Abstract

Leadership issues within student organizations often manifest as low adaptability to change, weak inter-divisional communication, and poor collaboration skills. These challenges reduce organizational effectiveness and hinder the holistic development of student leadership. To address this, a community service program was conducted to foster adaptive and collaborative leadership among the 2025 board members of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Bakti Indonesia. The training took place on May 28, 2025, at Vinus Tourism Area, Songgon, Banyuwangi, using an experiential learning approach that combined theoretical concepts with practical application through indoor and outdoor activities. The program included leadership theory sessions, case discussions, team problem-solving simulations, an outbound leadership challenge, and individual and group reflection. Evaluation was conducted through pre-tests, post-tests, observations, and participant reflections. Results showed a 24.4% average increase in post-test scores, particularly in understanding adaptive leadership, collaborative ability, and readiness to face organizational dynamics. Behavioral changes were also evident, including improved listening, crisis readiness, and greater awareness of cross-divisional teamwork. Visual documentation and participant reflections confirmed the program’s transformational impact. This training effectively shaped student leadership that is participatory, contextual, and relevant to 21st-century challenges. Similar programs are recommended to be held regularly, accompanied by post-training mentoring and expansion to other student organizations for broader and more sustainable impact.

Abstract

The increasing development of internet access and the penetration of digital devices has had a significant impact on rural communities, enabling them to connect within the digital ecosystem. However, the low level of digital literacy among them has also increased their potential to become victims of cybercrime. This cybercrime not only causes material losses but also threatens individual security and privacy, as well as disrupts the social and economic stability in rural areas. Therefore, the protection and enhancement of digital literacy become essential preventive measures to reduce these risks. This community service program aims to improve digital literacy through socialization, education on various forms of cybercrime, training on measures to anticipate cybercrime, and practical use of anti-cybercrime applications on smartphones. With this program, it is hoped that Pacarejo Village can become a model in building local cyber resilience, which in turn can reduce the risk of cybercrime and enhance the digital security and well-being of the village community

Abstract

Community service through a mentoring program for writing hijaiyah letters at TPQ Baiturrahman. Education is a form of conscious effort to change circumstances. From not knowing to knowing. Education has an important role, especially in the progress of the nation. Education is the main center in the formation of national cadres. No exception for religious education. Religious education is an important education for every individual. Learning activities at TPQ are relatively the same as Islamic boarding schools. The difference is that if at TPQ students leave from home, then at Islamic boarding schools students are domiciled. The PKM method used in the study uses the INPO method, namely (input-process-output). The INPO method is divided into three stages, namely the input stage, the process stage, and the output stage. The INPO method is a method that combines field research with qualitative and quantitative, based on the mentoring activities for the ability to write hijaiyah letters at TPQ Baiturrahman running smoothly with a very effective level of understanding of 20% and an effective 80% meaning that this activity was maximally successful.

Abstract

The development of technology requires SMK students to master effective presentation skills using technology. To overcome the difficulties of XII grade students of SMK Roudlotul Mubtadiin Balekambang Jepara in the process of preparing final project presentations, the Balekambang Jepara Polytechnic service team organized training in making Canva-based presentations. The activity aimed to improve visual design competencies and presentation techniques through a participatory approach. The training was held for one day with 30 students majoring in Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering. The material covered three sessions: (1) Visual Design Principles (slide structure and CRAP technique), (2) Presentation Techniques (body language, time management), and (3) Canva Practice (final project slide making practice). Evaluation using pre-test/post-test and project assessment showed an increase in the average score from 58 to 82, with 85% of participants achieving scores above the standard (≥75). As a result, participants were able to apply presentation design with Canva templates, organize visual hierarchy, and present presentations more confidently. This activity can strengthen the synergy and cooperation between universities and vocational schools in preparing students for the world of work

Abstract

Desa Tegal Maja, Kabupaten Lombok Utara, memiliki potensi alam, sosial, dan budaya yang besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai desa wisata hijau berbasis keberlanjutan. Namun, keterbatasan infrastruktur, pemahaman masyarakat, serta lemahnya kapasitas manajerial menjadi hambatan dalam pengelolaan potensi tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat, khususnya kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis) dan perangkat desa, melalui pelatihan dasar manajemen desa wisata. Program dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan (Mei–Juli 2025) dengan tiga tahapan utama, yaitu sosialisasi dan workshop edukasi, pelatihan manajemen desa wisata, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan. Metode partisipatif digunakan untuk memastikan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam setiap tahap kegiatan. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pemahaman peserta mengenai konsep desa wisata hijau berdasarkan evaluasi pre-test dan post-test. Selain itu, tersusun buku panduan pengelolaan desa wisata hijau sebagai luaran strategis dan teridentifikasi sepuluh kader lokal sebagai calon pengelola wisata. Kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan kesadaran kolektif masyarakat akan pentingnya integrasi aspek lingkungan, budaya, dan ekonomi dalam pengembangan wisata. Dengan demikian, program ini menjadi pijakan awal dalam mewujudkan Desa Tegal Maja sebagai destinasi wisata hijau yang inklusif, partisipatif, dan berkelanjutan
