Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' critical thinking skills on emperature and heat material. This research used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects were eleventh-grade students. The instrument used was an essay test based on Ennis’ critical thinking indicators, including elementary clarification, basic support, inference, advanced clarification, and strategy and tactics. Supporting data were obtained through observation and interviews. The results showed that students' critical thinking skills were still in the low category with an average score of 31.06. The highest achievement was found in elementary clarification, while the lowest was in inference and strategy and tactics. Therefore, students' critical thinking skills on temperature and heat material still need to be improved through learning that encourages higher-order thinking activities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how teachers help students learn effectively at MA NW Kabar. When students feel supported and encouraged in their learning, they are more likely to be motivated and perform well (Sardiman, 2020). The study used a learning method that emphasizes detailed understanding, where data was collected through observation, talking with people, and reviewing documents (Sugiyono, 2022). Teachers help students feel comfortable, safe, and engaged in learning. Teachers do more than just teach. They also help students learn, encourage them, and show them how to behave. Strategies used include effective communication, the application of a humanistic approach, and creative and disciplined classroom management (Mulyasa, 2021). Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' ability to understand observation report texts using the LOK-R method and Wordwall media. The subjects of this study were 24 students of class VIII A at MTsN 2 North Aceh. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) with data collection techniques conducted through tests and observation. Data validation was carried out using triangulation by cross-checking the data obtained through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The research procedure followed the classroom research stages, consisting of two cycles. Each cycle involved four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The results of the study showed that the LOK-R method and Wordwall media could improve students' ability to understand observation report texts. This is evident from the percentage of student learning completeness in cycle I, which was only 20.83%, and in cycle II it increased to 91.66% with a very good category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the LOK-R method and Wordwall media can improve students' ability to understand observation report texts.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the impact of school facility availability and damage on student concentration and learning quality at SMPN 2 Sakra. A quantitative descriptive-correlational approach was employed, involving a survey of 80 students and observations of school facilities. Data were analyzed using correlation and regression analysis. Statistical analysis indicated that higher availability of adequate facilities significantly improves students’ concentration and learning quality, whereas the presence of damaged or inadequate facilities negatively affects these outcomes. The results suggest that maintaining and improving school facilities is crucial for optimizing students’ academic experience. It is recommended that school administrators prioritize facility maintenance and resource allocation to enhance learning conditions. These findings contribute to understanding the role of the physical environment in education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of student-centered learning in order to improve learning outcomes at SMPN 2 SAKRA. The background of this research arises from the observation that there are differences in students' academic abilities within the classroom, requiring teachers to apply learning strategies that can accommodate this diversity. The research uses a qualitative approach, and data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings show that learning adjustments are carried out through grouping students based on their understanding levels, providing materials and tasks in stages, and using varied teaching methods. The application of student-appropriate learning has been found to effectively increase student participation, learning motivation, and overall academic performance. Therefore, learning that is adjusted to students' abilities can serve as an effective alternative strategy to enhance the quality of the learning process and outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students’ problem-solving abilities in physics regarding the topic of fluid dynamics through a preliminary study at Mekar Arum High School. The main question is how well students perform in solving physics problems. This study serves as an initial investigation to identify students’ difficulties. A descriptive method was applied involving 36 students, with data collected through observation, interviews, and diagnostic tests. The results indicate that students’ problem-solving skills remain low, particularly in the planning and evaluation stages of solution development. These findings underscore the need for a more student-centered learning approach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using PowerPoint-based interactive media with a Deep Learning approach in increasing the learning interest and understanding of ninth-grade students in social studies. The use of engaging, dynamic, and responsive digital media is expected to create a more enjoyable learning atmosphere and improve students' deep thinking skills. This study was conducted in the 2025/2026 academic year with ninth-grade students as subjects. The results showed that the use of interactive media was able to significantly increase students' learning interest and strengthen conceptual understanding.

Abstract

Education plays a vital role in shaping individuals and society, focusing on knowledge dissemination and character development. One important yet often overlooked aspect of education is the philosophy of education, or Axiology, which studies the values underlying education. Axiology significantly influences educational policies, curriculum development, and teaching practices, which aim not only to achieve academic success but also to foster character and morality in students. This research aims to explore and analyze the development and dynamics of research on Axiology in Education using a bibliometric approach based on Scopus data. Through systematic literature review (SLR) and bibliometric analysis, this study maps the contributions, trends, and connections between authors, countries, and institutions involved in Axiology research in education. The results show that Axiology in Education remains a significant topic, with a notable increase in publications in 2021. However, there is still a gap in the integration of local values in education and dominance in research from certain countries, such as Russia. This study also suggests prioritizing the integration of moral and ethical values in educational policies, curriculum development, and teacher training programs in the future. The findings provide insights for researchers and practitioners to further develop value-based education that is more holistic and relevant to social and cultural contexts.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of constructivism as a foundation for innovation in educational organizational management, particularly in the context of educational institution governance. In an era of rapid global change, innovation in educational management is crucial to ensure the relevance and sustainability of educational institutions. The constructivist approach, which emphasizes active learning, experiential understanding, and individual knowledge construction, can be a paradigm that makes a significant contribution to designing more effective managerial systems and structures. This article uses a qualitative approach with a literature review to explore how constructivism can be applied to educational management innovation. It was found that constructivist principles can strengthen collaborative dynamics, shared knowledge-based decision-making, and the development of more adaptive and responsive managerial models to change.
