Abstract

Realism is a philosophical teaching which considers that a truth is a real picture or a real copy of the world of reality from an idea that exists in someone’s mind. The goal of the philosophy of realism is to understand and recognize the existence of an external world that is objective and independent of the human mind. The philosophy of realism believes that the external world has a real existence and can be accessed through human observation and experience. Another goal of the philosophy of realism is to develop a better understanding of the world and avoid errors in the interpretation and understanding of reality. In the educational context, the philosophy of realism aims to develop education that is based on experience and objective observation, so that students can understand the world better and more accurately.

Abstract

An ideology known as radicalism is growing in society, advocating for change through violence. This is why many people opt for simple ways and make everything legal to meet all demands and desires. To better understand radicalism in philosophy, this article explores it in relation to religious, economic, political, and educational understandings. Article reviews are used in the writing process. Additionally, the findings indicate that religious radicalism stems from the mindset of its followers, who use violence to persuade those with different views to adopt their interpretation of the economic and spiritual stance, inspiring actions intended to weaken and change the status quo. Meanwhile, political radicalism refers to a mindset that seeks comprehensive and revolutionary transformation by forcefully overturning existing norms. Furthermore, educators can become radicalized teachers, school administrators can become radicalized teachers, and the community or parents of students can become radicalized teachers and schools through various forms of intimidation.

Abstract

This article explores the role and conception of socialism in philosophical studies, exploring the roots of thought, theories, values, and concepts underlying socialist ideology. This study discusses the evolution of socialism from a historical perspective and its philosophical consequences on societal, political, and economic structures. The writing method is done by article review. Furthermore, it was found that the solution offered by Islamic Socialism was that Islam had exemplified its values, including love of justice, opposition to oppression, and belief in the macrocosmic transcendence of Allah and microcosmic transcendence of fellow human beings. Modern socialism emerged as a reaction to the plight of the people under greedy liberal capitalism. There is moderate socialism that champions its ideals in a “soft” way, and there is “radical” socialism that seeks to bring about the ideal conditions of society through revolution. Understanding related to socialism in philosophical studies plays an important role in presenting knowledge, especially in Indonesia.

Abstract

Perennialism argues that values and norms are eternal or everlasting. These values and norms originate from ideas and concepts that have proven to be relevant and beneficial over the years. Perennialism looks back to the past not merely to reminisce about it; instead, they believe that axiomatic principles remain useful in the present time as they are unaffected by time. Perennialist philosophers argue that modern educational practices are crucial because they are based on the customs and cultures of the past, which hold values and ideals still relevant to the firm and just modern life. This article provides information through a review of perennialism in the study of philosophy, encompassing areas such as religious understanding, economics, politics, and education. The writing method employed is article review. The findings indicate that perennialism in religion is motivated by the transcendent unity behind the diversity or plurality of religions and religiosity, according to perennial philosophers. Shared views, or what is referred to as the fundamental message of religion in Islam, demonstrate this transcendent unity: submission to God every day and experiencing His presence in everyday life. The educational goal according to perennialism is to provide knowledge about absolute and eternal truths based on deeply held beliefs, absolute, and timeless.

Abstract

Communism has unfortunately had a bad reputation in Indonesia as a result of the tendency to blend this ideology with political elements. This is particularly apparent in the process of selecting a party chairperson in Indonesia, in which the Statute/Articles of Association of any party indirectly implied that communism is a forbidden ideology. Therefore, the notion that communism is an unacceptable ideology could easily emerge among the members of society. This paper shows that Communism has in fact no significant correlation in the process of selecting the chairperson of a political party. The process of selecting the chairperson of a political party will not run in a democratic way if the Statute/Articles of Association of a political party did not obtain previous legalization of the Government.

Abstract

Idealism greatly contributes to the world of education, or the progress of the world of education. We can see it in terms of methods and curriculum in schools today. This article provides us with information in the form of a review of idealism in the study of philosophy, both in the areas of understanding religion, economics, politics and education. The writing method is carried out by article review. Idealism is a philosophical school which believes that everything exists at the level of ideas, this is the result we get. Real reality primarily exists in the reality of ideas and thoughts, not in material things. However, idealism itself does not deny the existence of matter. Matter is the outermost part of the deepest essence which is called reason or spirit, so matter is the outer shell of essence, spirit, reason or spirit, values. Therefore, idealism often uses concepts that involve abstractions such as thought, reason, values, and character. Idealism assumes that the properties of objects are spiritual, immaterial, and idealistic.

Abstract

Behaviorism theory can be applied to children’s education. The basic concept of behaviorism is that the interaction between stimulus and response causes learning. This theory focuses on measurement because measurement is an important way to find out whether there is a change in behavior in children or not. By using this theory, teachers must determine learning objectives, carry out learning analysis, determine children’s initial characteristics and abilities, determine indicators of learning success, create teaching materials, create learning strategies, observe stimuli that may be given to children, such as exercises or assignments, observe and analyzing student responses, and providing effective reinforcement.
