Abstract

Abstract: Plastic is widely used as packaging because it has many advantages and general properties such as being resistant to chemicals, insulating against heat and electricity, light and flexible. At this time, people in the city of Palembang still find it difficult to limit the use of plastic bags. It is hoped that public awareness of the negative impacts can contribute more by carrying shopping bags that can be used many times. Therefore, according to the designer, shopping bags of various types can be made wrong. One solution to reduce the use of plastic bags in Palembang City.

Abstract

Abstract : The South Sumatra State Museum consists of 5 museums, namely Balaputra Dewa Museum, Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Museum, Textile Museum, and Sriwijaya Museum. However, these 5 museums do not have any identity at all. Therefore, the author wants to provide an educational information media that can inform and invite museum managers to pay more attention to how to manage museums in this modern convergence era. It is expected that the purpose of this design is intended as a medium of education and information that can provide knowledge to museum managers to increase the number of local and foreign tourist visits.

Abstract

Abstract: Farming activities are more specific to the agricultural sector which can support the economic needs of the community. People have become accustomed to doing the conventional system in agriculture, namely by cultivating the land first and then waiting for the rain to fall is the right time to plant. Of course, this is not an effective activity when compared between the past and today as it is today. The research method used in this design is 5W+2H Public knowledge about the use of vegetable cultivation through hydroponic systems is still minimal and no one has made social campaigns about vegetable cultivationthrough hydroponic systems, then it is necessary to design a social campaign for vegetable cultivation through a hydroponic system in Palembang City by making the main media motion graphic videos on how to cultivate vegetables through a hydroponic system which is expected to make the target target to understand how to cultivate vegetables through a hydroponic system by utilizing makeshift land and willing to practice it at home so that starting from a small environment the community can be self-sufficient in food.

Abstract

Abstract (10 pt): When you drink young coconut water, it is very fresh and has a sweet taste because it contains sugar. Apart from that, it has a number of macro and microminerals. Coconut water also contains vitamins and protein, although in small amounts. Young coconut water contains water protein, arginine, alanine, cysteine and serine, which are four types of high amino acids. Young coconut water contains a number of complete nutrients and is beneficial for body health. The nutritional content of young coconut water is protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamin C, vitamin B complex, sugar, electrolytes and growth hormone. The types of sugar contained in young coconut water are sucrose, glucose, fructose and sorbitol. Designing a social campaign for the benefits of young coconut water for body health in Palembang City using video. By designing the video in this campaign, the author hopes that the public will know the many benefits of young coconut water for body health through the main media that will be designed by the author in the form of video motion graphics and supporting media such as calendars, books, posters, videos and branding. This campaign media will be made as attractive as possible so that people are interested in reading the information and education presented.

Abstract

Abstract: The Electronic Information and Transaction Law was first passed through Law No.11 of 2008 before finally being revised with Law No.19 of 2016. Based on the results of the questionnaire distributed, it can be concluded that many teenagers in the city of Palembang still do not know about the ITE Law. For this reason, it is necessary to introduce the ITE Law in order to prevent and avoid crime when accessing the internet and social media. In overcoming this problem, the author uses the design thinking method which consists of several stages, namely emphatize, define, ideate, prototype and test. After going through several stages, producing the main media in the form of illustrated books that summarize various information to introduce the ITE Law with attractive illustrations and bright colors adjusting the target target. The supporting media created in the form of digital and print posters, Instagram feeds, X-Banners, catalogs, stickers, tote bags, keychains, note books, standee mascots, and T-shirts. The creation of these media is expected so that the public is aware of the importance of knowing and implementing the ITE Law.

Abstract

Abstract: Epresso is a beverage produced from finely ground coffee beans, which are then pressed using a manual tool or an espresso machine filled with water to extract the liquid, resulting in what is known as espresso. Once the espresso is prepared, there is waste generated by coffee makers, leading to accumulated garbage. This is the reason why the author has created a social campaign design to promote the utilization of espresso waste in Palembang city.

