Abstract: Background. Children who are victims of sexual violence are at risk of mental disorders, difficulties in social interactions, and the tendency to become perpetrators of abuse in the future. Children are vulnerable to crime no matter where they are, as abuse can also occur in a variety of environments, including family environments, educational institutions, offices, public places, or even the safest places, such as Islamic boarding schools Aims. The purpose of this research is to determine the challenges associated with providing legal protection for children who commit sexual assault at Polresta Cirebon while the investigation is ongoing. This normative legal study aims to make choices and settle disputes. Methods. Two methods of gathering data are researching the literature and conducting interviews. The data is analyzed using qualitative data analysis. Result. According to the study's findings, child investigators continue to encounter several challenges when implementing legal protection for children who engage in sexual abuse, including a shortage of child investigators, a lack of supporting documentation, and the absence of a safe house at Polresta Cirebon for investigative purposes. Conclusion. As a solution, this study recommends increasing the number of investigators trained to handle cases of violence against children, the construction of special facilities such as safe houses, and advanced training for investigators in handling child abuse cases professionally. Implementation. Thus, success in handling the crime of child abuse depends not only on existing regulations but also on the readiness of human resources, the availability of supporting facilities, and the ability of law enforcement officials to respond to each case quickly, appropriately, and favorably for the victim. Abstract Background. Teenage brawls are a social problem that still often occurs in Cirebon City, causing public unrest and potentially causing casualties. Meanwhile, the application of criminal penalties for juvenile brawlers, especially those who carry sharp weapons or cause injury to victims, has been shown to have a deterrent effect, but its effectiveness depends on the consistency of law enforcement and the support of rehabilitation programs. Conclusion. This study concludes that the combined approach of preventive patrols and strict legal sanctions needs to be improved by involving various parties, including schools and the community, to create a safer and more conducive environment for adolescents in Cirebon City. Implementation. The number of brawls in Cirebon City can be significantly reduced with the collaboration between the police, schools, parents, and the community. Prevention efforts based on education and coaching must go hand in hand with strict law enforcement so that the solutions implemented can have a long-term impact in creating a safer and more conducive environment for the younger generation.

Abstract

Abstract. Background. PPJB or Sale and Purchase Binding Agreement is a legal tool used for land purchase and sale transactions in Indonesia. With the existence of PPJB, the parties get the opportunity to bind the initial agreement before officially implementing the Deed of Sale and Purchase (AJB) in front of the Land Deed Making Officer (PPAT). Aims. This study examines the legal consequences of Non-Notarial and Notarial Sale and Purchase Binding Agreements (PPJB) in land sale transactions in Indonesia. Despite its frequent use, Non-Notarial PPJB has legal weaknesses, particularly in terms of evidentiary strength. Conversely, Notarial PPJB is considered stronger legally, as it is an authentic deed recognized under Article 1870 of the Indonesian Civil Code (KUHPerdata). Methods. Through Case Study No. 31/Pdt.G/2024/PN Sbr, this research identifies that in disputes, judges tend to favor parties holding Notarial PPJBs, which are viewed as more compliant with formal legal requirements. Result. The findings suggest that Notarial PPJB offers higher legal certainty and minimizes the potential for disputes. Hence, society must know the legal consequences of using PPJB in land sale transactions. Additionally, increasing public awareness and education regarding the importance of Notarial PPJB is recommended as a means of optimal legal protection. Conclusion. This emphasizes the importance of public understanding of legal aspects in preparing PPJB, especially in land purchase and sale transactions that involve significant economic value and have the potential for complex legal conflicts. Implementation. PPJB notarial is highly recommended to minimize the risk of future disputes and provide more optimal legal protection for all parties involved. It is hoped that the government can increase socialization about the importance of notarial PPJB and provide education about the legal risks that may arise from using non-notarial PPJB.
