Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the strategies employed by Islamic Education teachers at MAN 1 Mandailing Natal to enhance students' Quran reading skills. The research utilizes a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, gathering data through observation, documentation, and interviews. Findings indicate varying levels of Quran reading proficiency among students, with teaching strategies including habitual Quran reading before lessons, grouping students by ability, and employing the listen-and-repeat Quran reading method. Supportive factors for these strategies include the role of the school principal, parental involvement, the presence of Quran recitation extracurriculars, and high student motivation in Quran learning. Conversely, challenges include a lack of Quran learning resources, limited PAI lesson time, and insufficient educational media facilities. Results from these strategies show gradual improvements in students' Quran reading abilities.

Abstract

Abu Bakar can be a role model for various parties and fields of science, because in his leadership Caliph Abu Bakar Ash-Siddiq did not only think about one side, such as defense and the economy, but he also focused on the field of education. So from the various political policies implemented by Caliph Abu Bakar, educational values ​​can be drawn that can be implemented in the current conditions of Islamic education. The research method used in this research is qualitative research. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research which aims to determine the values ​​of Islamic education in the leadership of Caliph Abu Bakar Ash-Siddiq.  During the period of Abu Bakar Ash-Siddiq's caliphate as leader of the Muslims, there were various values ​​relevant to Islamic education to be discussed, namely: 1) The importance of ensuring that every aspect of Islamic education not only teaches monotheism as a theological belief but also builds awareness. spiritual and moral strength in students. 2) Good examples and building understanding that example is the core of effective leadership and has a positive impact. 3) Today's Islamic education needs to teach students to collaborate, discuss and respect various views in the decision-making process.

Abstract

Non-formal Islamic educational institutions that play an important role in improving the quality of religion in Indonesia are the ta'lim councils. This research aims to identify the activities that the community participates in while participating in the ta'lim assembly. To facilitate research, the author used qualitative methods with interview techniques to obtain information from informants. The research results show that the ta'lim assembly has a big role for the community in the learning activities within it. There are two types of activities carried out based on this research. First, in the field of education, people learn to read the Koran, learn how to practice prayer, lead tahlil, and memorize prayers after prayer. Second, in social activities, the community participates in food sharing activities, Friday blessings, social service, mass circumcisions, as well as sharing takjil and fasting together during the month of Ramadan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of cellphone use on children's play activities outside the home in Jorong Silayang, West Pasaman. The research method used is quantitative with descriptive and inferential analysis techniques. The research population was children aged 6-12 years in Jorong Silayang, West Pasaman, with a sample of 50 people taken using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The results of this study show that almost all respondents have cellphones and more than half of them use cellphones to play games or watch videos. Most children only play outside a few times a week. Statistical analysis shows that there is a significant negative influence between cellphone use and children's playing activities outside the home in Jorong Silayang, West Pasaman. This finding is in line with previous research showing a relationship between cellphone use and children's low physical activity. This research can strengthen public and related parties' awareness of the impact of excessive cellphone use on children's health and lives, as well as encourage active and healthy lifestyles for children through playing activities outside the home.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the methods that teachers and parents can use in teaching Islam to improve students' Islamic character. Education is the main foundation in forming an individual's character, especially for students. Islamic religious education has a significant role in instilling noble values ​​in students from an early age, with the aim of producing a generation with noble character in accordance with Islamic teachings. This article explores the crucial role of Islamic Religious Education in developing positive character in students, as well as effective strategies for implementing language in the educational environment. First, Islamic Religious Education instills strong aqidah values ​​in students. This literature research uses qualitative methods. Data was collected through observation and surveys. Data analysis is carried out naturally without measuring observations in numbers with certain statistics. Some important people are internalized, while observations and interviews provide information about the main people responsible for caregiving. through early childhood parenting patterns, as well as techniques for instilling Islamic character traits in early childhood. The results of this research show that (1) Islamic religious education learning methods for teachers and parents improve the quality of Islamic character through example, direct teaching, praise, persuasion, good habits and memorization in schools, families and other places. in the form of independent, integrated and comprehensive learning activities; (2) Kindergarten aged children are educated with several important Islamic characteristics, such as monotheism education, faith, practice of worship and culture of etiquette, noble morals, and learning the Koran

