Abstract

Studying English and Arabic has become a necessity amidst the dynamics of current developments, especially in the current era of Society 5.0. This era has a basic concept in the form of transforming a conventional way of life into a digital one. One of the challenges that awaits the world of education in the Society 5.0 era is how to bring together science and technology without sacrificing students. Through this service the author wants to identify and describe the challenges faced by English and Arabic in the era of society 5.0 based on the use of interactive applications through guidance and English and Arabic learning videos. The results of this service explain that teachers must have special skills to optimize the use of technology in the learning process, so that students can absorb more of the material. All parties and stakeholders involved in English and Arabic learning activities must be willing to improve so that they are able to maintain their existence in this digital era.

Abstract

This service aims to improve character education for early childhood in families in Tolan I/II plantation villages. The problem raised in this research is the role of students in Tolan I/II Plantation villages as educators for children. The results of the research show that the character values ​​given by students to children in Tolan I/II Hamlet II plantation villages include: students train self-discipline in children, train perseverance, responsibility from an early age, humble attitude towards others, Cultivate good manners, uphold the values ​​of honesty, love for Allah by getting used to worshiping on time.

Abstract

This research examines the role of the Mangku Alam Farmers Group in Pagersari Village, Bergas District, Semarang Regency in improving community welfare through the clove plantation program. This farmer group was formed as a solution to the problems faced by farmers, such as the scarcity of fertilizer and low selling prices for their crops. With a qualitative approach, this research uses interview, observation and documentation methods.   The research results show that the Mangku Alam Farmers Group not only acts as a forum for empowering farmers through training and providing agricultural facilities, but also succeeds in increasing the income and standard of living of its members. Programs such as making organic fertilizer and planting cloves have a positive impact on the community's economy and foster a spirit of togetherness and mutual cooperation. This research emphasizes the importance of organizing farmer groups in solving poverty problems at the local level.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze strategies for developing coffee businesses based on community self-reliance and the role of self-reliance in supporting the sustainability of coffee businesses in Genting Village, Jambu District, Semarang Regency. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was tested using triangulation of sources, techniques and time.   The research results show that the coffee business development strategy involves easy access to capital, development of business infrastructure, community economic empowerment, development of business networks, as well as increasing human resource capacity and access to technology. Community self-sufficiency makes a positive contribution to economic, social and environmental aspects, by creating prosperity and sustainability for future generations. These findings show the importance of self-reliance-based collaboration in increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of local businesses.

Abstract

Education in Sigambo-gambo Village is an education that is classified as minimal in terms of human resources, namely teaching staff and facilities that can support the teaching and learning process of children. So as to create the quality of the young generation below average. In this article, the author uses the Participatory Action Reasearch approach. The work program formed is in the form of a Learning House work program which is specifically for children in Sigambo-gambo Village in an effort to improve the quality of education. Abstract

This study discusses the impact of addiction to playing online games and its implications for personality in children aged 10-13 at the elementary school level in Air Merah Village, Air Serdang Hamlet, Kampung Rakyat District, South Labuhan Batu Regency. Online game addiction is playing online games excessively so that online games are the main focus and get good attention from others without thinking about other things to do. Changes in the behavior of students who are addicted to online games may not feel, but the social personality of children can be felt by people around their environment, especially parents. Social personality is the overall behavior of an individual with a certain tendency system that interacts with the situation. This study uses a qualitative research approach. The research subjects were children aged 10-13 at the elementary school level in Air Merah Village, Air Serdang hamlet, Kampung Rakyat District, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency. Collecting data using observation, interviews, documentation and field notes. Data analysis includes data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the impact of playing games can affect the development of children's social personalities, such as children's rebellious behavior, children's aggressive attitudes, children's quarreling/fighting attitudes, children's competitive attitudes, children's cooperative attitudes, the child's powerful behavior, the child's selfish/selfish attitude and the child's sympathy. Children when playing games will focus on the game and ignore the surrounding environment.

Abstract

This service aims to improve the ability to read the Qur'an for children in Teluk Roban Village, Central Tapanuli. The service is approaching the PAR (Participatory Action Research) system method through mentoring and guidance to improve the quality of reading the Qur'an in children in Teluk Roban Village, Sorkam District, Tapanuli Temgah Regency, there needs to be real action in providing various methods to improve children's ability to read the Quran. The conclusion of the dedication to improve the ability of children in Teluk Roban Village in reading the Qur'an shows an improvement. Both in mastering the reading of makhrojul letters and knowing how to read hijaiyah properly and correctly as well as fluency in reading the Qur'an

Abstract

This study aims to identify empowerment strategies implemented by the Ngudi Luhur II Group to improve the economy through dairy farming in Randuacir Village, Argomulyo District, Salatiga City, and analyze its economic impact. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that this group has implemented several empowerment strategies, such as technical training and feed management, cooperative systems for access to capital and financial management, product diversification, collective marketing, and the use of modern technology. This empowerment program successfully increased members' income by 75–150%, improved milk price stability, and enhanced members' economic welfare.

Abstract

This study analyzes community empowerment strategies through horticultural business development at UD. Akur Tani in Sidomulyo Village, Salaman District, Magelang Regency. By implementing targeted strategies, UD. Akur Tani assists the community in overcoming knowledge gaps, limited government support, and low awareness of horticultural innovation. This research employs a qualitative method with a field research approach, utilizing interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the empowerment program positively impacts economic, social, and environmental aspects. Economically, it creates job opportunities; socially, it increases community awareness in land utilization; and environmentally, it promotes sustainable agricultural practices.

Abstract

Climate change and environmental degradation are global challenges, the condition of the world's ecosystem is starting to change, the damaged environment, unpredictable climate and weather, affecting the sustainability of life of living things. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are designed to address various global challenges, including climate change and environmental degradation. The purpose of this community service activity (PKM) is to increase public awareness of the importance of protecting the environment, greening critical land, increasing local food security, improving the community economy, empowering communities, increasing inter-institutional collaboration, realizing sustainable development, introducing PKM activities, building global-local collaboration. This service was carried out in Sitiarjo Village, Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency. 200 fruit seedlings are assistance from the Public Company (Perum) Jasa Tirta 1 Malang. The planting of these fruit seedlings was initiated by a consortium of the International Affairs Office (KUI) throughout Malang Raya, and was carried out in February 2025. The participants involved were 140 people consisting of foreign and local students, lecturers, KUI staff, junior high and high school students and the Sitiarjo village youth organization. In addition, material was also provided on Let's Garden Agroforestry Model, how to fertilize and farm in Japan. The PKM activity has been carried out well and received a positive response from the community. This PKM has a positive impact on environmental goodness, increasing community and village income, and world sustainability.
