Abstract

One of the strategies implemented to achieve learning objectives is through the implementation of a hidden curriculum. This type of research is descriptive qualitative about hidden curriculum which will describe the religious character of students at the Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan State Islamic University, involving interviews, observation and document analysis to understand the impact on students' religious character. The implementation of this hidden curriculum increases learning, with the hidden curriculum it does not directly change students' mindsets but gradually changes their habits with the hidden curriculum. Although much research has been conducted on the implementation of the hidden curriculum, especially in the context of its religious character, there is still some lack of research and room for further research, the local context of Ma'had al-Jami'ah, the role of teaching and administrative staff and students' understanding of the hidden curriculum. .

Abstract

Using the inquiry learning model to increase student activity in the learning process. The inquiry method encourages students to question, investigate, and make their own discoveries, thereby increasing their understanding and involvement in learning. The use of the inquiry model significantly increases student activity, promotes critical thinking, and deepens their understanding of the subject matter. The pedagogical implications of this research support the use of the inquiry model as an effective strategy to facilitate more student-centered and discovery-oriented learning. The aim of using the inquiry learning model is to increase student activity in the learning process through student-centered learning, facilitating exploration, inquiry and problem solving. By encouraging students to question, investigate, and make their own discoveries, the inquiry model helps build deeper understanding, increases student engagement, and promotes the development of critical thinking skills and research skills that are important in learning. The inquiry learning model promotes student activity through an approach that places students as the main learning agents. In inquiry, students are invited to ask questions, investigate and discover their own knowledge through exploration and reflex. The purpose of this writing is to discuss strategies for implementing inquiry learning. The inquiry learning strategy states that the teacher as a learning source is not the only one, there are many more learning sources that can support successful learning. The teacher is only a facilitator, a guide who always directs students in learning. Students are designed as discoverers or seekers of knowledge, a teacher's job is to manage students so that they gain knowledge and become meaningful.

Abstract

As technology becomes more advanced, humans must optimize their minds and ethics. Education is essential to generate intelligent and moral generations. Islamic religious education serves as a source of truth values of power that can produce the desired action.  Character education is a necessity of the Indonesian state.  This study investigates the teaching of Islam in the era of the digital revolution.  This research uses qualitative methods. with the type of library research or research library.  Researchers analyze written literature, which consists of books, research journals and prosiding seminars. According to this study, the values of religion, Pancasila, culture, and national education purposes are the source of character education in Islamic education. In Islamic religious education, impementation of character is carried out through teaching, uniformity, customization, coercion, and punishment to build the character of the student.

Abstract

The policies of Harun Ar-Rashid and Al-Ma'mun in the development of Islamic education during the Abbasid Caliphate were very influential on the progress of science. Harun Ar-Rashid established the Baitul Hikmah in Baghdad, which became a centre for translation and scientific research from various civilisations. This opened up access to Greek, Persian and Indian scholarly texts, enriching the Islamic scholarship. Meanwhile, Al-Ma'mun expanded and strengthened the Baitul Hikmah, and encouraged translation and scholarship more aggressively. Problems encountered included tensions between the conservative views of traditional scholars and new scientific ideas that were perceived to threaten religious beliefs. In addition, limited funds and skilled human resources also posed challenges to the wider dissemination of education. The policies of the two caliphs led to the Golden Age of Islam, where knowledge flourished and became the foundation for the advancement of civilisation. However, this success also required a balance between innovation and conservatism to maintain harmony in a diverse society.

