satisfaction. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data was obtained through direct interviews with barbershop owners and consumers. Then the data is analyzed through the stages of data reduction or simplification, data display/presentation, and drawing conclusions. The quality of service provided at the Pandawa barbershop in Wariginkurung District, Serang Regency is quite good, this can be seen from the efforts made such as prioritizing appearance, neatly arranged facilities, tools that are always ready to use and choosing a strategic location. The reliability and responsiveness of the barbershop can be seen from consumer assessments of the indicators of reliability, responsiveness, empathy and guarantees of the barbershop which are quite good. The quality of service in increasing the satisfaction of barber service users according to an Islamic perspective in Waringinkurung District, Serang Regency is still low, this can be seen from the fact that there are still barbershops that provide hair styles.

Abstract

This research examines efforts to improve operational management at Sayur Balap MSMEs in Carenang through an operational management approach. Using qualitative methods, data was collected through semi-structured interviews via WhatsApp and direct observation to identify obstacles in transportation, operational management and stock management. The results of the thematic analysis show the challenges faced and improvement strategies that can be implemented. This research aims to provide practical recommendations to improve operational efficiency and competitiveness of MSMEs in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

This research investigates consumers’ decisions in buying food preferences in regard to cultural orientation, which shall establish how cultural factors reflect consumers’ decisions on food consumption. Culture orientation includes collectivism, long-term orientation, masculinity and uncertainty avoidance by Hofstede. Using a quantitative research approach, the research employed structured questionnaire surveys that help gain overall view from participants of diversified cultural backgrounds. From 107 respondents of an online survey, key findings reveal that there are significant relationships between culture orientation, i.e., long-term orientation and purchase intention. However, two other culture dimensions of Hofstede do not show association with purchase intention. The findings show that long-term orientation, i.e., long-term benefits are very crucial when they decide to buy their food.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has revolutionized international trade, significantly facilitating cross-border transactions. This study aims to analyze the impact of digitalization on global trade, identify emerging opportunities, and uncover ongoing challenges, particularly in terms of regulation and security. A descriptive qualitative method is employed by reviewing relevant literature on digitalization, e-commerce, blockchain, and global trade policies.The findings indicate that digitalization brings various benefits, including enhanced transaction efficiency, greater transparency in supply chains, and expanded international market access, especially for developing countries and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). However, several challenges persist, such as regulatory discrepancies between countries, cybersecurity threats, unequal access to technology, and protectionist policies imposed by developed nations. Therefore, adaptive policies, harmonized international trade regulations, and investments in human resource development and digital infrastructure are essential to fostering a more inclusive and sustainable global trade environment.

Abstract

This research aims to find out big facts. Discussion of the influence of compensation, work discipline and work motivation on employee performance with organizational culture as an intervening variable for non-civil servants at the West Pasaman Dispora Regional Office. The data analysis method is in the form of questionnaire data with a sample of 60 respondents. The data analysis method used is questionnaire data analysis. The research results obtained based on the partial test (T test) were obtained: There is no influence of Compensation on Organizational Culture for West Pasaman Dispora Consumers, There is an influence of Work Discipline on Organizational Culture for West Pasaman Dispora Consumers, There is no influence of Work Motivation on Organizational Culture for West Pasaman Dispora Consumers, There is no influence of Compensation on Employee Performance for Dispora Consumers West Pasaman., There is an influence of Work Discipline on Employee Performance among West Pasaman Dispora Consumers. There is an influence of Work Motivation on Employee Performance among West Pasaman Dispora Consumers. This indicates that the better the work motivation felt by West Pasaman Dispora consumers, the higher their employee performance. There is no influence of organizational culture on employee performance among West Pasaman Dispora consumers. Organizational culture is unable to influence compensation variables on performance. Employees, Organizational Culture Not able to influence the Work Discipline variable on Employee Performance, Organizational Culture Not able to influence the Work Motivation variable on Employee Performance. Finally, the author suggests to companies the need for company management to pay special attention to improving employee performance through the variables that have been studied.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much influence promotions, product ratings and ease of use have on purchasing interest through customer loyalty to the Gofood food delivery service (study of UPI YPTK Padang students). The method used was accidental sampling, namely Gofood consumers among UPI YPTK Padang students. The research results showed that: there is an effect of promotion on customer loyalty, product ratings have a positive effect on customer loyalty, ease of use has no positive effect on customer loyalty, promotion has a positive effect on purchase interest, product ratings have no effect on purchase interest, ease of use has an effect on purchase interest, customer loyalty has a positive effect on purchase interest, promotion has a significant positive effect on purchase interest through customer loyalty, product ratings have a positive effect on purchase interest through customer loyalty, ease of use has no effect on purchase interest through Gofood customer loyalty among UPI YPTK Padang students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and attempt to analyze the influence of organizational culture and work discipline on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the West Sumatra Province Governor's Lead Administration Bureau. This research is a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model with the SmartPLS 3.0 analysis tool. The population and sample for this study were employees of the West Sumatra Province Governor's Leadership Administration Bureau. The research results found that there was a negative and insignificant influence between organizational culture on job satisfaction. There is a positive and significant influence between organizational culture on employee performance. There is a positive and significant influence between work discipline and job satisfaction. There is a positive and significant influence between work discipline on employee performance. There is a positive and significant influence between job satisfaction and employee performance. Job satisfaction is not able to mediate organizational culture on employee performance. Job satisfaction is able to mediate work discipline on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how stress and work environment affect employees' job quality at PT. Julia Multimedia Nusantara. This study uses a quantitative approach and has 32 respondents. Before performing a berganda regression analysis on the collected data, a kuesioner is used to ensure validity and trustworthiness. The study's findings indicate that work conditions have a significant impact on employees' work quality; better work conditions consistently raise work quality. In addition, it has been shown that stress at work has a significant and positive impact on work quality, meaning that higher stress levels are associated with higher work quality. Combining a stressful work environment with a high level of stress.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Product Quality, Price Perception, and Word of mouth on purchasing decisions. The sample in this study were 100 consumers of the Dandyco Bakery Bintaro Consumers in South Tangerang. The sampling method using the non-probability sampling method with accidental sampling technique. Data collection by distributing questionnaires. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert Scale. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The results of respondents' answers to the questionnaire given were then processed using SPSS version 26. The results showed that Product Quality, Price Perception and Word of mouth variables had a significant influence on purchasing decisions.
