Abstract

As a result of the availability of learning pocketbook, understanding and mastery of certain materials must be improved. Therefore, for junior high school students learning that is supported by the right pocketbook is very important because it can facilitate teachers in transferring knowledge and make it easier for students to master the concept of English Pocketbook. Therefore, the researchers developed an Development of A pocketbook based on local culture of Dumpiness to Improve the speaking skill Concept Mastery in the fifth grade English subject at MTsN 1 Dompu. This study purposes to find out the product validity of the pocketbook based on local culture of Dompu to improve the speaking skill, and to find out the effectiveness learning media and find out how the level of feasibility and effectiveness of the media so as to produce valid, effective. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE model, which involves 5 main steps, namely: 1) Analysis, namely analyzing student needs and analyzing curriculum, 2) Development, 3) Product design, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The results of this assessment indicate that the English pocket book based on local culture has very good validity according to material experts getting a percentage of 85%, material experts 90%, teacher assessments 90% and student responses 84% which means this Learning Media “Worthy” to use.

Abstract

This study aims to describe theoretically the learning evaluation model and approach. The method used in this study is the literature review method. This method emphasizes textbooks as sources and studies. The results of this study found that the learning evaluation model is divided into two namely: a quantitative evaluation model and a qualitative evaluation model. Quantitative evaluation models include the black box Tyler model, theoretical model, CIPP model, and Alkin model. In contrast, the qualitative evaluation model includes a case study model, an illuminative model, and a responsive model. Learning evaluation approaches include traditional approaches and systems approaches. By applying this evaluation model and approach to learning, the learning evaluation process in the classroom will be systematic and the resulting output will be in line with the expectations of the education system

Abstract

CGC is an innovative method from the Conversation method but this one has different ways to teach English. CGG is focused on speaking that takes part everywhere in daily activities. This approach encourages students’ participation and gets ready the students to face real-life communication. At the leading edge, conversation manner can actually boost the students speaking and self-confidence. The type of research used in this study is classroom action research. The subject of this study is the students in 9th Grade of SMP IT AL-HILMI Dompu. The class chosen is 9th Akhwat Grade that consists of 20 students within. In conducting the research, the researcher did classroom observation, video recording, and an interview to make sure the students comprehension. , Research findings determined that the action and implication of the CGC technique in the teaching-learning process of speaking skill continued to improve. All of these data indicated that the students demonstrated a positive attitude and response during the teaching learning process CGC (Close-Gank Challenge) technique assisted students in learning how to speak easily. Based on the data and data analysis, it appeared that the student’s scores much improved

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of media usage movies with English subtitles in teaching vocabulary in the form of comprehension of descriptive text in grade VIII of SMPIT Al Fitrah Al Islamy Mangelewa Dompu School Year 2022/2023 Learning outcomes in this study include learning achievement in the form of cognitive skill and vocabulary mastery. This study was a Classroom Action Research study where the population is the whole class VIII SMPIT Al Fitrah Al Islamy Mangelewa Dompu School Year 2022/2023 Sampling was done by Probability sampling technique for the population in the unit class. Samples of the study were class VIII B a Main class that uses conventional teaching (lectures) and VIII A as a Comparative class that uses media movies with subtitles. The data were obtained through a pretest to know the students’ abilities. The statistical test used to test the hypothesis was the Mann-Whitney U test with a normal curve approach Z performed on the data post-test. Data post-test shows at the 0.05 significance level, the value of Z table = 1.99, and Z count (3.25)> Z table (1.99). Because the Z count is greater than the Z table, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This suggests that the using of media movies with English subtitles is effective in increasing knowledge of vocabulary in class VIII of SMPIT Al Fitrah Al Islamy Mangelewa

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the teachers’ strategy in teaching English vocabulary conducted by teachers to students on Youtube Video. It is conducted to know how the Teachers strategy is implemented by the teacher such as the material that the teacher used, the media that the teacher used, and the strategies that the teacher used. The researcher used descriptive qualitative to analyze the data. The researcher collected the data by observing Teachers’ strategies in teaching vocabulary on Video Youtube and analyzing teachers’ strategies in teaching English vocabulary on video youtube. The object of this research focuses on the teachers’ strategies in teaching English vocabulary in a case video on youtube.  Based on the collecting of the data, the researcher concluded that the material used by the English teacher is the Jobs such as (1) Astronaut, (2) Shop assistant, Etc. The media used by English teachers were pictures. Then, the strategies used by the teacher were: presentation, practicing, and explaining

Abstract

This study aims to describe theoretically attitude assessment, knowledge assessment, and skills assessment. The method used in this discussion is the literature review method. This method emphasizes textbooks as a source of data and theoretical studies. The results of this discussion found that attitude assessment includes: (1) spiritual assessment in which there is religion and morality, (2) social assessment in which there is discipline, responsibility, courtesy, honesty, tolerance, and self-confidence. For the assessment of knowledge includes: (1) written tests in which there are multiple-choice tests, description tests, and false correct tests, (2) oral tests in which there are quizzes and questions and answers, (3) assignment tests in which there are group and individual tests both in school and outside of school, (4) portfolio and observation tests. For skills, the assessment includes (1) an assessment of practice in which there is reading, writing practice, and listening practice, (2) a project-based assessment in which there is interest and creativity, (3) a portfolio assessment, and (4) an Instrument assessment

