Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan dan menginternalisasi nilai-nilai kehidupan yang bersumber dari Al-Qur’an dalam kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendekatan edukatif-partisipatoris dengan metode halaqah Qur’aniyah, pelatihan tafsir tematik aplikatif, serta penguatan literasi Qur’ani berbasis konteks sosial. Sasaran program adalah komunitas masyarakat desa yang mengalami degradasi nilai sosial dan spiritual. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai Qur’ani, perubahan sikap positif dalam interaksi sosial, serta munculnya kesadaran kolektif untuk menjadikan Al-Qur’an sebagai rujukan etika hidup. Program ini memberikan kontribusi dalam membangun ketahanan spiritual dan etika masyarakat secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This community empowerment activity was carried out with the cricket farming community in Parengan Village, Jetis District, Mojokerto Regency. The program aims to increase farmers’ capacity in controlling caterpillar pests that frequently reduce production. The implementation used the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method with five stages: Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, and Destiny. The empowerment process was participatory, involving training on natural pest control, demonstrations of herbal pesticide production, and field mentoring. The results showed that farmers became more disciplined in maintaining cleanliness, sterilizing cages, and using local natural materials such as soursop leaves and tobacco to control pests. Socially, the activity fostered collective awareness, the emergence of a local leader, and stronger solidarity among farmers. This empowerment program not only improved technical capabilities but also fostered social transformation, encouraging farmers to become more independent and sustainable in strengthening the local economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of understanding of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Central Tapanuli students about religious moderation, religious literacy, and response to the issue of radicalism in the madrasah environment. The research approach uses a qualitative method strengthened with quantitative data through the distribution of a Likert scale questionnaire to 25 grade XII students. The data was analyzed descriptively by reviewing four main indicators: religious moderation, religious literacy, radicalism and attitudes towards differences, as well as social media and digital moderation. The results of the study showed that all aspects were in the "Agree" category with an average score above 3.9, indicating students' positive attitudes towards the values of moderation, tolerance, and digital religiosity. Community service programs implemented through the blended learning model  have proven to be effective in increasing students' awareness of religious moderation and religious literacy. These findings show a strong relationship between religious literacy and moderate attitudes in rejecting radicalism. Students with high literacy levels are more critical of religious content and are able to select information wisely on social media. This study recommends strengthening the religious moderation curriculum and religious digital literacy training to strengthen the ideological resilience of madrasah students in the digital era.

Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen the moral character and resilience of Muslim youth in facing modern challenges, especially the increasing threat of drug abuse. The method used is a participatory and educative approach through interactive seminars, focus group discussions, and role-play activities that emphasize preventive awareness based on Islamic moral values. The training materials include knowledge about the dangers of drugs, Islamic teachings on self-control and health, as well as strategies to develop resistance against negative social influences. The participants, consisting of students and young community members, are guided by a team of educators, health professionals, and religious leaders to ensure holistic learning outcomes. The implementation process is supported by pre- and post-assessments, observation, and participant reflection to evaluate the level of understanding and behavioral improvement. The results show that this activity effectively increases awareness, strengthens personal values, and builds resilience among youth. In conclusion, the integration of religious and educational approaches in drug prevention training plays an essential role in forming a generation of Muslims who are morally upright, aware of social risks, and capable of making positive life choices in the modern era.

Abstract

The gap in access to legal justice remains a reality faced by marginalized communities in various regions, particularly those who are poor, less educated, and live in remote areas. This article examines the implementation of free legal services as a form of community service in an effort to improve access to substantive justice. Activities are carried out through a participatory approach involving academics, students, and legal practitioners, with a focus on legal education, consultations on civil and minor criminal cases, and administrative assistance. The results of the activities indicate that free legal services not only play a role in resolving legal problems directly but also increase community awareness and legal empowerment. These findings emphasize the importance of inclusive and sustainable community-based legal aid institutions to strengthen the democratization of access to the justice system.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan kewirausahaan menjadi salah satu strategi utama dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa secara berkelanjutan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas wirausaha muda di Desa X melalui pelatihan kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal, khususnya di bidang produk olahan pertanian. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan intensif, pendampingan bisnis, serta digitalisasi pemasaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan kewirausahaan, motivasi usaha, serta munculnya lima unit usaha baru yang dijalankan oleh pemuda desa. Pengabdian ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif dalam menumbuhkan ekosistem kewirausahaan lokal.

