Jurnal Imiah Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (JIPM) merupakan jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarkat yang diterbitkan oleh CV.INDONESIA dengan Nomor Registrasi ISSN : 3026-1163 (Online). Terbit pertama kali bulan Juni 2023, dan diterbitkan 2 kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan (Juni dan Desember). Abstract

The young generation is one part of the Indonesian nation and state. The young generation is the successor to the nation's ideals, the better the quality of the young generation, the better the quality of a nation. Drug abuse is not a condition that is carried since birth, but is caused by association, environment and limited knowledge about the dangers of drugs are one of the factors causing teenagers to consume drugs. The increasing drug abuse has given rise to the urge to carry out socialization activities for the young generation in Tekuk Village, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency. The method used in this activity is the socialization method by providing material using the lecture method, providing an explanation of drug prevention for the young generation and questions and answers. The purpose of this socialization is to provide education and introduction regarding the significant negative impacts on the physical and mental health of the young generation due to drugs.

Abstract

Bullying at SDN 02 Sapan still often occurs, both in the form of fights and acts of teasing each otherbetween friends. Although teachers have given advice, bullying behavior continues to occur between students.Because, this activity aims to provide knowledge to students and schools about the forms and impacts of bullying, aswell as prevention efforts that can be taken by the school at SDN 02 Sapan. Bullying cases in elementary schoolsare serious problems that can have a negative impact on children's development, both psychologically and socially.Bullying not only interferes with the learning process, but can also reduce children's self-confidence and causelong-term trauma. This service aims to increase awareness and understanding of the dangers of bullying in the SDN02 Sapan environment through a socialization program involving students, teachers, and parents. The methods usedin this activity include providing interactive materials, group discussions, and creative activities as a form of antibullying commitment. Students are given an understanding of the definition of bullying, its forms, and the negativeimpacts it causes, while teachers and parents are given knowledge about how to recognize and handle bullyingcases. The main solution in dealing with bullying in elementary schools is collaboration between teachers andparents in motivating and developing student character.

Abstract

The financial literacy program is a strategic step in building a generation of the ummah that is integral, productive, and based on Islamic values by developing a sharia financial literacy program for students. The lack of public interest in Islamic economics is one of the reasons why there is a need to enhance Islamic economic literacy. With the implementation of community service conducted by Muhammadiyah University in the Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan course at Unismuh Makassar Junior High School, the aim is to provide education, inspire, and guide in enhancing the community's understanding of sharia economics. This research shows that students who participate in this program will have a better understanding of the basic concepts of sharia finance and will be more capable of applying them to their personal financial management. This program not only makes students more knowledgeable about finance but also makes them aware that they can help build a sustainable community economy.

Abstract

Bullying behavior is an issue that requires serious attention as it negatively impacts the mental health and social development of adolescents. This journal discusses the role of adolescents in creating social awareness about bullying through community empowerment programs. The research used qualitative methods of interviews and focus group discussions to explore the perceptions and experiences of students, teachers, and parents. The results show that adolescents can be effective agents of change in creating a safe and inclusive environment. Programs such as awareness campaigns and leadership training have been shown to increase empathy and understanding for victims of bullying. Research recommendations include collaboration between schools, families, and communities to create an ecosystem that supports bullying prevention.

Abstract

UMKM ADIBA75 merupakan usaha makanan ringanrumahan di Bandar Lampung yang menghadapi kendala dalampemasaran produk karena belum memanfaatkan media sosialsecara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untukmeningkatkan kapasitas pemasaran digital mitra melaluipelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan Instagram dan Facebook. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatanpartisipatif-edukatif dengan tahapan observasi, pelatihan, praktik, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mitra berhasilmembuat akun media sosial bisnis, mengunggah tujuh kontenpromosi secara mandiri, dan menerima tanggapan positif daricalon konsumen baru. Pengetahuan mitra tentang pemasarandigital juga meningkat signifikan dari skor 45% menjadi 85%. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa edukasi berbasis praktik digital marketing efektif dalam memperkuat daya saing UMKM di era digital. Disarankan adanya pendampingan lanjutan untukekspansi ke marketplace dan iklan digital agar dampakpemasaran lebih maksimal.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the strategies for empowering students in using artificial intelligence (AI) ethically and productively in the school environment. The background of this research is based on the increasing use of AI technology by students, but it has not been accompanied by an understanding of ethical values and social responsibility. This study uses a literature study method with a qualitative approach through thematic analysis of various relevant scientific sources in the last five years. The results show that the use of AI can improve students' creativity, digital literacy, and 21st century skills when accompanied by training and strengthening moral values. The role of teachers, an adaptive curriculum, and ethics-based education policies are key factors in encouraging the responsible use of AI. This study concludes that student empowerment in the use of AI is not only a technical aspect, but also an effort to build character and critical awareness of technology. The implications of this research are expected to contribute to the development of learning models that are relevant to the challenges of the digital era and provide policy direction for educational institutions.

