Abstract

This study aims to describe the specifications and efficiency of educational materials for improving the speaking abilities of Language Preparation Program participants at the University of Darussalam Gontor. Research and development were used in the study, and interviews, identification, testing, and written documentation were used as data collection techniques. The research utilized the test-paired t-formula to analyze the data. The results of this research led to the production of instructional materials that include explanations of difficult words and engaging language training, as well as dialogue and conversation tools that are appropriate for their clientele, with added graphics and color. The results of this study also showed that participants' linguistic competency improved after using specified materials, especially in terms of their speech abilities, as shown by the fact that the post-test scores in the enlarged experiment were higher than the pre-test scores. The moral outcome appeared to be 0.005 less than 0.05, showing that the direct hypothesis was plausible while the null and void hypothesis was not, proving the value of the design material.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how teachers' efforts in preventing sexual harassment in children in elementary schools. This study used qualitative research methods. In this type of descriptive research approach, the instruments in this study used interview instruments. The data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. The subject of this study was one of the teachers at Watubelah 1 Public Elementary School. The results and discussion obtained from conducting this research are that teachers at SDN 1 Watubelah have made efforts to prevent sexual harassment of elementary school students. The efforts of teachers at SDN 1 Watubelah to prevent this are by 1) strict selection of teachers, 2) giving sexual education to children, 3) giving sanctions to perpetrators, and 4) creating a sense of security at school for students.

Abstract

Character education is more important than moral education because character education not only recognizes what is right and what is wrong but also how students are subjected to goodness. Character education includes education of values, ethics, morals, and character and aims to teach students how to make good choices and maintain goodness in daily life. This study aims to determine how the implementation of character-based school management in SDN 1 Watubelah runs. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques: in-depth interviews, observations, and audiovisuals. The criteria used to select informants are homeroom teachers, BK teachers, and curriculum staff. The study results show that schools want to instill traits such as creativity, talent, and morals. They also do not forget basic traits such as honesty, discipline, etc

Abstract

With the ever-increasing uncertainty of the impact of humans on the environment, the study of adaptive societal behavior has gained interest in seeking to actively limit disaster-related losses. Despite numerous studies on the role of social capital in Indonesian tourism, the extent to which community social capital adapts to social order changes due to events like the COVID-19 pandemic or earthquake shocks has not been thoroughly studied. This study explored the social capital of people in tourist village areas, specifically in Sambirejo Village, Indonesia, and how it supported collective action during the COVID-19 pandemic to enhance community resilience and in turn succeed as a tourist village. Sambirejo Village has been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in a decline in tourism visits and income, highlighting the importance of social capital in fostering resilience. The research utilized a quantitative approach, collecting data through a questionnaire and analyzing descriptive statistical results. The model construct was then built and tested using a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The SEM analysis revealed the crucial role of government and community initiatives in fostering community resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic, emphasizing the need for well-placed policies to help communities increase their social capital and combat the pandemic effectively.

Abstract

The issuance of the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number 12 of 2024 officially establishes the Merdeka Curriculum as the national curriculum, effective from the 2024/2025 academic year. A notable innovation of this curriculum is the integration of Natural Sciences (IPA) and Social Sciences (IPS) into a single subject called Integrated Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS), distinguishing it from previous curricular frameworks. Despite this advancement, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, particularly in the context of IPAS instruction, has not yet fully achieved its intended objectives. This study aims to examine the implementation process, challenges encountered, and educational impacts of the Merdeka Curriculum in IPAS learning, grounded in its core principles. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive methodology, the research was conducted with Grade III teachers and students at SDN 2 Lemahabang. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and document analysis, with data processed through reduction, display, and conclusion drawing techniques. Triangulation of sources and methods was employed to ensure data validity. Findings reveal that the implementation of IPAS within the Merdeka Curriculum framework is still partially misaligned with its foundational principles. Primary challenges involve time limitations during instruction and assessment phases, compounded by large class sizes. Nevertheless, the adoption of this curriculum has produced positive outcomes for both educators and learners.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika melalui penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media wordwall. Bentuk penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VA SDN 2 Tukmudal. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa analisis menggunakan rata-rata kelas dan presentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa setelah penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media Wordwall. Hal ini terlihat dari rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika pada siklus I sebesar 67,4 dengan ketuntasan belajar 44% meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 84,4 dengan ketuntasan belajar 92%. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian adalah penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media wordwall dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VA SDN 2 Tukmudal tahun ajaran 2024/2025 khususnya pada materi Data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 2 Tukmudal melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Rata-rata keaktifan siswa pada siklus I mencapai 78,9%, kemudian meningkat menjadi 90,3% pada siklus II. Peningkatan keaktifan ini terlihat terutama pada aspek kemampuan berkomunikasi secara lisan dan keterlibatan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model TGT memberikan dampak positif terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa. Model ini mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan kompetitif, sehingga mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif dalam mengikuti pelajaran Matematika di kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Tukmudal.

Abstract

Job insecurity dan job stress merupakan tantangan yang dapat memengaruhi stabilitas sumber daya manusia, khususnya di sektor farmasi. Job insecurity menciptakan ketidakpastian terhadap keberlangsungan pekerjaan, yang dapat menurunkan rasa aman karyawan dan mengurangi keterikatan mereka pada organisasi. Sementara itu,  job stress berdampak langsung pada kesehatan psikologis, motivasi, dan produktivitas kerja. Data awal di Apotek Serangkai menunjukkan bahwa sebagian karyawan menghadapi ketidakjelasan status kerja, minimnya tunjangan, dan tingginya beban kerja, yang memicu tekanan psikologis dan potensi peningkatan turnover intention. Kondisi ini menegaskan bahwa kedua variabel tersebut memiliki peran strategis dalam menentukan retensi karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh job insecurity terhadap turnover intention dengan job stress sebagai variabel mediasi pada karyawan Apotek Serangkai di Kabupaten Cirebon. Pendekatan kuantitaif dengan metode asosiatif digunakan, melibatkan seluruh populasi berjumlah 33 responden melalui teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner tertutup, dan data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda serta uji Sobel untuk mengidentifikasi efek mediasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa job insecurity berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap job stress dan turnover intention. selain itu, job stress juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention serta terbukti memediasi hubungan antara  job insecurity dan turnover intention. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa tekanan psikologis menjadi jalur yang memperkuat dampak ketidakaman kerja terhadap keinginan karyawan untuk berpindah kerja.
