Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed the landscape of visual content acquisition and utilisation. Microstock platforms such as Shutterstock facilitate global access to licensed content for various user segments. This study aims to empirically analyse the influence of price and product quality on purchasing decisions on the Shutterstock platform, with a case study of the Digital Marketing community. Using a quantitative approach through a survey method, primary data was collected from 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results of the study revealed contrasting findings: product quality was found to have a statistically significant influence on purchasing decisions, while price did not show a significant influence. This indicates that quality attributes such as resolution, uniqueness, aesthetics, and legality are the main determinants that consumers consider more than price when purchasing digital visual content. This study provides insights into consumer behaviour and priorities in selecting licensed visual content in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the significant impact of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), Positive Emotion, and Shopping Lifestyle on Impulse Buying behaviour on the TikTok Shop platform. Using a quantitative approach with primary and secondary data sources, this study collected data through questionnaires, observations, and literature studies. The research sample consisted of 130 students in Surakarta who were selected using convenience quota sampling techniques. The data analysis methodology used was comprehensive, covering instrument testing (validity and reliability), classical assumption testing (multicollinearity, autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, and normality), and multiple linear regression analysis supplemented with hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test) and the coefficient of determination (R2). The results showed that all instruments were valid (p < 0.05) and reliable (Cronbach's Alpha > 0.60), and the regression model met all the classical assumptions tested. The regression model formed was Y = 1.632 + 0.354 X₁ + 0.200 X₂ + 0.234 X₃. Partially (t-test), the variables FOMO (X₁), Positive Emotion (X₂), and Shopping Lifestyle (X₃) were proven to have a statistically significant effect on Impulse Buying (Y). The F-test results also confirmed that this regression model was feasible and significant (fit). Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) value of 0.584 indicates that 58.4% of the variation in Impulse Buying can be explained simultaneously by the three independent variables, while the remaining 41.6% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of human resource management (HRM) strategies at Putra Fiber, a medium-sized micro-industry in Sukoharjo, to understand its role in improving employee performance. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with deductive analysis, where data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the analysis show that although essential HRM functions (procurement, training, compensation) are carried out informally, these practices are quite effective. The obstacles identified include: (1) the absence of a structured recruitment and training system; (2) the lack of career paths; (3) the absence of documented work SOPs. The main strengths lie in the open communication culture and familial relationships. The recommendation is that HRM systems need to be formalised, particularly through the development of SOPs and training programmes, in order to improve the quality and sustainability of the organisation's performance.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of cryptocurrency and commodity prices on the movement of the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) in Indonesia during the period 2020–2024. Motivated by the increasing complexity and interconnectivity of global financial markets, this study examines the independent variables of Bitcoin, Ethereum, gold, and world crude oil prices against the dependent variable of the IHSG, based on the Efficient Market Hypothesis (EMH). Using a quantitative approach, this study analyses monthly secondary data through a multiple linear regression model. The results of the analysis show that, simultaneously, the four independent variables have a significant effect on the IHSG. However, partial testing produced different findings: only the prices of gold and global crude oil were found to have a significant effect, while the prices of Bitcoin and Ethereum did not show a statistically significant effect. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) value of 0.874 indicates that 87.4% of the variation in the IHSG can be explained collectively by the four predictor variables in this model.