Abstract

Abstract : Deaf Children are children who have hearing deficiencies so they cannot hear sounds perfectly. There are two types, namely mild and severe deafness. Mild deafness is a child who can hear and differentiate the sounds of words and animals and also uses assistive devices, but the drawback is that not everyone can hear clear sounds. Meanwhile, severe deafness means only being able to hear sounds, for example whether there is a sound or not, and not being able to differentiate between the sounds of words or animals either. Hearing Aids for deaf people are devices that help people hear sounds around them. Illustration is processing or creative work that provides image or visuals that are always used to tell or illustrate something creative, such as image illustrators who use manual or digital tools. The aim is to clarify the plot of the story and convey the contents of the story from deaf children so that readers can understand when reading. Illustrations help deaf people by telling stories of deaf children struggling to become successful and also deaf children having the motivation to provide encouragement to the deaf community.

Abstract

Abstract : Deaf children are children who do not have the ability to hear well so their way of communicating is different from hearing people. Video Documentation is a visual video work that tells real life stories or introduces certain topics with a factual approach through their activities, the reality of an event. Video documentation and illustrations are the result of imagination to convey information or official evidence in the form of writing, photos, videos, images for various purposes. Video documentation and illustrations are used as a reference for deaf children in writing short stories to tell about the journey of life as a deaf child and the real life that occurs in everyday life for deaf children. In general, deaf children experience difficulties in communicating verbally and hamper the development of their abilities. The role of video documentation aims to convey information about how to communicate with deaf children in verbal form and everyday sign language. This also helps to prove the abilities of deaf children to society to provide insight to the general public on how to communicate easily with deaf children. Apart from that, the development of video documentation and illustrations can help people in the process of learning to communicate directly with deaf children in making social adjustments.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi, terutama internet, mendorong desainer grafis untuk menjadi lebih produktif dan inovatif dalam berkarya. Mereka semakin aktif dalam menyebarkan karya desain grafis melalui berbagai platform media sosial dan saluran lainnya. Namun, konsekuensi dari hal ini adalah peningkatan kasus plagiasi, karena kemudahan akses untuk melihat karya orang lain secara daring. Masalah utamanya yakni bagaimana pelanggaran kode etik bisa memengaruhi permasalahan plagiasi dalam ilmu desain komunikasi visual. Pada penulisan ini metode yang digunakan penulis yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi kasus plagiasi dan representasi yang tidak akurat dalam ilmu desain komunikasi visual. Hasil yang didapat yaitu plagiarisme dalam kaitannya dengan dunia desain komunikasi visual menjadi fenomena yang sudah sering terjadi bahkan dianggap lumrah bagi individu, maupun kelompok tertentu. Dengan terbiasa melakukan praktik plagiarisme ini, desainer menjadi tidak terlatih, menjadi terlalu bergantung terhadap karya orang lain yang mengarah kepada malasnya desainer dalam mencari ide dan kreatifitas yang meredup. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan sumbangsih dalam mengurangi plagiarism dalam bidang ilmu Desain Komunikasi Visual.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas kampanye iklan layanan masyarakat yang diluncurkan oleh Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu) dengan tema "Tolak Politik Uang". Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas iklan layanan masyarakat tersebut dalam meningkatkan kesadaran publik dan mengubah perilaku terkait politik uang. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis konten untuk mengevaluasi pesan-pesan yang disampaikan dalam iklan, untuk mengukur tingkat kesadaran dan respons masyarakat terhadap iklan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklan layanan masyarakat Bawaslu "Tolak Politik Uang" berhasil menarik perhatian publik dan meningkatkan kesadaran akan bahaya politik uang dalam proses pemilu. Selain itu, iklan ini dapat mempengaruhi sikap dan perilaku masyarakat dalam menolak praktik politik uang. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan politik uang dalam konteks demokrasi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan untuk terus menguatkan kampanye iklan layanan masyarakat semacam ini dengan mengoptimalkan penggunaan media sosial dan melibatkan berbagai pihak, termasuk media sosial dan masyarakat sipil, dalam upaya menyebarluaskan pesan anti-politik uang secara lebih luas dan efektif.