Abstract

Islamic education is increasingly developing along with developments in time and technology. Technology can support educational progress, especially in the digital era. The digital generation includes people born in 1980 and above who frequently use new technologies such as the Internet, video games, cell phones and all digital era devices. Dogotarians are more technologically literate than those born before the digital era. This research uses library research methods or is called library research. The aim is to collect relevant information regarding the topic of the development of Islamic education in the digital generation. From the information and literature obtained by researchers, this research concludes that the development of Islamic education in the digital generation is greatly advanced by current technological science, namely digital technology. The role of technology in the development of Islamic education is to provide appropriate and quality educational facilities to achieve quality character education.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of Qur'an-based physics learning in preparation for the Madrasah Science Competition (KSM) at MAN 2 Padangsidimpuan, North Sumatra. The main problem faced is the lack of integration between scientific concepts and Islamic values, which can affect student motivation and understanding. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results showed that the use of a Qur'an-based learning approach can increase students' interest and understanding of physics concepts, because students can see the connection between science and religious teachings. This approach also motivates students to study harder in order to prepare for KSM. In addition, teachers play an important role in linking subject matter with Qur'anic values so that students can understand physics concepts holistically. The conclusion of this study is that the integration of physics learning with Qur'anic values can improve student motivation and learning outcomes. This approach is effective in preparing students to compete in KSM in a relevant and meaningful way. Further implementation is expected to optimise students' potential in science and faith

Abstract

This research discusses the values of Islamic religious education in the animated film riko the series episodes 12-15. The purpose of this study is to find out what Islamic religious education values are contained in the animated film riko the series episodes 12-15 using the theory of Imam al-Ghazali. This research is a library research. The object of this research is the analysis of the values of Islamic religious education in the animated film Riko the series episodes 12-15. The results of this author's literature study are about the analysis of the values of Islamic religious education in the animated film riko the series episodes 12-15 which are accessed through youtube riko the series. The author finds, qualitative methods and approaches, that the values of Islamic religious education found in the scenes or dialogues of the characters are moral values and worship values. Moral values include; remind each other of kindness, manners, morals to Allah, always be grateful. While the value of worship includes; Praying, praying for friends, fasting, istiqomah, saying istighfar when making mistakes, getting used to saying greetings.

Abstract

Mathematics must be taught from the time children are in elementary school to middle school level. However, students are not very interested in mathematics, and most students find it a difficult subject. The results of PISA 2018 which placed Indonesia in 70th position out of 78 countries, as well as TIMSS 2015 which placed Indonesia in the bottom 6th position, strengthen this. This is caused by mathematics learning that is not varied and abstract, which is contrary to the way elementary school students think. The Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Learning Approach (PMRI) helps students use pragmatic, logical, critical and honest thinking patterns to direct their thinking from real situations to mathematical concepts. Apart from that, students can understand everyday problems through PMRI. The aim of this research is to find out how effective PMRI is in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IV violation students at MIN Setia Bhakti Trawas. This quantitative research is a quasi-experiment with a purposive sampling technique. In this study, tests were used to collect data. The results of research using the N-Gain score test show that the PMRI class's N-Gain score is an average of 52.92%, which is in the quite effective category, while the control class's N-Gain score is an average of 27.44%, which is in the not quite effective category. effective.

Abstract

The Angkola-Mandailing have long known the philosophy of life of Poda Na Lima as an ancestral heritage whose practice is highly respected. Poda Na Lima is advice that teaches about the importance of maintaining cleanliness such as cleaning the heart, cleaning the body, cleaning clothes, cleaning the house, and cleaning the yard. Character education is an effort made in fostering, shaping, and improving the character of children and students. In character education, there are 18 values such as religious values, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, independence, creativity, and others. This study aims to see and analyze the values of character education in the Poda Na Lima philosophy where there are five values: religious values, honest values, environmental care values, social care values, and responsibility values. This study used a qualitative research method with the type of library research, namely viewing and reading books, journals, and theses as references in this research. This is certainly in line with the Poda Na Lima philoshopy which gives a signal to cleanse the heart as the first step. Thus in the Poda Na Lima Philoshopy there are basic values of Islamic are in line with the goals of national education namely the existence of a generation that has the ability and quality character to face the challenges of changing times.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the problems faced by early childhood in their cognitive development.  Where parents must know at what age their children can determine education so that children can develop according to their cognitive development. The method used in this study is a qualitative case study. Education in early childhood basically includes all the efforts and actions made by educators and parents during the care and education of children. Before children are put into school, people must know the period of child development so that there are no gaps in the future.