Abstract

Quranic literacy is an essential aspect in strengthening the religious literacy of Muslims. Unfortunately, a number of communities in rural and marginalized areas still face limitations in accessing systematic and sustainable Quranic education. This article examines the implementation of a community service program designed to improve Quranic literacy through a community-based coaching approach. Implementation methods included intensive training, coaching local Quranic teachers, the use of structured modules, and a continuous monitoring and evaluation system. The program results showed significant improvements in the ability to recognize the hijaiyah letters, the makharijul huruf, and the skills to copy holy verses. Furthermore, the program encouraged the creation of a conducive, inclusive, and sustainable Quranic learning environment. The article concludes that the program's success was influenced by a participatory approach, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and adaptation of teaching methods to local characteristics.

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower village communities through the establishment of waste banks as a solution for sustainable waste management. The background of the activity is the increasing volume of unmanaged household waste, which has led to environmental and health problems in the village. The waste bank was chosen as an instrument because it can integrate environmental, social, and economic aspects simultaneously. The service method is carried out using a participatory approach, including outreach, technical training on waste sorting, waste bank administration management, and mentoring community groups. The results of the activity show an increase in community awareness of the importance of waste management starting from the household level. The community has become accustomed to sorting organic and inorganic waste and submitting it to the waste bank. The collected waste is then processed or resold, generating economic value for the community. In addition to impacting environmental cleanliness, this program also creates a circular economic system in the village, where waste is viewed as a resource, not a burden. The waste bank has proven to be an effective instrument for empowering village communities, strengthening community participation, and supporting environmentally friendly sustainable development.

Abstract

This community service program was implemented in Central Tapanuli Regency with the aim of increasing community capacity in addressing malnutrition through innovative training in preparing healthy and nutritious food. The background of the activity is based on the persistently high number of cases of malnutrition among toddlers and school children, which is generally triggered by unbalanced consumption patterns and a lack of family knowledge about nutritious menu variations. The implementation method used a participatory approach, involving Posyandu cadres, housewives, PAUD teachers, and village youth. The activity stages began with identifying local nutritional needs, followed by training in creating menus based on local food ingredients such as fish, vegetables, and tubers. The innovative training emphasized the combination of traditional recipes with modern techniques, so that the food was not only nutritious, but also practical and attractive to children. The implementation results showed an increase in participants' knowledge about balanced nutrition and skills in processing local food ingredients into healthy meals. Questionnaire evaluations showed that 78% of participants began routinely implementing the new menus at home. In addition, a group of mothers concerned with nutrition was formed, which functions as agents of change at the community level. This program demonstrates that innovative training based on local potential can be an effective strategy in preventing malnutrition and strengthening food security in the Central Tapanuli community.

Abstract

The low reading interest of school-age children in West Pasaman Regency presents a serious challenge to the development of education and a culture of literacy. This community service program aims to develop innovative management of Community Reading Parks (TBM) as a strategy to improve children's literacy. The background of the activity is based on the fact that most TBMs in this region are not optimally managed, lack innovation, and lack engaging activities for children. The implementation method uses a participatory approach involving TBM managers, teachers, parents, and literacy volunteers. Activities include TBM management training, the provision of creative reading corners, the development of educational game-based literacy programs, and regular mentoring for children. Innovations implemented include storytelling corners, weekly reading clubs, and the integration of simple digital media to attract the interest of the younger generation. The results of the activity show an increase in children's enthusiasm in utilizing TBMs, marked by an increase in the number of daily visits and active involvement in literacy activities. Furthermore, the capacity of TBM managers to design sustainable programs has increased. This program demonstrates that innovative TBM management can be an effective strategy in fostering a culture of literacy among school-age children in West Pasaman.
