Abstract

This study aims to analyze marketing strategies for increasing the virality of the music industry through the social media platforms TikTok and Instagram. A qualitative approach with a descriptive research method was employed. Data were collected through interviews with music industry practitioners, observations of content on TikTok and Instagram, and documentation. The data were then analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The findings reveal that effective marketing strategies include trend research, consistent content creation, active audience engagement, collaboration with influencers, and the effective use of platform features such as Reels, Duets, hashtags, and content performance analytics. However, constantly changing algorithms, intense competition, and the challenge of maintaining long-term audience engagement remain the primary obstacles to increasing music virality through social media.

Abstract

Speaking ability is a fundamental component of English language learning; however, many students have limited opportunities to practice speaking in authentic communicative contexts. This study aimed to investigate the influence of the English Day Program on students' speaking ability at the senior high school level. The research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational design. The participants were selected through simple random sampling, and the data were collected using a questionnaire to measure students' participation in the English Day Program and a speaking test to assess their speaking ability. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson Product-Moment correlation, and simple linear regression. The findings revealed that the English Day Program had a significant positive influence on students' speaking ability. Students who actively participated in the program demonstrated higher levels of fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension than those with lower participation. Therefore, the English Day Program can be considered an effective strategy for improving students' English-speaking ability.

Abstract

Workload refers to the amount of work targets or outcomes that must be achieved within a specific unit of time, while performance denotes the results and behaviors exhibited in completing assigned tasks and responsibilities during a given period. Excessive workload among healthcare professionals, including nurses in Community Health Center, leads to difficulties in achieving optimal performance outcomes. Overlapping schedules between service delivery and health screening activities make task completion challenging, impacting performance reports and the achievement of Health Center program targets. This study aims to analyze the influence of workload on employee performance at Purwoasri Health Center, Kediri Regency in 2025. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The population comprises all employees at Purwoasri Health Center, totaling 44 respondents. Non-probability sampling (Saturation Sampling) was used to include all population members as samples. Data collection employed questionnaires, and data analysis utilized simple linear regression with SPSS v.22 for Windows. Based on the results of simple linear regression, the obtained significance value of 0.00 < 0.05 indicates a significant influence. In conclusion, workload has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. It is recommended that Health Center management conducts a reassessment of job descriptions to ensure tasks assigned align with each employee's capacities and skills.

Abstract

Reading comprehension difficulties experienced by students can be attributed to two main factors: internal and external factors. Limited vocabulary knowledge is one of the difficulties students face when reading English texts. Many students have limited English vocabulary, which can make it difficult for them to understand the meaning of the texts they read. This research was conducted using a qualitative method, with a questionnaire as the data collection technique. The questionnaire was distributed to fourth-semester students of the English Education Study Program at the University of Kapuas. Based on the respondents’ answers, the findings indicate that the length of the text itself was not necessarily the main difficulty. Instead, students experienced greater difficulties in understanding the content of the text. Therefore, students’ difficulties in reading long English texts may be influenced not only by the length of the texts but also by their ability to comprehend the content and maintain their interest and concentration while reading.