Abstract

This research is an observational study conducted by students of the Community Service Program (KKN) from Universitas Negeri Padang in Desa Salak, Talawi Subdistrict, Sawahlunto City. It aims to describe the forms of social interaction among students at Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) YKB Talawi. Social interaction is a crucial aspect of the socio-emotional development of children with special needs, particularly in shaping their independence and social skills. The observation was carried out during several school activities, including the introductory session between KKN students and SLB students, an explanation by the teacher regarding the school, the Dhuha prayer activity, recess time, and when students ate their packed meals. The findings show that students engaged in various forms of social interaction, including simple verbal and nonverbal communication, responses to teacher instructions, and peer interactions in an atmosphere of tolerance and emotional support. The interaction patterns were influenced by the type of special needs, the nature of the activities, and the communication approaches used by teachers and KKN students. These findings are expected to serve as an initial reference for understanding social dynamics in special education settings and highlight the importance of adaptive approaches in fostering the social development of children with special needs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategies implemented by the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) JEMARI SAKATO in increasing active community participation in the development process in Padang City. Community participation is considered an important factor in realizing inclusive and sustainable development. By utilizing a qualitative approach and case study method, this study explores the various efforts and methods taken by JEMARI SAKATO in encouraging community participation in the planning, implementation, and monitoring stages of development programs. The results of the study revealed that JEMARI SAKATO implemented various strategies such as community assistance, public discussion forums, policy advocacy, and collaboration with various stakeholders. The effectiveness of these strategies was analyzed based on the level of community participation achieved, the perceived impact of the development program, and the challenges and opportunities faced by NGOs in their implementation. These findings are expected to enrich the understanding of the strategic role of NGOs in facilitating community participation in local development and provide practical recommendations for strengthening similar roles in other urban contexts.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of a house numbering system in Salak Village as an effort to improve administrative order and public service accessibility. Previously, the village faced challenges such as inaccurate population data, logistical difficulties, and obstacles in emergency services. Through a participatory approach, the village government conducted data collection, area mapping, and systematic installation of house numbers. The research results show an increase in public service efficiency, simplification of bureaucratic processes, and the formation of more effective village governance. This house numbering system also serves as a foundation for developing smart village concepts in the future. This finding is expected to be a reference for other villages facing similar problems in improving the quality of public services and village governance. The purpose of this community service is to improve public service accessibility through addressing, namely the creation of house numbers in Salak Village, which is a form of concern for the environment by helping to provide new house address markers. This aims to facilitate data collection and public services, as well as increase efficiency and accuracy in identifying houses. This community service was carried out through socialization methods and data collection of houses that need to be given house numbers. The result is that 350 houses in Salak Village have received house numbers, consisting of 114 houses in Dusun Pulau Ambacang, 86 houses in Dusun Talangung, and 150 houses in Dusun Ibus. The KKN team completed the house numbering process within 1-7 days. The response of Salak Village residents to house numbering was very enthusiastic, as it helped provide complete identity regarding their house addresses. In conclusion, this program produces a work program that is directly beneficial to the community and is well implemented through the Salak Village addressing program.

Abstract

KKN adalah program pengabdian masyarakat yang wajib dijalankan oleh mahasiswa sebagai bagian dari kurikulum pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia. Program ini bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang telah mereka pelajari ke dalam kehidupan nyata di masyarakat. Melalui KKN, mahasiswa tidak hanya berkontribusi langsung kepada masyarakat, tetapi juga memperoleh pengalaman berharga dalam memahami berbagai dinamika sosial, ekonomi dan lingkungan. Dalam KKNT Gelombang 113 di Desa Lamatti Riaja, mahasiswa mengususng program kerja Pelatihan Pengolahan biji buah kakao menjadi Essence. Program ini bertujuan sebagai upaya peningkatan ekonomi kreatif Masyarakat. Program kerja ini memakai metode demonstrasi yang melibatkan Masyarakat sekitar sehingga produk ini dapat dikembangkan.