Abstract

Abstract. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan penerapan aplikasi tersebut kepada siswa untuk mengerjakan tugas matematika di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru, dan siswa kelas VB SD Muhammadiyah Sirojuddin. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, dan observasi. Analisis data kualitatif penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengecekan keabsahan data kualitatif penelitian ini adalah trianggulasi sumber. Sedangkan data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui angket. Analisis data kuantitatif penelitian ini adalah statistik parametrik dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji T berpasangan (paired sample t-test) dan uji T saling bebas (independent sample t-test). Untuk melihat efektivitas dari penggunaan model tersebut menggunakan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pengunaan aplikasi belajar matematika berbasis Android, siswa dapat menggunakannya di dalam pembelajaran, serta penggunaan aplikasi tersebut dapat meningkatkan minat siswa dalam mengerjakan tugas Matematika Kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Sirojuddin Mungkin, Magelang.   Abstrak. The purpose of this study is to reveal the application of the application to students to do mathematics assignments in elementary school. This research is a qualitative and quantitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study are teachers, and students of class VB of SD Muhammadiyah Sirojuddin. Qualitative data was obtained from the results of interviews and observations. The qualitative data analysis of this study is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The technique of checking the validity of qualitative data in this study is source triangulation. Meanwhile, quantitative data was obtained through questionnaires. The quantitative data analysis of this study is parametric statistics with hypothesis tests using paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. To see the effectiveness of using the model, use the N-Gain test. The result of this study is the use of Android-based mathematics learning applications, students can use them in learning, and the use of the application can increase students' interest in doing Mathematics assignments in Class V of SD Muhammadiyah Sirojuddin Barang, Magelang.

Abstract

The mother's role in the household is not only limited to domestic tasks, but also includes a broader role in educating and guiding children. Mothers have a big influence on children's physical, emotional, social and intellectual development. This research aims to understand how maternal involvement in various aspects of household life can improve children's achievements, both in academic and non-academic fields. Education and Guidance One of the important roles of mothers is in providing education and guidance to children. Mothers who are actively involved in their children's education, such as helping with homework, reading together, and teaching effective study skills, can help children understand subject matter better and improve their academic abilities. In addition, mothers who continue to monitor their children's academic progress and communicate regularly with teachers can also ensure that their children get the necessary support at school.

Abstract

A counselor is a profession held by someone who has expertise in the field of counseling services. A counselor is required to be an ideal and professional counselor. Nowadays, there are many counselors who experience failure in counseling because of the quality of the counselee and the quality of the counselor. The study in this research applied descriptive methods. Specifically, with qualitative descriptions. In the sense that the author does not include any numbers that support qualitative research. Meanwhile, the aim of this research is to determine the profile of Rasulullah Shalallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam as an ideal counselor and his contribution to the formation of professional counselors. The character of Rasulullah sallallaahu alaihi wasallam as an ideal counselor has 4 characteristics, namely the Siddiq characteristic, the tabligh characteristic, the trustworthy characteristic, and the fathanah characteristic. The two contributions of the profile of Rasulullah sallallaahu alaihi wasallam as an ideal counselor for the formation of the character of a professional counselor include 1. Having faith and piety, 2. Carrying out good deeds, 3. Advising each other to obey the truth, and 4. Advising each other to maintain patience. The counseling carried out by Rasulullah did not deviate much from Islamic religious law and Allah's law. It is hoped that the absorption of personality values ​​through the personality of the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam can perfect the counselor's personality values ​​so that they can form ideal and professional personal characteristics for prospective counselors.

Abstract

The background to this research starts from the assumption that in maximizing student learning outcomes it is deemed necessary to introduce new innovations in a learning process This research aims to determine the effect of inquiry strategies in improving students’ cognitive learning outcomes. The research uses normative library research, namely by carrying out searches of library materials in the form of literature and legislation related to inquiry learning strategies. This research aims to determine the effect of inquiry learning strategies on students learning outcomes. Learning models are one of the important things to apply in improving student learning outcomes. The inquiry learning model requires students to contribute actively during teaching and learning activities, both intellectually, emotionally and physically, with the hope that students will be able to strive for self-development, respond, provide opinions and solve learning problems both in groups and individually. This research is motivated by the problem of low student learning outcomes. Learning outcomes are a process characterized by changes in a person. Changes as a result of the learning process can be shown in various forms such as changes in skills, abilities, habits, as well as changes in aspects at the end of a lesson. Student learning outcomes are seen from ability, understanding and evaluation. These abilities cover cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. If these three aspects are owned or mastered by students, then the student's learning outcomes will be visible.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the influence of contextual learning on students’ learning motivation and their ability to think critically. This study carries out a meta-analysis of a number of empirical studies that have been conducted in the context of contextual learning. The results of the analysis show that contextual learning has a significant influence on students’ learning motivation and their ability to think critically. These findings indicate the importance of integrating real-world contexts in the learning process to increase students’ motivation and their ability to analyze information critically. The practical implication of these findings is the need to develop learning strategies that emphasize the application of real contexts in teaching to increase student engagement and achievement in learning.