Abstract

Teachers understand that learning maths is often seen as less desirable, feared and avoided by most students. Teachers use different ways of learning mathematics, both using mathematics learning and mathematics learning methods, so that students do not feel afraid and know how to master mathematical concepts. The purpose of this study is to examine and investigate the application of risk management in mathematics learning due to learning anxiety. The method used in this article is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, which identifies, reviews, evaluates and interprets all existing research. Data collection was carried out by searching and reviewing 22 articles sourced from Google Scholar using Publish of Perish (PoP) software. Based on the results of this study, there are 5 important things that must be done in risk management in mathematics learning, namely (1) paying attention to the learning process which includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. (2) Always pay attention to student motivation by parents, the committee and the environment. (3) Always make mistakes to explore students' potential. (4) provide opportunities for students to choose their skills; and (5) maintain a learning environment that supports the growth of student confidence.

Abstract

A degree of health and physical fitness is obtained by actively exercising. The more regularly you exercise, the fitter you will be and vice versa. The less exercise, the risk of hypokinetic disease. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of sports participation of new students of the FIK UNCEN Sports Science Study Programme class of 2023. Using quantitative research with descriptive methods to draw the level of student sports participation. The sampling technique uses total sampling, namely the entire population of 88 new students. The data collection technique uses an index of participation in sports, namely a questionnaire that has been valid and reliable for use with a Conbach's alpha value of 0.934. The questionnaire consists of 24 positive statement items and 16 negative question items. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis using spss. 29. The results of the study found that the sports participation index of new students of the Sports Science Study Program of FIK UNCEN in terms of the dominant need aspect of the high category 44.3%, the dominant benefit aspect of the high category 43.2%, and the dominant attitude aspect of the 48.9% category. Based on the results of data analysis, it is concluded that the level of sports participation of new students of the FIK UNCEN Sports Science Study Program is dominant in the high category, although there are several sub-indicators that are still in the low category. Therefore, it is expected that FIK Cenderawasih University students increase their participation in sports activities by being active and involved in sports UKM or joining certain sports clubs. This is in addition to improving health status and supporting Papua as a sports province

Abstract

Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi adalah pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan kemampuan setiap siswa yang berbeda-beda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi di SDN Gugus I Kecamatan Mataram. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Adapun jumlah sampel penelitian adalah empat sekolah yang terdiri dari guru kelas I dan guru kelas IV yang ada di SDN Gugus I Kecamatan Mataram. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah metode angket/kuesioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data atau informasi tentang “Kemampuan Guru dalam Menerapkan Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi di SDN Gugus I Kecamatan Mataram”. Uji validitas instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji validasi ahli. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh nilai rata-rata deskriptif persentase dari ketujuh indikator kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yaitu sebesar 83,75% dan termasuk dalam kriteria “Tinggi”. Nilai deskriptif persentase tertinggi diperoleh pada kemampuan guru dalam melakukan perencanaan dan pelaksanaan asesmen diagnostik serta kemampuan guru dalam melakukan penyesuaian pembelajaran dengan tahap capaian dan karakteristik siswa yang memiliki nilai deskriptif persentase sebesar 87,5% dan termasuk dalam kriteria “Tinggi”. Nilai deskriptif persentase terendah diperoleh pada kemampuan guru dalam melakukan pelaporan kemajuan belajar yang memiliki nilai deskriptif persentase sebesar 68,75% dan termasuk dalam kriteria “Sedang”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui evaluasi pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi WhatsApp pada mata pelajaran kimia di kelas XI di SMA Kabupaten Donggala. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik dari beberapa sekolah yang ada di SMA Kabupaten Donggala yang berjumlah sekitar 98 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket ( kuesioner), wawancara, dan dokumentasi . Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan dalam evaluasi pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp pada mata pelajaran kimia di kelas XI SMA di Donggala, didapatkan hasilnya dalam pengenalan Whatsapp 76,7 % menunjukkan bahwa Sebagian besar peserta didik mengetahui aplikasi dan cara penggunaan aplikasi, 53,4 % menyatakan setuju bahwa keterlaksanaan prose belajar terlaksana dengan baik, 42,5 % menyatakan bahwa dengan adanya aplikasi Whatsapp membuat guru dan siswa bisa berkomunikasi dan berintekasi dan mengakses materi yang diberikan dengan baik dan 40,3 % menyatakan bahwa tidak  memiliki kendala dalam keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa evaluasi proses pembelajaran daring di SMA Kabupaten Donggala kategori baik.
