Abstract

This research aims to design teaching materials in e-modules that integrate local wisdom to increase the effectiveness of learning Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA). In the era of globalization, understanding local culture is important to support a more contextual and authentic language learning process. The e-module developed in this research focuses on introducing and understanding local Indonesian culture, such as customs, traditional arts, and social values. This development model uses the Borg & Gall development model, namely preliminary study, research planning, design development, preliminary field test, revision of limited field test results, main field test, revision of wider field test results, feasibility test, final revision of feasibility test results, and dissemination and implementation of the final product. Data collection at the pre-development stage was carried out using a questionnaire validation instrument. The type of data in this research is qualitative data. Qualitative data was obtained from expert test questionnaire validation in the form of data resulting from comments, criticism, and suggestions in the form of nonverbal data at the pre-development stage.

Abstract

Cultivating learning motivation is crucial for instilling passion in students for studying chemistry. However, traditional learning methods that rely on little media usage fail to enhance students' willingness to learn. Macromedia Flash learning media is a practical option for enhancing student learning motivation. This media promotes active student engagement and cultivates enthusiasm and passion for learning. This study aims to assess the impact of Macromedia Flash learning media on students' motivation to learn and their understanding of the subject of enthalpy change. The research methodology employed in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group. The research was conducted at SMA Nusantara Plus, using class XI Science 1 as the experimental group and class XI Science 2 as the control group. Each group consisted of 33 students. The instrument used was a non-experimental tool in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 25 statements to assess learning motivation. The t-test conducted for the hypothesis test yielded a two-tailed Significance value of 0.000, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H1). The study's findings demonstrated that using Macromedia Flash learning media significantly impacted students' motivation to learn the material on enthalpy change.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between self-regulated learning, creative performance, and early mathematical proficiency in the academic success of college students. The methods of this study are to compare the assessments and surveys conducted before and throughout the educational process. Learning activities are executed through both in-person and online formats. In-person instruction is performed according to the university's established lecture timetable. E-learning is conducted via organized tasks and autonomous assignments. Data were collected from college students in the University of  Islam Bandung calculus course. The findings indicated that self-regulated learning and early mathematics aptitude significantly influenced student academic achievement, whereas the impact of creative performance was comparatively less pronounced. Self-regulated learning influences academic success by 38.76%, while early mathematical competence affects academic performance by 30.96%. Consequently, self-regulated learning significantly influences academic performance more than initial mathematical competence.

Abstract

Tafsir Tarbawi is a subject at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Faculty Teacher of Training that seeks to find educational concepts in interpreting educational verses in the Qur'an. This article rests on educational verses examining the history of the development of moral education, which found a crossroads between Ibn Miskawaih and al-Ghazali, where the tradition inherited by the first figure is commonly referred to as the rational tradition. In contrast, the second figure is referred to as the mystical tradition. To obtain clarity on the format of Ibn Miskawaih's thinking pattern, which some parties call a driver of progress and vice versa, al-Ghazali, whom some parties accuse as one of the causes of the stagnation of the dynamics of intellectual movement in the Muslim world, the author tries to dialogue the thoughts of moral education of the two figures. This study is carried out by analyzing the comparative thinking of the concept of moral education both in aspects: basic concepts, human existential structure, moral virtues, and components of moral education
